Orion opened his door, stepped inside, and glanced once more at the timetable now hovering silently above his desk.
Tomorrow at nine.
He let it fade.
Then lay down, closed his eyes, and let sleep take him.
Orion woke up before dawn, the faint bluish light seeping through his curtains. His eyes opened instantly, his body slipping into routine without hesitation. He rolled out of bed, stretched once, and headed out for his morning exercise.
