"Mr. Han… wake up."
Seo-jun slowly opened his eyes, blinking at the woman in a neat office suit standing beside his desk. She held a file in her hands, her expression polite but curious.
"Oh—sorry," Seo muttered, sitting up straighter. "I didn't even realize when I fell asleep."
She chuckled softly. "You must be exhausted."
She placed the file on the desk and tapped it gently. "This is the investment proposal. It just needs your signature."
Seo-jun reached for the pen, still half-dazed, and signed where she pointed. She hesitated for a moment, then said with a shy smile, "I was wondering… are you free tonight?"
Seo-jun looked at her, a flicker of surprise in his eyes. "I'm sorry. I have some work tonight," he replied, his tone apologetic but firm.
Her smile wavered for a second. "Ah… I see. No worries then."
She turned and walked away, her heels clicking softly against the floor. As soon as she left, Seo loosened his tie with a sigh and mumbled under his breath, "She's an Omega…"
Then, leaning back in his chair, he whispered to himself, "Good thing I'm a dormant Omega… the two Alphas who run this place would lose their minds if they knew."
His mind wandered briefly—Do Hyun, with his cocky grin and casual dominance… and Cha Min-jae, the terrifyingly intense Alpha CEO with eyes like steel.
Seo stood up, ready to call it a day. "Time to go home," he muttered.
But as he stepped out of the office, he nearly collided with someone.
"You're leaving?" Min-jae asked, his tall figure casting a long shadow in the hallway.
"Yes, boss," Seo replied quickly.
Min-jae stared at him for a moment longer than necessary before nodding. "Alright, then."
The Alpha turned and walked away.
Seo-jun watched him go, heart beating a little faster. Why did he ask like that? he wondered.
Seo Jun approached his car, frowning as he noticed something off. Just as he was about to unlock the door, a knock on the passenger window startled him.
Do Hyun grinned through the glass.
"Hey, Seo Jun. Did you know your tire's flat?"
"What?!"
Seo Jun stepped out, walking to the rear. Sure enough, the back tire was completely deflated. He cursed under his breath.
"Who the hell did this...?" he muttered.
Do Hyun leaned casually against the hood. "Come on, I'll drop you off."
"No need," Seo Jun snapped, trying to keep his cool.
But before he could react, Do Hyun grabbed his wrist with a firm grip and guided him toward another sleek black car nearby.
"Don't be stubborn. It's not safe this late."
The bodyguard at the wheel opened the door as if it were routine.
Seo Jun glared, but got in the back seat without a word. Do Hyun slid in next to him, grinning as the car pulled smoothly out of the lot.
Seo-jun walked across the parking lot and slid into the driver's seat of his car, starting the engine with a sigh. Just as he was about to pull out, a knock sounded on the window beside him.
He turned his head, frowning slightly. Do-hyun stood there, grinning playfully.
"Hey, Seo-jun," Do-hyun said through the glass, "did you know your rear tire's flat?"
"What?!" Seo-jun exclaimed, quickly opening the door and stepping out to inspect it. Sure enough, the rear tire was completely deflated.
His brows furrowed in frustration. Who the hell did this? he thought angrily.
"I'll drop you off," Do-hyun offered casually.
Seo-jun gave him a side glance. "No need. I'll figure it out."
But Do-hyun didn't back off. He reached out, grabbed Seo-jun's wrist, and led him toward his own sleek black car. The bodyguard in the front gave them a brief nod and started the engine. Seo-jun hesitated for a moment before sliding into the back seat, Do-hyun sitting right beside him.
The atmosphere in the car was oddly quiet. Seo-jun shifted uncomfortably in his seat, aware of Do-hyun's gaze on him.
Why is he staring at me like that? Seo-jun thought, feeling slightly tense.
"Where's your house?" the bodyguard asked from the front.
Seo-jun replied, "Just turn left at the Sweet Sheet Road."
The bodyguard nodded.
Do-hyun turned to him. "Why don't you just stay at my place for tonight?"
Seo-jun shook his head. "I can't."
"Why not?" Do-hyun asked, genuinely curious.
"I have someone waiting at home," Seo-jun replied vaguely.
Soon, the car pulled up in front of a quiet, modestly luxurious house. Seo-jun quickly stepped out.
"Thanks for the ride," he said without looking back.
Do-hyun leaned out the window, waving. "Goodnight, Seo-jun! Sleep well!"
Seo-jun didn't respond, just made his way up the path. As he opened the front door and stepped inside, he was immediately greeted by the sound of small feet pattering across the floor.
A little boy and girl ran toward him, wrapping their arms around his legs.
"Welcome home, Uncle!" they both chirped in unison.
Seo-jun smiled gently, ruffling their hair. "Hey, you two. Missed me?"
From deeper in the house, a woman emerged wearing a light apron. Her presence was elegant, calm, and commanding.
"Welcome home," she said with a warm but firm voice.

"Oh, hey" Seo-jun said, offering a small smile.
"Dinner's almost ready," Hye-mi said, returning his smile. "Go freshen up. And don't take forever."
"Yeah!" the kids chimed in. "After dinner, read us a story!"
Seo-jun chuckled. "Okay, okay. After dinner."
Hye-mi turned and walked back into the kitchen, her apron fluttering lightly behind her as the smell of home-cooked food filled the house.
