"Just as you ordered. For two."
The driver who was meant to be the one in charge of steering the boat uttered as he stepped to the side, his head bowed with respect.
Dorian was standing at the very front of the boat, Yahoshi right next to him, refusing to let go of his hand.
"Thank you." Dorian uttered to the driver, then he looked at Yahoshi, taking hold of one of her hands.
"A-Are you not ready to get in?" he asked.
She had been holding him for so long that he was beginning to wonder if she even intended on doing anything else.
Yahoshi was silent for a while, her eyes scanning the expanse of the land.
From what she could see, there were multiple other couples who had gotten on boats and were riding through the beautiful sights of fireflies and the lanterns lit across the surface of the water.
"I find it hard to believe that you thought about all this yourself. You were never the romantic type." She paused. "Did having a wife influence you so much?"
