The Gammas stepped forward, each radiating a distinct presence that set them apart like pieces of an unshakable wall.
Matins' pale green eyes seemed to glow faintly under the light, his steady gaze scanning the pack as though measuring their worth. Jason, the tallest among them, stood with a blue wrap tied neatly around his forehead, his sky-blue eyes sharp and unwavering. Marina, average in height but striking in her own way, possessed large, jet-black pupils that seemed to drink in everything they saw. Maxwell carried the air of an artist his hair tied back neatly like Jasper's, each strand seemingly arranged with care.
Then came Redwill broad-shouldered, strikingly handsome, his deep blue eyes set against a body carved from pure strength. Beside him stood Tengen, equally muscular but with the warm-toned skin of native India, his posture both regal and dangerous.
"These are the Gammas," Mr. Davidson announced with pride. "They follow my son the Alpha's instructions, and they are the strongest wolves we have at present."
The room seemed to shrink under their collective presence.
Tengen approached Bella first, his gaze unwavering. "I like your eye," he said simply.
Bella blinked, caught off guard. "Uh… thanks," she replied, her voice tight.
From where he stood, Tyler felt his blood heat an instinctive growl forming low in his chest.
Maxwell moved to Jasper with a faint smile. "Your hair looks like mine. I'm sure you like to play games too."
"Uh… no, I don't really play games," Jasper said, awkwardly scratching his neck.
Marina stepped toward Henry, tilting his head slightly. "I like your hair."
"My… hair?" Henry asked, touching it as though seeing it for the first time. "Thanks, I guess, but I don't think there's anything to like about it."
Jason strode up to James, his towering frame casting a shadow. "You look tough. I'm sure you're the leader of the pack."
James smirked faintly. "No, I'm not."
Across the room, Dana and Sharon stood quietly, their eyes fixed on Sophia in silent appraisal.
Finally, Redwill's gaze met Tyler's. The two didn't speak just locked eyes in a brief but heavy moment, each silently measuring the other.
"Alright, if all the formalities are done," Mr. Davidson's voice cut through the tension, "can we get to the topic of the day?"
There was a sudden silence.
There has been vampire activities in the town Mugen, the town is known for breeding potions and sorcery to treat and cure diseases, but as we all know evil thrives in the heart of men, most people use their gifts to oppress other's. Vampires have been reported by a family well known to me to be making the magicians become vampires so as to enhance the magicians sorcery with dark magic in a bid to find a way to walk under the sun, Mr Davidson said.
"But the town has now turned to a blood festival as people go missing every day with no whereabouts", he continued. The newborns are seeking blood every time and killing with no regrets, the vampires who bit them them are watching with happy minds as the vampire rips humans apart.
Not under my watch would that continue to happen so I have decided, five of you here would be heading to Mugen, the mission is simple take out the vampire restore peace and order in the community and come back home, Mr Davidson said with an air of finality.
So master, redwill said his voice very calm as he spoke. Who would be going on this mission?
Sophia and Tyler pack has shown real courage up on till now, I want to trust the boys with this mission he said. Tyler, james, Henry and Jasper I believe you are ready for this, you would follow Tengen to Mugen and take out the vampire, I hope you can learn from him, this is not any sort of normal occurrence for a gamma to follow a pack, maximise the opportunity. Mr Davidson said calmly with a smile spread across his face.
Tengen bowed his head, "I won't fail you sir"
I would do my best to make sure I bring back every one safe no matter what.
I know you would Tengen, Mr Davidson said which is why am trusting you on this.
Sophia and Bella you would be here for a while until your pack members get back here, don't worry everything would be sorted out, you would be with Dana and Sharon in the meantime.
"Thank you sir" Henry said I hope this mission is carried out effectively.
I hope the same thing too mr Davidson said, now go and prepare because you are all heading out this night, I wish you all the best.
He was pushed by Rachel, while Ricky followed behind. The gammas went off while the pack headed back into the apartment.
So how is tengen like Jasper asked as he crouched next to his bed, is he smart or rude or kind or ...
He has a great personality, Henry said cutting him off. Every one who knows him, loves him. He is fierce too, I heard when he was 15, he took down two vampires single handedly. He became the leader of a pack at 17 and after several heroics he was admitted as a gamma.
He sure sounds strong Tyler said, it would be good working with a gamma, his thoughts finally rested on redwill. Henry do you by any chance know anything about the tall guy with deep blue eyes.
No one knows much about redwill Henry replied, just some word that he was bullied in school, expelled from school for a crime he didn't commit and his brother the only family he had was killed by a vampire.
So sad James said his hands resting on his chin.
Why you asking Tyler did he tell you anything?Jasper asked staring at him.
Tyler changed his posture, no I just wanted to know he replied.
Immediately Sophia and Bella came inside, Bella ran to meet Tyler. Tyler she called am gonna miss you she said eyes soft, and all of you she continued looking at the boys.
I would be fine bella, he looked at Sophia, we would all be fine, just you both take care of yourselves.
We will Tyler Bella replied, she ran to Jasper don't die on me Jasper she said as she hugged him.
Jasper hugged her back, moved to tears.I wouldn't Bella he said.
Sophia stood watching Tyler, Tyler looked at her but she removed her gaze as she left the room. Tyler watched Henry and James joining in the hug, he smiled. So far every thing was going well, but would it stay that way, he had to face reality it wouldn't.
