🏠 Morning – A Surprise at the Door
Xu Yinyin opened the front door wearing a fuzzy robe and mismatched socks, expecting a package.
Instead, it was Chairman Lu, suitcase in hand, calm expression on his face.
"Grandpa?!"
"Mn. Zeyan's too busy to visit me, so I decided to visit him. I'll stay a few days."
"A few what?"
"Days. Weeks. Depends on how the tea tastes."
He stepped inside like he owned the place (which, technically, he used to).
☕ Kitchen – First Tea Time
Yinyin brewed him some green tea and served it with leftover strawberry cake.
"You really didn't warn us."
"Surprise keeps the heart young."
She laughed.
"Then welcome, Grandpa. You can stay as long as you don't judge my slippers."
He looked down at the panda slippers on her feet and nodded thoughtfully.
"They suit you. You're cheerful."
🧊 Evening – Cold CEO Comes Home
Lu Zeyan stepped through the front door, loosening his tie, and paused.
He heard laughter from the living room. Familiar voices.
"...You're joking."
He walked in and saw:
• Grandpa Lu reclining on the couch
• Xu Yinyin curled beside him, showing him a TikTok dance
• Both of them laughing like old friends
"What is going on?"
Yinyin grinned.
"Your grandpa's fun. We're besties now."
Grandpa nodded.
"She's livelier than the entire board of directors."
🍲 Dinner – Full Chaos
Dinner was noisy.
Yinyin cooked spicy hotpot. Grandpa picked the music.
Zeyan tried to talk about a new partnership, but was quickly shut down.
Grandpa: "No business talk during dinner."
Yinyin: "Exactly. Tonight is about heartburn and bonding."
Zeyan: "I live here."
"And we're grateful for your presence," Yinyin said sweetly.
He gave her a long look.
"You've replaced me."
🛏️ Night – A Private Talk
Later that night, Grandpa Lu stood on the balcony with Zeyan.
"She's special, that one."
"I know."
"Don't let work turn you into your father. She married you, not the empire."
Zeyan looked away for a second, silent.
"She's loud. Unpredictable."
"She's loyal. Smart. Funny. She fits this house more than silence ever did."
🛌 Bedroom – Husband vs. Wife
Zeyan slipped into bed. Yinyin was already under the blanket, scrolling through cat videos.
"You really get along with him," he mumbled.
She smiled, not looking up.
"He listens. Laughs at my jokes. Eats my hotpot. Unlike somebody."
"He's staying too long."
"He said until we give him a grandchild."
Zeyan blinked.
"That's illegal emotional pressure."
Yinyin rolled over, kissed his cheek.
"Better start trying, hubby."
