Looking around the run-down castle, there were dead bodies littering the ground, everywhere the eye could see. Outside the castle walls, there was a dark storm brewing, with hordes of monsters ready to attack and topple the castle, killing everything inside at a moment's notice.
How are we even supposed to hold all of them back, let alone kill them? Even with my necromancy, I was outmatched 100:1.
Well, I guess I'll worry about that later; first, I need to get a plan in place. If I can't move on to the next floor, I'll be sent back to floor 0 and have to redo that stupid quest again.
I did get a basic magic spell skill from the goblin king, but I haven't tried it a single time yet. I also got a skill called divine sight, but I have no idea what that even does. I guess I'll just focus on necromancy for the time being. If I can grow my army, I might stand a chance.
Walking up the top walkway on top of the tattered castle walls. The brittle stone bricks felt like they would crumble with one misplaced step, let alone be strong enough to withstand an army. Sunny glanced around in the distance, trying to gauge the size of the army. There seemed to be a clear hierarchy in the army of the monsters.
There were 3 different sections of the army preparing to attack and topple the castle. There was a group of orcs led by a larger orc with large scars tracing throughout his entire body, and a pristine silver crown on his head. To the other side was a goblin that looked similar to the goblin king Sunny had recently fought, but he looked to be of a higher ranking with a royal demenar and a long red and gold cloak draped over his large shoulders. Behind him was a small but elite group of goblins that more resembled mercenaries than monsters, and finally, in the middle of the monster's army was a dark mage with a vast army of skeletons behind him. He had a humanoid figure, but a dark, hollow, scarred face that looked more like a forsaken demon straight from hell.
Well...I am so fucked. This is way bigger than it looked from inside the castle. I count at least 600 of them total, 150 goblins, 200 orcs, 250 skeletons, and 3 generals.
I guess it's better not to even think about it. I'll get enough kills at the start to move on, and then let all the other players do all of the heavy lifting. That should keep me at least alive for this floor, hopefully...
*Ding*
"The monster raid will now begin."
"Players will receive one point for slaying a normal monster, and 100 points for a general."
"The player in first place will also receive a new skill."
"Good luck, players."
With those words, the monstrous army began charging ahead, towards the dilapidated castle. A single swing of the general's sword could tear through the thin castle walls, and the endless hordes of monsters could engulf the castle and everything in it.
Without a moment to think, Sunny charged forward to the empty field between the castle and the swarm of monsters. Racing forward until he was 500m away from the incoming horde,
"Summon Undead Soldiers"
With that command, Sunnys' undead army began to crawl from he depths of the abyss once again awaiting their master's command. Suddenly charging forward alongside him as if predicting his command. The goblin archers were setting up in the backline, ready to fire, with the goblin elites and warriors charged forward, begging to taste the blood of the enemy ahead, and finally, the goblin king was calmly awaiting the command to attack the other generals of the army.
*Ding*
"Would you like to use your General ability [Taunt]?"
Looking ahead at the incoming army, Sunny took no more than a second to decide,
"Activate General's Ability"
"Target the Orc Army"
With those words, the general's magic power engulfed the battlefield. All of the monsters ahead started charging in the direction of the goblin king, but while the orc army was distracted, the vast undead army had already surrounded the ones that had charged forward. With one swift move, all of the archers released their magic imbued arrows and shredded the orc's army. Then, following up on the goblin king's lead, the warriors move forward. They charged forward, shredding through everything in their path, eradicating almost half of the orc army in one attack.
Suddenly, a large fireball the size of a small house ripped through the air, towards the undead army. With one massive fiery explosion, the front line of the undead army was engulfed in a smoldering embrace. The recoil raced back and wounded Sunny and the goblin king.

"Players' health has decreased to 56%"
