Few minutes later I saw jinna coming in with a doctor behind her.... Still so caring as even, I wish she was my mother instead of that witch.
In my life many things has gone from right to wrong and I don't know why or what caused it.
First it was us being poor, then my father joining the mafia crew..... But it was a little bit understandable let's just say that he did it for us not to die in poverty, then there was my beloved sister Mia, being sold out, the marriage proposal and now me in the hospital.... Where did it all go wrong.
"doctor what happened to me.... I need explanations please" I tried to inquire what was wrong with me from the doctor.
"sir Chris you went into a coma you are just waking up after few tries.... You lost consciousness one too many times." the doctor said.
"doc how long was I out for and what was the cause." I asked.
What the doctor said what's shocking and mind blowing "sir Chris how can I tell you this.... Hammm, you have been out for 2 weeks and the cause of this was.....".
"wait... Wait..... Wait, what 2 weeks. Have been out for 2 f*cking weeks" I said in shock as I say it out.
"calm down sir the cause of it in your file after series of test, we found out that your brain has gone serious stress and your heart has been pumping more than usual..... We also found out from your maid that you have been struggling with your family and work I think that it was the cause of it" the doctor said with a look of sympathy.
"so I have been going through all these and it accumulated..." I said in a low tone trying to figure out something.
"and it finally break you down" the doctor finished my words.....
The cause of this... The cause of me being in the hospital right now is because of my family, the proposal, Mia living me and work. Oh my God..... "doc how much is the bill" I asked.
The doctor smiled and said "it has been covered already".
"covered by whom... I don't know anyone other than my family but by the way you spoke, am sure that it wasn't them that paid, so who did" I asked trying to inquire from the doctor.
The doctor said while laughing lightly "he said he was doing his job and refused to tell us the name of his boss so now we refer to him as the 'Mystery Man'."
"I which I could meet this Mystery Man and thanked him myself... He is an helper" I said with appreciation. "by the way do you know who carried me here by any chance" I asked because of the voice that kept ringing in my head when I was unconscious.
"he too didn't drop a name sir Chris" he said with a sincere voice.
That's strange who on earth will be willing to help me and not take something in return and the most strangest thing is that, he didn't drop a name or any information to not get to him.
I turned to jinna and asked her "jinna, did you see the person that brought me here by any chance".
"no master Chris... Not at all" she said with a straight face and a voice that I have always know her to have.
This Mystery Man has saved my life and I will forever be grateful to him. If only I knew who he was.....
*********POV : NATE'S VIEW ***********
After I called the boss and reported that situation of what had happened I drove Chris's car with him at the back to an hospital that I knew was close to movie industry....
It was a long.... Long drive but I still made it through my years of driving and my skills to invade traffics.
When I got to the entrance of the hospital, I came down and carried Chris out while screaming for emergency.
"I need a nurse or doctor what ever... Just get your f*cking a*s here now.... I've got an emergency and it is urgent, he needs help" I shouted at the top of my lungs.
Luck being on our side nurses and doctors rushed down to help with an emergency bed... And took him to a private sector after I told him his name...
Few moments later the doctor came out to me to get his full details and to ask that the payment be made..... Immediately that they have series of tests he has to undergo, this is bad real bad.... What will boss do now..... Ahhh f*ck.
I called the boss and his response was not sounding good "get the f*cking doctor on the Phone Nate." I did as told. "doc, my boss wants to speak with you about the payment". I told the doc.
"hello... Sir, am the doctor in charge of the young man that was rushed in here" he said to my boss with a prideful voice.
"you better take care of my fiancee doc, and the bills will be on me... If he dies you will see your maker good day doc...." my boss said as he threatened the doctor.
After hearing the threat the doctor was shaken and said "I will do everything in my power to make sure things turn out fine".
"boss send the money to me and I will take care of the rest here" I said to my boss over the phone.
"alright Nate take care of things over there, am counting on you" he said with a vulnerable voice..... I have never heard him speak or sound this way once, not even when his mother died or he lost his girlfriend in a car accident..... He must have love him so much to care.
"alright boss" I said with determination.... I will make sure everything is OK.
Later I did the transaction for the bills and told the doctor that if Chris results were out that I will be the first to see it and he agreed.
