Hulu, I won't be staying here forever, so I'll find a teacher to instruct your father, so he can become the King here."
Qinuo said, he couldn't stay here forever, at most he could give them some help.
"Teacher, can I see him?"
Hulu asked.
"You may."
Qinuo raised his hand and summoned a portal.
A long-unseen figure walked out.
It was a tall man with deep-set eyes. He wore a black robe and his steps were steady and powerful. His face bore the marks of time, yet still exuded an aura of authority and wisdom.
"Young Master."
Hulu's eyes widened as he curiously scrutinized the unfamiliar figure.
"He is Lei Xiaogu, with seven hundred years of experience. From today on, he will be Black Adam's teacher."
Black Adam and Lei Xiaogu met each other's gaze, their eyes intersecting in the air as if invisible sparks were colliding.
Black Adam's eyes held scrutiny and doubt, while Lei Xiaogu's gaze was as calm as Water, so profound it was hard to fathom.
"Teacher."
Black Adam bowed slightly.
"Hmm, Black Adam, I will teach you to become a qualified leader."
Lei Xiaogu could feel that the person in front of him possessed immense power, far greater than his own.
"Lei Xiaogu, you will remain here. Besides teaching Black Adam, you have another mission: to eliminate the members of the Owl Council."
Qinuo infused the information into Lei Xiaogu's brain.
"Yes!"
"Hulu, I will now modify your memory and appearance. This will only be undone once you gain the Shazam Power. Say goodbye to your parents!"
Hulu nodded and walked to his parents' side.
Qinuo looked at Diana, who was lying on the ground dizzy, her mouth already gagged by Harley.
"Diana, I'll let you go, on the condition that you don't tell anyone what happened here in any form. How about it?"
Diana nodded.
After giving some instructions, Qinuo prepared to leave.
First, he would alter Hulu's memory and appearance, then have Lei Xiaogu arrange for him to be placed in Philadelphia.
Then, he would take Diana back to Gotham.
Batcave.
Bruce looked at his three sons in front of him, somewhat silent. They had been so easily swayed by a few words.
Dick, Tim, and Jason curiously looked at the delicate little girl next to Bruce.
"Bruce, is this your daughter?"
Dick asked.
"Hello, big brothers, my name is Damian Wayne."
Damian greeted them politely. Having read the comics, she was very familiar with these three Robins.
Dick and the others responded.
In their hearts, they really liked this sister they were meeting for the first time.
"Yo, Bruce, you're back so soon."
Bruce turned his head and saw Qinuo, who was carrying Diana.
"With all the trouble you've caused, how could I not come back?"
Bruce said.
Thankfully, he hadn't gone too far.
"What trouble? I've been diligently guarding Gotham for you, and I even brought you an old friend."
Qinuo tossed Diana onto the ground.
Bang!
Diana glared furiously.
"Are you leaving now that you're back?"
Bruce glanced at her, saying nothing.
"Yeah, mainly because a war is about to start on my side in a few months. I was able to spare some time to come over because it's Damian's birthday."
Qinuo said.
"Go on, Damian."
Bruce stroked Damian's hair.
"Okay, Dad, take care of yourself."
Damian obediently replied, then ran towards Qinuo.
Qinuo disappeared with Damian.
Bruce came before Diana, first removing the rag from her mouth. He unfolded it and saw black lace.
"Ugh! That bitch!"
Diana's eyes were filled with rage.
"How were you caught by him?"
Bruce began to untie the ropes on her body.
"hdhgsja…"
Diana said.
"What are you saying?"
Bruce frowned.
Diana scrambled to her feet and spoke again.
"rsggsgw…"
Her expression changed.
She found paper, tried to write, no use. Typed on a computer, no use. Used secret codes, no use. Even the Lasso of Truth was useless.
For a Demon King, even a verbal promise was effective.
Bruce watched Diana's futile attempts with a puzzled expression, guessing the reason.
"You can't talk about him in any form?"
Bruce asked.
