He arrived in his bedroom and immediately threw himself onto the bed, a wide grin spreading across his face. The ceiling fan above spun lazily, but to him, it felt like the whole room was spinning with excitement.
For the first time, he'd made real progress with Debbie, and the rush of it pulsed through his veins.
' This is just the start. The only time I can freely celebrate is when I'm at 50% or something. Around that time I can go AFK and let my aura do the work for me. I can't wait though ' he thought, gripping his pillow like it was a trophy.
After a few minutes of basking in the moment, he realized he was just lying there doing nothing. With a sigh, he rolled out of bed and decided to work out. If he had the time, why not push himself? He hit the floor and started on push-ups, crunches, squats—every exercise he could think of.
This time, he didn't hold back. His muscles screamed, his breathing turned ragged, and sweat poured down his face in stinging streams. He didn't stop until his arms trembled so badly that even lifting his phone felt impossible.
He collapsed on the floor, chest rising and falling like he'd just run a marathon. Every inch of his body throbbed in protest, but a small, stubborn smile tugged at his lips. Was this worth it? Yes. Absolutely.
Finally, he managed to grab his phone and pull up his stats.

It wasn't much progress, but the numbers were moving. That was enough to keep him going.
' Tomorrow is the first day of school. I don't want to give myself too much work so I'll go one girl at a time. Who will I go for first? Judith is pretty easy since she has a crush on me, I guess. So she'll be my first ' he thought with a smirk, already picturing her reaction when he made his move.
In the game, he never understood why the MC wasn't that into Judith. She was attractive, sure, but he always brushed her off as some awkward, lonely girl who lingered around without much presence. Now though, with the way he saw things differently, he realized she was at least a solid 7 out of 10—someone you'd definitely regret fumbling. Maybe gaining all this knowledge had shifted his perspective.
He now had an objective, but before he could even think about approaching Judith, there was something he needed to take care of first.
' Money. I could take the one outside in the boat, but I feel that would be cheating. Then again, why have all this knowledge if I won't use it? I guess I'll take it just in case. I mean, it might rain and it'll get wet or something ' he thought, already weighing his options.
He checked the clock and realized dinner would be ready soon. Stretching, he stood up from his chair and made his way to the bathroom for a quick shower.
As he passed Jenny's room, she caught sight of him heading down the hall and smirked to herself. The moment his door clicked shut, she slipped inside his room, her eyes scanning every corner like a thief casing a store. She wasn't here to steal—not exactly—but to plant something incriminating. A little insurance policy for a future payday.
She reached under her skirt, slid her panties off, and stuffed them beneath his mattress. A perfect little trap.
Without wasting another second, she darted out and returned to her own room.
' I'll have that sucker paying me money daily. It'll be like I've got a job. Even that site won't compare if this works ' she thought with a sly grin.
Meanwhile, Travis stepped out of the shower, towel around his waist, running another towel through his damp hair. He barely had time to process the steam clearing from the hallway mirror before he spotted Jenny standing right outside his door.
" Travis, where are my pink laced panties? " she asked sharply, arms crossed.
" Your what? " he replied, one eyebrow raised.
" My underwear, Travis. I can't find it, " she repeated.
" And so? What does that have to do with me? " he asked, brushing past her, but she followed close behind.
When he reached his room, he opened the door and stepped in. Jenny trailed after him, closing the gap.
" If you don't know where they are, then why don't I search your room? " she said with a smug smile.
Travis turned to face her, his expression flat, unreadable. Then he stepped forward, slow and deliberate, until his hand gently wrapped around her throat. Jenny's eyes widened, her breath catching—not entirely from fear.
She instinctively tried to back away, but his grip tightened just enough to hold her in place.
" I know you planted your underwear in my room. Why would you do that? For money? " His voice was low, steady. " If you wanted some, you could've just asked. You're basically my sister, so why would I refuse if I have it on me? "
Jenny's face warmed as a strange, almost guilty pleasure spread through her from the firm grip.
" Now tell me… how much do you want? " he asked, his gaze locking on hers.
" 300 dollars, " she answered quietly.
Without hesitation, he released her, turned to his desk, and picked up his phone. A few taps later, $400 had been sent to her account.
" Don't ask why I added an extra hundred. Now could you get out? I need to change. "
Jenny stood there for a moment, staring at him, unsure of what to say. Then she turned and left the room without another word.
He shut the door, changed clothes, and sat back at his desk, switching to his other account to continue trading. The city account was just for day-to-day life—his real earnings went elsewhere.
Jenny, now in her room, felt her phone buzz. She glanced at the screen: $400 transferred. Guilt twisted in her stomach. She had planned to blackmail him, but he had simply handed over more than she asked for. No drama, no threats—just trust.
He saw her as a sister, didn't even care about her body, and here she was plotting against him. She'd never admit it out loud, but the whole thing left her feeling awful.
' I guess I should just sign up into that site, ' she thought, tossing her phone onto the bed.
In Travis's Room
Travis chuckled to himself, leaning back in his chair.
' I always wanted to do that. I might genuinely be a sadist now that I think about it, ' he thought, a satisfied grin tugging at his lips.
He finished pulling on a fresh shirt, but the satisfaction faded fast when reality set in—he had just burned through a chunk of his funds.
' Fuck… who did I think I was, giving her $400? Tony Stark? Bruce Wayne? Nope—just broke-ass Travis, ' he thought with a groan, slumping forward.