I went to the doctor's office at 8:54pm when he said that the results were out and hand's over the case file to me.
"calm down sir... the cause of it in his file after series of test, we found out that his brain has under went serious stress and his heart has been pumping more than usual..... We also found out that his body couldn't handle it anymore because it has been going through all these and it has been accumulating them for quite some time and it finally break down..... When he least expected it." the doctor said in a sympathetic way.
" so he wouldn't die or.... "I asked trying to figure out if anything else what to happen to Chris.
" No .... No not at all he is alive only that it will take some time for him to wake up so he will be here for the time being " the doctor told me reassuringly.
" OK doc.... If anything happens or he wakes up, call me and update me on his recent condition" I said to him.
With that I took my live out of the hospital to make sure no one saw me there.
I made my way to a cafe, I ordered a light coffee with sugar and it was served..... At least that was quick.
I got on the line with my boss and told him what the doctor had said about Chris condition and health issues..... I also told him how I told the doctor to take care of him and update me on his recent condition too.
"you've done well Nate and I hope he's in a good hand... But stay around and keep an eye on him yourself OK, I don't want anything to happen to him again..... got it" he asked me. And I replied "yes sir..." the call ended and I could finally breath..
**********POV : JINNA'S VIEW ************
I was cleaning the house when the family phone rang and it rang several times now but on one was willing to pick up so I decided to.....
"director battson.... What does he want now" I muttered to myself.
"hello.. Director battson.. Good day, how may I help you sir?" I asked with a light voice.
"it's Chris...." he said with a worried tone "sir Chris.... What about him.... Has he not gotten to the indust..."i was saying before he cut me off.
" he's at the hospital!!!!!!"he said with tension on his voice.... Now I see what made his voice sound worried at first.
"what happened.... You know what tell me the address of the hospital, I will pack a few things and go there" I said quickly grabbing a pen and journal to write the address down. "thank you sir I will be ending the call" and so I ended the call..... While making my way to master Chris room to pick some few clothes and made my way to the door and left the environment immediately.
I arrived at the hospital as fast as I could, went up to the canter and asked the room master Chris was admitted to.
"room 4 by the eastern side, a private room" the nurse sitting there told me.
"thank you, I will get going now...." I said as I made my way to the eastern side to look for room 4. And I saw it ' room 4 ' boldly written on the entrance so I went in to see Sir Chris on the bed looking lifeless their as he takes in the drips with his heart rating normally with every calm peep...
What could have caused this.... Ever since sir Chris was a kid he had few ill a couple of times but not to this rate so what could have made him be at the hospital and lying on the bed with his eyes closed looking lifeless, Will he ever wake up.
2 weeks later.....
"jinna... Jinna" I heard my name from someone that sounds like sir Chris.
On hearing my name i woke up from the chair I was sitting before falling asleep and I rushed towards him "sir Chris, you're awake.... Thank goodness let me get the doctor, hold on" i said as i ran out of the room.
"nurse.... Doc....he's awake" I voiced out... Soon enough the doctor in charge of sir Chris came rushing to me as we made our way to the private room we're sir Chris was.
He talked with the doctor about his health and what caused him to have fallen in to coma.... He even seemed surprised that he has been asleep for 2 weeks.
But then again I was asked a question that even I didn't know.
He turned to me and asked "jinna, did you see the person that brought me here by any chance".
"no master Chris... Not at all" i said with a straight face and a voice that he has ever known.
********POV : NATE'S VIEW ************
I got an update from time to time on the young man's health and it was all the same that he hasn't awakened from the coma he entered.
I always give my feedback to boss to keep him posted on the events.
But today was different I got a call from the doc and he said with a vibrant voice.
"sir, the patient has opened his eyes and he's fine" he said.
"alright doc.... Thank you for your help" I appreciated him as I ended the call and make a quick call to boss.
"hello.... Nate any news on my little lamb." he asked still worried.
"sir... He is awake now and his in full health that's what the doctor said to me right now before I called you to tell you" I told him.
I could hear him screaming in joy before he remembered that I was on the line with him..... (clears his throat) " thank you keep watching him and keep me updated OK" he gave a command.
"yes sir..." I said as the call ended.... He seems happy I bet he would be dancing right now... Hahahaha.
Things turned out great this time.
