Another day passed by, just as Cloyd and the rest were waiting for breakfast, they were greeted by this announcement.
Cloyd laughs out loud, he knows that their territory is guaranteed to obtain this reward.
With a combatant in their group, he might be able to kill the tree on the underground.
"Finally, Lucy, you're the luckiest amongst us, you go use this."
The person that received the recruitment reward was him since he was the main lord.
Lucy then rips the glowing golden paper apart and a blinding light flashes in front of them.
A person with green hair and a slim body appears.
With long ears, Aria and Cloyd instantly knows what race she was.

"Bianca at your service!" She bows to Lucy.
Lucy panicked but Cloyd gestures to her that it's okay.
"It is an honor for us to have you here, Bianca, I am Cloyd, this is my sisters, Lucy, Aria and Scarlet."
He warmly welcome her.
With a deadpan face, she nods her head.
Cloyd becomes a bit embarrassed but his sisters becomes angry.
"What the hell!? Why are you so snobbish!? We're your lords and he's the main lord of this territory!"
The first one to lash out was Scarlet.
"Your lordship, please calm down, elves are just like that because they believe males are inferior to them."
Lucky quickly explains.
"Oh? That's interesting, can you tell me more about them?"
Cloyd's interest was piqued.
"Of course my Lord but I only know information about them that is widely known."
"I don't mind."
He is not disappointed but in fact was happy to know that there are knowledge that his subjects knows about other races in this realm.
"There is a legend that is related to the elf race, they are not like us which comes from worlds devoured by the realm, they were created in this realm."
"How rude! We are not created but born!"
The elf interrupted causing Cloyd to frown.
Seeing his expression, Lucy feels guilty, she's the one that summoned the elf but she's afraid of her, she suffers from bullying in the past and was manipulated by her mother.
This is the reason for her cowardly personality, she was only beginning to enjoy her life again after Cloyd joins their family.
Unfortunately for her, they were thrown in this godforsaken place.
"I'm sorry."
Lucky becomes afraid.
"Continue."
Cloyd's authoritative voice descends, causing a flicker in the eyes of the elf.
"It's said that their world failed the test and all of her inhabitants were killed, just like our world."
The expression of the four turns grim.
There's a high chance that their fate might be the same.
"In a desperate attempt to survive, their world's consciousness used it's last strength to posses a tree."
"The World Tree, our sacred mother, we were born from it's fruit, we were born to copy the image of our mother hence we were all born as her daughters."
The elf once again interrupted but this time, she was not as rude as before.
"This realm is truly full of surprises but since this is the case, why are you here? You are a native of this world, only those that failed the test are sent to the realm's seal."
The expression of the elf becomes a bit hesitant.
"Te-tell us!"
Lucy shouted as she quickly runs to her brother's embrace.
The elf was stunned but it seems that she is quite obedient to Lucy.
"The Mother Tree was destroyed by the evil beings, some of my race managed to escape but the majority weren't so lucky."
Cloyd's eyes flashes, he wants to ask something but decided to withhold since he can see the sorrow in the face of the elf.
"The Mother Tree loves us and uses her chance of survival to send us to the seal of this realm, wishing for us to revive our civilization."
Cloyd sighs.
Even after surviving the test, in the end the world consciousness fell in the danger of this realm.
He turns to Lucky.
"What truly are the evil beasts and why are they so different from normal beasts?"
Just as Lucky was about to explain, the elf once again starts speaking.
"Evil beats is just a term used by the natives of this realm to describe those that were corrupted by the chaos energy."
"Chaos energy?"
"It's the opposite of world energy, it was supposed to be balance but the outer divine beings waged war against multiple worlds causing the lawful, neutral and evil gods to fight back."
Divine beings! Gods!
The four were shocked.
Gods were just a concept in their world, their existence were just myths but in this realm beings like them actually exists.
"Beings corrupted by chaos will exhibit the desire to destroy everything, the more they kill, the stronger they become."
"Then, this doesn't really differentiate them between us, we kill other beings too and gains experience along the way."
He thought and stated.
The girls agreed with his words.
"No, you are wrong, we're different because evil beings thrive in the existence of destruction, if they cause enough damage, they can inflict the land and more chaos beings would spawn."
'This still seems to be similar to us lords.'
He keeps his thought inside his heart.
"Chaos only sought destruction and those corrupted by it also follow it's will. It preys on worlds, slowly increasing it's influence."
"This realm is the last bastion for worlds, if they can't survive here, then, they won't survive the outer gods."
"Gods, huh? That's too far for the current me, right now, what I only want is to survive after our protection period is over."
He mutters on himself.
"Thank you, Bianca, your words help me learn more about this realm."
She nods her head while still looking at Lucy.
'It seems that Lucy's trait and Lord Talent is the reason for her high loyalty, that's fine by me.'
"I will be bringing you to hunt beasts, do you have any weapon with you?"
He asks, Bianca was following him silently.
She takes her bow and shows it to him.

He's confused, just as he was about to use (Evolution) to check what kind of creatures they are, Bianca snarls.
"Chaos beasts!"
Without even his order, she pulls the string of her bow.
"Wait!"
Grabbing her hand, he glares at her, causing her to stop.
"They won't be able to pass through the barrier, so don't worry, right now, what I want to know is that, why did the evil beasts around our territory changed this much!?"
All the evil beasts has now transformed into these hideous things, he doesn't know if they can still be eaten or not.
"Evil beasts is the lowest version of corrupted beings, if there are multiple evil beasts in the area, then, there's a chance that there's a chaos source nearby."
"Chaos source? What is that?"
"It is similar to a Lord's territory but doesn't need resources to grow, as long more creatures gets corrupted and sacrificed, it will constantly grow stronger."
He takes a harsh breath, looking at the large number of deranged and hideous looking beasts, he feels a sense of dread.
"Can they be eaten?"
The elf looks at him strangely.
"No evil beasts can be eaten but chaos beasts cannot, they do drop blood essence that can help make the body grow stronger."
Desire flashes on Cloyd's eyes.
"That's all I need to know, you can use this chance to level up, I might not be able to accompany through the whole day as I need to hunt for our territory."
She looks at him and nodded, her loyalty actually increases surprising him.
Some beasts seems to had fused as they have two heads.
When he tried to attack them, they would dodge and bite the bone that he wields.
He was startled but fortunately, he reacted quickly.
"They're no longer going berserk, this is going to be quite difficult than expected."
Three arrows flies towards his target, once they hit it, they explode into a bright flash.
