"The sun is shining, and so am I!" He exclaimed while opening the HUD, looking at the huge amounts of gold awaiting him.

"Phew, I can buy one Game Boy an hour with that kind of money, but let's not start doing dumb shit," Gray muttered while opening the Shop and scrolling towards his system-integrated options.
[System-Integrated Map]
{LVL 2-3 Mile Radius} (300 gold)
{LVL 3-6 Mile Radius} (500 Gold)
{LVL 4-11 Mile Radius} (800 Gold)
{LVL 5-18 Mile Radius} (1200 Gold) -Special Unlock: Building & Landmark Identification-
"Level five and no threat detection...That building identification could come in handy if I wanna find people or a good place to build a base." Without thinking about it too much, Gray went ahead and bought the upgrades to level 5. Now, let me look at the clock's upgrades.
[System-Integrated Clock]
{LVL 2- Shows The Day Of The Week} (100 Gold)
{LVL 3- Shows The Month} (200 Gold)
{LVL 4-Full Date Format MM/DD/YYYY} (300 Gold)
{LVL 5-System Alarms (Only Heard By The User)} (500 Gold)
Okay, a bit of a letdown, but those alarms can come in handy, just set them up for when an upgrade is available, shit, maybe even set up alarms instead of oversleeping all the time, fuck it, I have the gold, so why not, might as well get that out of the way.
After getting both the map and clock to level 5, he noticed that a mini map appeared in his vision along with the time. Frowning, he concentrated on making them go away, and surprisingly, they did. "Not a bad thing, but it's distracting, maybe once I get threat detection, I'll put it on again."
Looking over at his remaining gold 2619...noticing his dead Game Boy to the side, he decided to get a power bank to charge it.
{Portable Battery Bank (5 Full Charges)} (200 Gold)
And finally, something that will help me along the road and when roaming around...
{Intermediate Marksmanship} (2000 Gold)
"Whoa, that feels nice." He said, feeling himself grow more experienced with any kind of firearm, now he felt he could shoot a zombie from 50 feet away without missing.
After the shopping spree, Gray was left with only 419 Gold. He got out of bed. Deciding to finally start his day, while grabbing the gun, he noticed it felt more familiar, as if he'd been shooting with it for years. If this is the intermediate level, the advanced is gonna give me a veteran's skills? Hopefully without any PTSD.
Grabbing the power bank, he put the Game Boy to charge as he headed downstairs for his usual routine. After 40 minutes, Gray was done with both the workout and the shower; he finally decided to eat before the roam. Good thing I saved those pizza slices, no spending on breakfast for me.
After being done eating took all his useful things in his backpack, finally opening the map before heading out, looking over at the whole area around him, he noticed a town up north called "Haralson" which had a few grocery stores, and further north was an even bigger town or city called "Senoia".
Before opening the door, Gray seemed to remember something and quickly scrolled through the shop for it.
{Glock 19 Silencer} (400 Gold)
Seeing that around an hour had passed since his shopping spree, he bought it on the spot: "No need to risk attracting more zombies than necessary." He said while grabbing the gun and putting the fire axe in his inventory, with everything of value to him already on his person, he walked out the back door.
Haralson looks to be around 3 miles north. If I keep following this highway, it will take me like an hour to an hour and a half, depending on if I find zombies or anything on the way, fuck it, I've got the skills now and a silencer if anything bad happens, then it was meant to.
Walking along the highway, he kept his ears and eyes peeled for any kind of movement or sound. After walking for around 40 minutes, he finally spotted his first zombie wandering around the street, debating for a few seconds he decided to test the silencer and see if it the buy was worth it, he knew tv shows and movies made it super exaggerated on how they worked but an option to do less noise was a win in his books.
Taking a steady stance, he took a shot, and the zombie fell lifelessly to the ground, whistling a surprise. Gray got closer and noticed a neat headshot. "It was still loud but not as bad as the first shots I took, still, that was around 35 feet for a headshot, not bad." He kept walking while maintaining some sort of alertness to his step.
After a while, he finally noticed the town up ahead, but what he saw made him stop: zombies everywhere, even flipped cars here and there, making a mental note that if he bought the earthroamer, he would probably fit if he drove with care, but the zombies were going to make that difficult.
Once I start making enough gold, getting a better weapon with more rounds, at least I can probably clean those up and just drive out.
Making his way back to his house, he stopped at a few houses to loot for any kind of food or anything useful. After getting lucky and finding some big wire cutters, he put them in his backpack, "These could come in handy, maybe breaking a lock or some fence."
After getting home, Gray sat in his room looking at the haul for today: a few canned goods and a bag of chips, deciding to put them away for now. He noticed his Game Boy charged to full again. After thinking it over for a while, he decided to buy a super mario bros cartridge, setting him back 50 gold.
Before he started playing, he pulled the notebook out and started doing the math to set up an alarm for the next multiplier and upgrade. Looking at the accumulated gold after the roam, he noticed he had enough for the next multiplier. Looking over at his clock, it read 12:47 PM. Without much thought, he decided to go ahead and get it.

So if my math is correct at high noon tomorrow, the new upgrade should be purchasable. Let's do it, no more spending on random shit. I've got food and water, and I have entertainment that should be doable.
Setting up the alarm, and with that out of the way, Gray finally started playing his video game til the end of the day.