In Jenny's Room
Jenny tapped away at her phone, finishing the signup process for the site. Her eyes narrowed with determination. She was going to make money in every way possible… well, except outright prostitution.
Then again, as she thought about it, what she was doing… yeah, it was kinda prostitution if you broke it down.
The registration finished, and the screen asked if she wanted to upload a photo. She paused, chewing her lip. After a moment's consideration, she decided against it for now. Tomorrow would be better—no one would be home to interrupt her, and she could set everything up in peace.
' Alright, I'll wear a mask. Not looking to destroy my reputation just yet—I mean, I still have to get married someday, ' she thought with a smirk.
She tossed her phone onto the bed, got up, and headed downstairs. The smell of cooking drifted through the house, warm and comforting.
In the kitchen, she found Travis leaning casually against the counter, talking with Debbie, who was busy at the stove.
" Mom, is dinner ready? " she asked.
Debbie glanced over her shoulder and shook her head with a gentle smile.
" No, not yet. It'll only be a few minutes. Why don't you wait in the dining room? "
Jenny nodded, walking past them. As she did, she risked a quick glance at Travis—only to quickly avert her eyes. The memory of earlier still lingered, making her feel oddly self-conscious.

In the Dining Room
She sat down, scrolling through her phone, but the tension in the air was thick enough to notice.
Travis walked in and sat beside her, his tone calm but sincere.
" Hey Jenny, sorry for grabbing you there. It was just reflex. "
She didn't look at him immediately, instead focusing on her phone before lowering it.
" No, I'm so— cough … sorry for trying to frame you. I don't know what was on my mind at the time, I guess, " she admitted, the words awkward and stiff on her tongue.
Silence fell. Travis blinked at her, honestly taken aback. He'd been expecting her to be her usual smug, combative self, not to… apologize.
Still, he smiled faintly. There was some humanity under that attitude after all.
" Well, let's put it behind us and return to our normal relationship, " he said.
She gave a small nod, not meeting his eyes again, and returned to scrolling.
Travis stood, heading back into the kitchen where Debbie was plating the food.
" Get the plates, please. Also, make sure you both wash your hands, " Debbie instructed without turning.
He'd already washed his hands earlier, so he grabbed a stack of plates and set the dining table. The silverware clinked softly against the wood, the smell of Debbie's cooking growing stronger with every passing moment.
When she finally brought out the dishes, Travis wasted no time. He dug in without hesitation, savoring the first bite. It was delicious—easily the best thing he'd had in a while—and something about eating food cooked by a beautiful woman made it taste even better.
