They say love is soft.
But no one talks about the kind that bleeds and still holds on.
We loved like fools, laughed like soulmates, and fought like fire.
And some days… we burned everything in between.
Most of our fights were never because we stopped loving..
They happened because we loved too much, and didn't know how to say it right.
I was busy, life had me by the throat.
Work, pressure, the weight of the world.
And she waited.
She waited in quiet hours, unread messages, and unsent thoughts.
Until one day, she couldn't anymore.
She wanted to leave.
And I?
I didn't stop her.
Because sometimes when you love someone deeply,
you let them go if you believe they deserve better.
I just told her :-
"Take care of yourself."
"Don't skip meals again."
"Drink water, please."
"Be kind to yourself, even if I can't be there to remind you."
Because even when I was ready to lose her,
I wasn't ready to stop loving her.
Sometimes, love is staying.
Other times, love is letting go
but never forgetting how to hold them in your heart.
But she didn't leave.
Not really.
She stayed.
Through the hurt, the doubt, the chaos.
She stayed through the storms I brought into her calm.
> "She didn't promise forever.
She promised to try.
And that made all the difference."
We weren't perfect —
But we were real.
Real enough to survive all the things that tried to tear us apart.
And when the dust settled after every storm,
we still found each other.
A little bruised.
A little shaken.
But still us.
---
Love isn't about avoiding the fights.
It's about finding the hand you want to hold even after the worst ones.
That's what made it love.
Not the soft moments,
But the choice to stay. Again. And again. And again.
Even when it hurt.
Even when we broke.
Even when we almost didn't make it
And still choose to be with each other.
Thats what Love is
Because love, real love, isn't about feeling butterflies every day.
It's about being there when the butterflies are gone.
It's about choosing the same eyes even when they look away.
It's about staying -
even when it's easier to leave.
