'The letter was keep cycling through my mind , i wanted to open it , needed to know what was written inside and who left it for me , but now wasn't the right time '
My brother was standing right infront of me , and i didn't want to create a mess right now .
If he found out about this letter , the whole family would know within minutes .
So i had no choice - i had to hide it from him , But then , another thought keep tugging at my mind ,
' Did he find something inside the magic room ?'
' Did he notice anything that could help us , find the potion and spell book more easily?
Out of curiosity, I asked him " Did you find anything unusual in the magic room and the vault? Did you talk to the guards ask ,if anyone was seen near that area? Tried to keep my voice calm"
" No i didn't find anything unusual there , everything looked normal , he replied , with a wave of disappointment in voice "
Then he added - the guards said he only saw sophia near that area, no - one else 'after hearing all this , my heart grew heavy ' and we started walking down the hallway, heading back towards home.
' my brother walked beside me, unaware of the storm turning in my head , thankfully he did not suspect a thing '
Trying to sound causal i asked " Do you think the guards could be lying ?"
Draven shook his head firmly " No that's not possible "
He looked at me once and added - " you know all the servants in the place are bound by magic , they can't lie , even if they want to "
Oh i forget - " I said , shaking my head in disappointment" To divert Draven 's mind .
" But why didn't we use that on sophia ?" i asked my brother .
" Because the spell book was stolen so magic don't work correctly without it" Draven said with tightening his fists .
' Everything became even more confusing after I heard all of that ' if guard really saw sophia , then what were we missing ?
' still thinking about all this we finally reached home '
My brother and I were both frustrated and tired , and no more closer to the truth .
We did not know what to do after that , and every path felt like a dead end , but what frustrated me the most .... Was " The letter " ' it was still in my pocket burning against my skin, like a secret to loud to ignore.
' I just wanted to know what was written inside , without saying a word to each other , we went to our rooms '
The moment I stepped into mine a wave of relief washed over me , finally silence , space, and without wasting another second , I pulled the letter from my pocket , and opened it.
' The letter was written in bold , with threating words '
" The opening line of the letter was - I know you definitely came looking for proof , but take my advice , you won't because it was planned properly "
" If you want to know the truth , came to New Osylen forest , alone , if you are going to tell anybody , you will never know the truth "
' As I read those words , my heart skipped a beat? Tension gripped me , who was he?'
'But one thing was certain - he knew something about the potion and the spell book, but why New Osylen forest ? It was really a meeting .... Or a trap ?'
I didn't know what to do ? In my mind one thing was certain , if I wanted to save sophia , i had to follow him .
'After reading all the bullshit and thinking about all this , i left my room in silence , telling no one '
" I couldn't risk anyone finding out , what I carried or where I was headed, if my father learned the truth , sophia 's fate would be sealed , and this time her punishment, might be far worse.
When I arrived at new osylen forest , darkness had already fallen and an eerie silence hung in the air , the moment I stepped inside , I knew something wasn't right .
He had called me to meet behind the ancient Oak tree , a tree said to have stood for a thousand years , I searched for it , but finding it , proved harder than i expected .
I had never been to that forest before - it was my first time , and ever since the magic book was taken , my power was weakened it was not like it was before.
After searching for a long time , I finally found that Oak tree , and my blue eyes lit up , as I reached it .
I was surprised when I saw the tree it was so dense , its roots spread all around , it was evening , and the darkness fell even deeper .
I stood in awe as i looked at the tree - massive and dense , with roots winning across the ground like ancient veins , it was evening and the fading light made the shadows beneath it fell even deeper , almost alive .
Suddenly I heard a strange voice behind me , I turned around , but no was there , then i saw it lying in the mud it was the magic seal of spell book .
And near the seal , a tall figure was standing ,its shadow stretching towards me like a silent threat.
