He screamed and begged for her to call it off, but as he stared into the black void he found himself in when he had walked into that gate.
He felt completely empty.
The spell rung in his ears, but like always he ignored it. He didn't care about his evaluation, he didn't care about anything right now. His eyes fluttered open as the pod he was in opened up. Steam flooded the room. He crawled out of it before glancing at the pod next to him, that being Cassie's. He then looked at the other empty pod which was Nephis's. A voice came from behind him, one that he couldn't block out.
'Where's Cassie?'
He gave no response.
She put her hand on his shoulder and spoke once more, her voice this time more firm.
'Sunny... where's Cassie?'
Walking out of her grip, he stared down at Cassie's pod. Her still face reflecting in the greenish tint of it. Then he raised his fist and brought it down on it, only to be stopped by Nephis.
This time she said nothing though.

There were slight changes in his runes but not many. Like always, his aspect didn't change or evolve, but he could feel that it was different. He also saw that the Awakened core from Auro has become one of a Master now.
'Mister Sunless, you're next!'
The nightmare evaluation specialist had called him in. How much should he tell her? Well, in order to complete his journey he would need a pretty good reputation...
'Good evening! First I'd like to thank you for—'
'Just cut to the chase.'
Her eyebrow twitched a little, but she continued on.
'Well... let's first start off with the most simple question. How many nightmare creatures did you kill? And don't think about lying, I have an aspect for that.'
She smiled at him. It was a fake smile, as if hoping to embarrass him.
'Uhh... well, a good estimate would probably be over a thousand, give or take.'
Most of those coming from the fruits on the soul tree he burnt down, so it wasn't really a lie.
'Hah! Do you think—!'
Her face went pale. He didn't waste time and spilt out all the great feats he had achieved while on that Forgotten Shore. By the time he had finished, she was as stiff as cardboard.
'I'll take my leave then.'
Walking out the door, he turned the hall only to see Nephis waiting for him. With a forced smile, he spoke.
'They were saving the best for last huh?'
She didn't respond back, only walking past him and entering the room.
He sighed, walking away. It wasn't that she was mad at him or anything. In fact, she hasn't said a word since she found out what had happened. The first thing she did was hug him and then stayed next to Cassie's pod for the rest of the night.
Still, he can't stop.
Time doesn't stop... the world doesn't stop.
So he can't either.
He had a lot to do after all, so stretching his arms behind his back, he slouched over and began to walk.
First goal: Sibling Reunion.

Sorry for the extremely short chapter 😭 I just didn't want to leave the last chapter on a cliff hanger so I wrote this real quick.
The reason why I did is because I won't be able to make another chapter for a week or a bit more than a week.
