"You said something about cursed energy and cursed spirits, are those what you carry?" Ibiki suddenly asked
"Yes"
"But while you made mention of cursed spirits being harmful in places and objects, you made no mention of them in the human body," Ibiki persisted with his hands in his sleeves as usual, tense for action. Maybe they were wrong about Yuta.
"Cursed spirits can attach to a normal human whether the person is willing or not, and cause harm to his surrounding or many scales, however a cursed spirit attaching to a jujutsu sorcerer is different, but that would lead me to telling you the different types of jujutsu sorcerers which even I don't know all their specialties, however there are some jujutsu sorcerers that can harness the use of the cursed spirits for battle and other uses depending on their needs as a specialty" Yuta said reminiscing of Geto towards the end.
"And I am guessing you are one of these sorcerers?" Shikaku asked.
"No, Rika' is not a tool for me, she is my companion and she has a will of her own," Yuta said affirmatively.
"And I am to assume you have her under control and not the other way around?" Ibiki asked, staring dead into Yuta's eyes.
"Yes"
"How is it that you have someone who has a will under control?" Shikaku asked
"She is different... I trained to understand her, and that was what gave me my title as a jujutsu sorcerer. Other jujutsu sorcerers who cannot handle their cursed spirits get executed as part of the exorcism." Yuta said
Ibiki and Shikaku could already imagine the scale of this world if it were true.
It bordered on a lot of forbidden techniques, although in their world, forbidden may not be the word.
"How old are you, Yuta?" Shikaku asked
"17"
"How long have you been with your cursed spirits?" Ibiki asked.
"Spirit, I have only one, and I have been with her for 11 years," Yuta replied, only now catching a weird look on their faces, but it didn't last long.
"And how long have you been a jujutsu sorcerer?" Shikaku asked.
"Four months" Yuta replied.
At this point the whole room was quiet.
Shikaku now found this quite acceptable
It also meant there was almost no way he was a spy, not that he was dismissing the possibility of anything or even a lie.
However, this also meant they might dismiss the theory of Dan Kato's technique being utilized here.
Shikaku, in total, didn't know how to feel about the emotional rollercoaster the Hokage might have to go through.
But Shikaku went ahead to ask Yuta again about his arrival in the forest and why or how he got to this world from his, but truthfully, again, Yuta gave the same answers that he had no idea at all.
And before they left, Shikaku asked him one last question.
"Do you think you can live a peaceful life?"
"Is that too much to ask for?" Yuta replied.
"Yes, yes, it is," Shikaku replied as a courtesy of letting Yuta know this world had its own Monsters, heroes, and people who don't belong in-between.
"Someone will be sent to receive you shortly with a change of clothes and food. You should probably use the bathroom, Yuta Okkotsu. Welcome to Konoha" Ibiki said.
