One Piece World – Merry, Girls' Cabin
Vivi looked at Nami, whose face was still streaked with tears, and comforted her:
"Nami, don't be upset. The original story is the original story, but now is now. You haven't done those things, and hubby—I mean, Xiao Qi—will change his opinion of you over time."
"Besides, didn't Linglong and Zhuqing both indirectly explain things for you?"
Nami sniffled, her face full of frustration. "Vivi, I hate the version of me in the original story right now."
"Earlier, I even said I'd sacrifice myself to help him turn into a Super Saiyan, but he didn't believe me at all!"
Vivi sighed softly. "Nami, you can't think like that. Xiao Qi was just joking at the time. What you need to do now is trigger a mission as soon as possible—that way, you'll have an excuse to call him over."
Robin chimed in, "Next time, why don't we just invite that Jashin Shura along too? Didn't she call you out directly earlier? Well, you can do the same to her."
Vivi nodded. "I think that's a good idea. With all of us ganging up on her, let's see how she handles the chat group after that."
"Just because she's got a slightly better figure, what's the big deal?"
Robin smirked. "Our navigator isn't just going to give up like this, are you? That doesn't sound like you."
Nami clenched her teeth, her face burning with anger. "Fine, let's do it! That damn woman actually dared to call me out—I'll make sure she knows Nami isn't someone to mess with!"
Vivi grinned. "That's more like it! And your biggest advantage is your plot relevance—as Xiao Qi would say, 'What's there to fear? Just go all out!'"
Nami gave Vivi a strange look. "You're the princess of Alabasta. Is it really okay for you to talk like that?"
Vivi giggled. "What's wrong with it? I'm Xiao Qi's wife too. They say a wife grows to resemble her husband."
"You little brat, showing off in front of me again, huh? Just you wait—I'll teach you a lesson!"
One Punch Man World
After last night's bonfire party, when Su Xiaoqi and the others arrived at the tournament grounds, someone called out to them:
"Big shot, come sit with us today!"
"Yeah, that bastard Zhang Chulan's too embarrassed to sit with us now—hahaha!"
Su Xiaoqi chuckled and walked over to join them. She figured it'd be more lively with a bigger group.
As the start of the first match approached, the referee's voice echoed across the arena:
"Contestants Lu Linglong and Zhang Lingyu, please enter the arena."
Lu Linglong stood up with a smile. "Everyone, I'll be back in a bit."
The others smiled knowingly—this was just a formality, after all.
However, things didn't go as they expected. Once in the center of the arena, Zhang Lingyu actually started trash-talking Lu Linglong.
"Lu Linglong, I'll defeat you fair and square in this match."
Everyone tensed up, their eyes darting to Su Xiaoqi. Was this about to turn into another mess?
Su Xiaoqi laughed. "Don't look at me like that. Linglong's matches from now on depend entirely on her own strength. You can also take this chance to see how strong she's become."
They'd have to wait for the match to start to gauge Lu Linglong's strength, but her attitude was already loud and clear.
"Zhang Lingyu, I'm in a good mood today, so I'll only use one hand to beat you. If you force me to use both, I'll forfeit."
Zhang Lingyu's face darkened instantly. "Even if you get Su Xiaoqi to blow up Dragon Tiger Mountain today, I'll still defeat you."
Despite his bold declaration, the moment the match began, Zhang Lingyu was completely lost.
One second, Lu Linglong was standing across from him—the next, she had vanished from his sight.
The spectators stared at Zhang Lingyu's dumbfounded expression, equally confused.
"You talked all that big game, and we actually believed you—but in the end, you still didn't dare to lay a finger on her?"
However, some noticed something unusual.
"Old Lu, what kind of technique did your granddaughter learn? From Zhang Lingyu's reaction, it seems he genuinely can't see her—yet we can all still spot her clearly."
Lu Jin grumbled, "How should I know? That girl doesn't tell me anything anymore. The only time she acts like her old self is around that man."
The Heavenly Master chuckled. "Seems like I'll be attending a wedding at your Lu family soon."
Back in the arena, with no way to locate Lu Linglong, Zhang Lingyu had no choice but to wait.
Randomly using his Yin Five Thunder would only drain his energy. His only option was to let her attack first—then, based on where the strike landed, he could pinpoint her position.
Zhang Lingyu's plan was sound, and he did eventually get his chance.
What he didn't know was that Lu Linglong's abilities went beyond just "Flawed Invisibility."
For example—the monstrous strength behind the punch she just threw at him.
Su Xiaoqi watched as Lu Linglong knocked Zhang Lingyu out with a single punch and couldn't help but laugh.
There was something hilariously jarring about this sweet-looking girl using brute force like that.
"Sss—"
The others gasped at Lu Linglong's overwhelming display, but what puzzled them more was why Zhang Lingyu just stood there like an idiot and took the hit.
Even if it was an act, there was no need to let himself get punched—that looked painful.
Burning with curiosity, they swarmed Zhang Lingyu the moment he and Lu Linglong returned, bombarding him with questions.
Zhang Lingyu stared bitterly at Lu Linglong, who was now proudly showing off to Su Xiaoqi.
He wanted answers more than anyone.
The second match was far more exciting than Lu Linglong's—at least everyone could follow what was happening.
Wang Ye and Zhuge Qing, both top-tier fighters, went all out, unleashing their strongest techniques.
But the result was unexpected—Zhuge Qing, the crowd favorite, lost in the end.
The third match was skipped entirely.
As for the fourth match—Zhang Chulan, after a day of lying low, was back to his usual antics.
His and Feng Baobao's shamelessly fake performance drew a chorus of boos from the audience.
"Go to hell! Refund our tickets!"
"I've seen shameless people, but never this shameless!"
"How does someone like him even have the guts to stay here?"
"He doesn't have any guts to begin with!"
"Totally shameless!"
"From now on, we're calling him 'Shameless Zhang Chulan'!"
"SHAMELESS ZHANG CHULAN!"
Su Xiaoqi nearly died laughing as she watched Zhang Chulan and Feng Baobao's ridiculous performance.
Watching it live was way more entertaining than the anime.
With the final four decided, the first match of the afternoon would be Zhang Chulan vs. Jia Zhengliang, followed by Lu Linglong vs. Wang Ye.
"Let's go grab lunch first."
As Su Xiaoqi and the others prepared to leave, Zhang Lingyu, still burning with questions, approached Lu Linglong.
"What technique did you use earlier?"
Lu Linglong smirked. "Call me 'big sis,' and I'll tell you."
Zhang Lingyu scowled. "In your dreams! I'd rather die than call you that! Even if you won't say it, I know Su Xiaoqi gave it to you!"
Su Xiaoqi patted his shoulder. "Pay close attention to Linglong's match this afternoon—you might figure it out then."
As Lu Linglong passed Zhang Lingyu, she whispered, "Whether my abilities came from him or not, so what if I rely on Su Xiaoqi? Leaning on my man is something I'm proud of."
Zhang Lingyu's eyes widened. "You—you two aren't even—"
"Shh."
Lu Linglong pressed a finger to her lips.
"Just because it wasn't like that before doesn't mean it won't be in the future. So, you'd better start calling me 'big sis'—I'll take care of you and Xia He."
