"Seriously, when are you going back?" I throw a rag on the floor out of frustration.
"You want me to go back?" Cyrus's face falls.
I open and close my mouth, feeling almost sad at his expression. But then I remember how he and Grandpa have been ganging up on me, so instead I glare at him.
"Yes. You are the Alpha; how can you be so calm after leaving the pack by itself for over three months?" I fold my arms.
His eyes follow my motion, and they stay on my breasts, openly staring without shame.
I snap my fingers at him. "My eyes are up here."
He finally looks up and smiles smugly. "I know where your eyes are."
"You don't have any shame, do you?" I scoff.
"Nope." He tilts his head, a teasing glint in his eyes.
"Stop bullying him, Lyra!" Grandpa yells from the front desk.
I gasp out loud, extremely offended, and march out of the Nook to face that old man. "I am not bullying him! He keeps checking me out like a pervert."
