An old sun rises in a new world every day for every human, starting with a question: Will it be a good day or a bad day? But it is you who will decide how today will be.
Today is the day Ken is going to be discharged from the hospital, and after this, a brand new path awaits him Mr. Shiroum's home. Ken is going to meet Mr. shiroum today because of the offer he made yesterday, in which he promised Ken for food to eat and a place to live.

[After some time, outside the building]
"Where should I go? I told him I'd meet him today, but I don't even know where he lives... Haa... He gave me some kind of paper. Let's see... Yeah, here it is.
Even after getting the address, he still isn't able to go because he doesn't know where any of these places are, so he decides to ask someone for directions.
"Sir, could you tell me where this place is?"

It was Mei, with her father. And to Ken, that voice felt like someone had lit a lamp in the darkness.Mei walked up to him and asked, "Where have you been all this time?" Mr.shiroum then apologized to Ken, saying, "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have asked you to come alone, knowing you're new to the city."
"No, no, sir—you don't have to apologize for anything. In fact, I should be the one thanking you for doing so much for someone you only met a couple of days ago."
Then Mr. Shiroum told him that he was there to take him home, and asked Mei to take Ken to the car. Upon hearing the word car, Ken lit up with excitement. But when Mei led him to it and he finally saw the vehicle, his excitement turned into terror because to him, it looked like a monster.
"[With fear in his voice] What the hell is that doing here?"
"You mean this thing? It's a car we'll go home in it. Mister, don't tell me you don't know what a car is?"
Ken told Mei that where he comes from, they don't have cars—so he doesn't know much about them.
Then Mr. Shiroum arrived, and they all got into the car to head toward the place where he lived. And then, in the car...

They finally arrived at their destination—Mr.Shiroum's home. Ken was under a lot of pressure; it was his first time going to someone else's house. Sensing his uneasiness, Mr. Shiroum gently said,"You don't have to feel nervous about anything, Ken. Come on in."
Later, Ken stepped inside the house ,but just before he entered, Mei reminded him, "Please take off your shoes before coming in."Once inside, Mr. Shiroum said, "Ken, go ahead and take a shower. Mei will show you the way to the bathroom and give you some clothes to wear. After that, meet me here so we can talk about your job".
[ken inside bathroom]
"Haa... it's been so long. This water feels amazing like I'm being rewarded for all that sweat....Alright, let's get back. And these clothes feel great, too."
Ken returned to the living room, where Mr.Shiroum was waiting. He looked at Ken and asked, "So, what can you do?" Ken stood there silently, unsure of how to respond. Seeing this, Mr. Shiroum continued, "If you don't have any objections, you can start as a waiter at my café."
"I might not be perfect, but I'll give it everything I've got."
"Alright then. Now that you know your job, you can go and get some rest. Mei, show him to his room."
"Come, big brother I'll show you the room".
She led him to the room, and once inside, Mei said, "If you need anything, just ask me." Ken looked around, then asked, "Do only you and your dad live here?"
"No, my big sister lives with us too, but she's on a school trip for two days. She'll be back by tomorrow night."