Diana nodded helplessly.
---
Arkham Asylum.
Qinuo arrived here, looking at the chaotic scene around him.
Everyone wore a Deadpool mask.
"Deadpool, where are you? We need to go."
Everyone turned to look at him.
This guy knows that lunatic.
"Boss, I'm here. It's over so soon? I just organized an outdoor activity with my good friends."
A Deadpool wearing a Batman suit walked out of the crowd.
"You can stay here too. No Vanessa, no salary. Oh, by the way, I was originally planning to give you a five hundred thousand bonus this time, but since you're not coming back, that saves me some money."
Qinuo turned to walk out. As he took one step, his thigh was hugged.
"Boss, actually, I don't really want to stay here. The food isn't good, I can't sleep well, and they often bully me. I really want to go home now."
Deadpool cried, wiping away tears, looking as pitiful as could be.
The people around him saw this and just thought, 'Damn it, who's not eating well and not sleeping well?!'
"Get up. Say goodbye to them."
Qinuo shook his head.
"Friends, I had a great time with you all, but unfortunately, I have to go. I have to say goodbye to you."
Deadpool looked at them reluctantly.
This place was really good. Everyone was sweet-talkers, good at what they did, and had many ideas. It felt like home here.
But compared to the temptation of going home, it was still a little short.
Everyone was stunned.
This lunatic is leaving.
We can be free.
No one spoke, fearing that the lunatic would stay. Their expectant gazes turned to Qinuo, urging him to take him away quickly.
"This lunatic is the one you sent in to deal with me."
A Deadpool walked out, still covered in dried blood.
"Hmm... who are you?"
Qinuo asked, puzzled.
The Deadpool in front of him took off his mask, revealing his signature green hair.
"Joker, why aren't you laughing? My apologies, without that iconic laugh, I truly wouldn't know who you are."
Qinuo looked at Joker's slumped face and knew that Deadpool had completed his mission well.
Joker's eyes burned with fury, then he suddenly laughed.
"Hahahaha, if I'm not mistaken, you can't kill me, so you sent him. You want to destroy my mind, but you don't dare to do it yourself, hahahaha."
After such a long time, Joker wasn't without gains. During this period, Deadpool specifically targeted him, only harassing others normally, not allowing them to leave.
(I originally wanted to write about the King of Kandak, what Batman specifically did, why he left Gotham with peace of mind, the reactions from around the World, Flash's appearance, the Suicide Squad, the Justice Society's appearance, Hulu's process of gaining Shazam Power, the changes in Kandak, and the changes in Gotham after Batman returned.
There's so much more.
But thinking about it, the timeline would be stretched too long. If I wrote it that way, the Battle of New York would probably be pushed past chapter 250. I feel like I'm a 250, and I don't want to write it hastily, so I can only cancel it. Otherwise, I'll be criticized for 'watering down' the story again, although I've been criticized many times already, and I'm used to it.
I also feel it. In other novels, the Battle of New York usually appears within a hundred chapters. I can only say that writing about two Worlds requires mutual consideration, it's deadly!
To be honest, I feel this section is a bit poorly written.
Ultimately, it's because my writing skills are too poor, DC's information is too messy, and the origin stories of Shazam and Black Adam are inconsistent. This is where Marvel does better.
Also, when I was writing this part, I was criticized for 'watering down' the story by many people, and the data wasn't good, which affected me somewhat. In the end, I decided to finish the Marvel Battle of New York first, then write DC properly.
Furthermore, in DC, whenever something happens, Superman, Batman, and Flash always save the day, while others seem optional.
Unlike Marvel, where Black Widow's sacrifice, Iron Man's sacrifice, Ant-Man's time travel, everyone has their own role, and most are indispensable, especially in the grand finale, with Doctor Strange teleporting people for the big battle.
Everyone has their own purpose.
This might be why DC can't surpass Marvel.
Also, I'd like to add that I personally really like DC, otherwise I wouldn't be writing a DC novel. There's no intention to challenge it.)
