Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Floor 0, Part 3

Glancing around, Sunny noticed a flash weapon and armor shop in the center of the trading center. There was a large group of Players swarming around the shop, trying to haggle down the prices of the expensive and flashy weapons.

Hmm, it looks a bit busy, but I might as well check it out. After all, it's one of the only weapon shops around here.

After standing in line for a few minutes, Sunny had made it to the trading counter. Standing on the other side was an eager-looking young man who seemed to be around his age.

That's strange, someone so young is selling such expensive artifacts. Could he be the son of a rich tycoon in the tower?

Looking around, Sunny spotted many expensive and useful artifacts. Some could double your magic power, some were shining, elegant swords that could turn anyone into a notworthy swordsman. After thinking a moment, Sunny had decided,

"I'd like to buy your best sword and a magic power-amplifying artifact. The price does not matter, just get me the best weapons you have."

Looking shocked, the young man behind the counter started rummaging around his shop. After digging around for a few seconds, he pulled out an elegant-looking long sword and an oak staff with a purple magic crystal on the end of it,

"This is the best I have to offer you. The sword amplifies your damage by 150% as well as effectively channels sword aura. Also, the magical staff increases your magic power by 200%, as well as upgrading your divine trait. These will cost you 100 gold each."

Wow! This is a pretty good deal for the first floor of the tower. These weapons should be able to last me until at least floor 10, but 100 gold each is a bit much.

Looking over the weapons one last time, Sunny had decided,

"I'll buy both."

Handing over 200 gold coins, Sunny grabbed the two 2 weapons and headed in the direction of the dark forest.'

I guess I should go find the goblin king now, but it would be anticlimactic if I ended up dying right after getting to the first floor, which is still technically part of the tutorial of the tower.

Well, I'd better get to work,

"Summon Undead Spirits"

After that command, out of the dark void, the Undead Spirits began slowly rising from the floor. With a few found efficiency, they all knelt in rows in front of Sunny.

"Take me to the Goblin King."

Quickly, the vast army lunged forward, directing him to the goblin king. Soon after a few minutes of walking, they had arrived.

The goblin king was sitting on a throne adorned with the bones of the players that had come before him. Standing to the side of him were the 50 elite goblin warriors that his spirit had mentioned to Sunny before.

Hmm, it seems like they did a good job scouting. I have about a 30 goblin advantage, but I'd say those elite goblins are about as powerful as about 5 of mine.

"Well, this seems like it will be fun."

"Undead soldiers... Attack."

"Undead arches, Attack from the back."

After that command, the goblin swordsmen charged forward while the goblin archers were preparing to attack, but before they could do anything, the goblin elites that had been standing by the king suddenly charged forward, destroying everything in their path.

*Ding*

"[15] undead soldiers have been destroyed."

Before Sunny could even process what was going on, the goblin king stood up off his jagged throne of bones and looked in his direction. Then, after not even a second, he launched off the platform he was standing on, flying through the air, heading towards Sunny with a palpable blood lust cutting through the air.

Grabbing his sword, Sunny unsheathed it, preparing to block the incoming attack,

"Summon Sword Aura"

After that command, the once bright, shiny sword was engulfed in a dark, thick purple fog. The aura was pulsing in a cayotic rhythm as if trying to unsettle the enemy ahead of it.

The goblin king pulled his grand long sword back and swiftly thrust it into Sunny's sword. Barley withstanding the attack, Sunny lunged back, trying to collect his thoughts and think of a counterattack.

"Everyone attacks him at once."

With that command, all the undead soldiers that were holding back the other goblins lunged towards the goblin king, trying their best to hold him down, but it was ineffective...

Swinging his grand sword once again, the goblin king destroyed half of the goblins on top of him. The recoil from the sword swing rippled through the air, causing strong winds to rush through the forest.

*Ding*

"30 undead soldiers have been destroyed."

"35 undead soldiers remain intact."
