A day later, Kagami's clone returned, having successfully escorted Samui from the distant borders of the Land of Fire back to Konoha. When Kagami saw her in person, his eyes lit up with genuine appreciation.
Samui's figure was the epitome of graceful power, her curves exquisite and her long legs and slender waist a sight that commanded attention. Her face was delicate, with large, star-bright eyes under perfectly curved brows. She was almost unreal and something straight out of a cosplay. Kagami took in her appearance with a satisfied smile, a quiet admiration in his heart.
"Well done," he praised the clone, his voice laced with satisfaction. "This mission was accomplished brilliantly."
Though the clones were extensions of his own will, they possessed independent thought. Kagami believed in giving credit where it was due. The clone nodded slightly before dissolving in a shimmer of light. The moment it vanished, Kagami felt a wave of fatigue wash over him—the final feedback from the clone's exertions. But thanks to his immense power and tenacious will, the feeling was fleeting, and he quickly regained his full energy.
He then turned his gaze to Samui, who had been standing silently beside him, her face flushed the color of a peach blossom. A gentle smile touched his lips. "Come, my dear Miss Samui. I will take you to meet your sisters. I am sure they will be very happy to see you."
Kagami was not afraid that Samui would threaten him in anyway since His Yang body had some kind of hypnotic powerful effect on these women where they won't ever think of harming anyone related to him. Even if she tried to harm anyone she won't be able to anyway.
With that, Kagami led the way, and Samui, lowering her head shyly, followed him into the heart of the village. The moment she had seen the real Kagami, she had been completely captivated by the overwhelming aura of power and charisma he exuded. Having already formed a favorable impression of his clone, she now fell completely under the spell of the original. She had come here prepared for this, and so his words did not surprise her.
Uchiha Rinne and the other women showed no animosity toward the newcomer. Instead, they happily welcomed Samui, pulling her aside to begin their conversation. Seeing this, Samui, who had been understandably nervous, quickly relaxed despite being in a completey different village. Kagami, observing the harmonious scene, did not disturb them, choosing instead to find a quiet spot to bask in the sun.
Time passed quickly. Three days later, at Kagami's request, the ninjas of Konoha's great clans, working day and night, finally completed the grand palace he had commissioned. Kagami moved in immediately with his wives. Of course, he showed some mercy to Sasuke, the former young patriarch of the Uchiha, allocating him a small servant's room. As for Naruto, who remained in a deep, unresponsive autistic state along with the Nine-Tails, Kagami had run out of patience. His various experiments had yielded no results.
So, he had Naruto transferred to the Konoha hospital. He had not yet found a way to extract the Ashura chakra from the boy's body, and he couldn't simply let him starve to death. He had no time to care for the boy himself; a nurse would suffice.
With the palace complete, Kagami notified all the clans to prepare for a grand wedding. Uchiha Rinne had married him when he was a destitute nobody, and he had been unable to give her the ceremony she deserved. Now that he had the world at his feet, he would give her the grandest wedding the world had ever seen. As his first woman, his feelings for her were special.
"Thank you, my love," Rinne cried, hugging him tightly, her voice thick with emotion.
Seeing this, Kurenai, Anko, and Samui were filled with a deep envy. They knew Rinne's place was special—she had been with him from the beginning—so their envy was not tainted with jealousy. Still, a pang of disappointment was inevitable. They too, had become his women, and they longed for the ceremony that would solidify their status.
Seeing the look on their faces, Kagami smiled. He told them directly that he had also prepared a grand wedding for each of them. They were his women now, and he would not hold back when it was their turn but today it was Rinnes day. His words moved all three to tears.
Just as the preparations for the weddings were getting underway, Shikaku Nara rushed to the palace, his face pale with panic. "Kagami-sama! Something terrible has happened! Kakashi was attacked, and his Sharingan was taken!" He was terrified that Kagami would blame them for their incompetence, for allowing an enemy to attack a high-ranking shinobi and steal a Sharingan of the Uchiha clan. He was covered in a cold sweat and didn't dare to meet Kagami's eyes.
But upon hearing his words, Kagami's expression didn't change. He simply said, his voice calm, "I understand. It's just an eye. Let it go."
He had already guessed it was Obito's doing. He knew Shikaku and the others stood no chance against him, so he had no intention of blaming them. It was, in the grand scheme of things, a trivial matter. It was just one Sharingan. If he wanted it back, he would simply take it from Obito's corpse when the time was right. Sooner or later, he would deal with the masked man.
"Ah...???"
Kagami's casual response surprised Shikaku. He had been prepared for a furious outburst, but Kagami showed no signs of anger. This did not fit the profile he had built of Konoha's new, ruthless leader. For this, Shikaku felt a strange sense of gratitude.
Kagami knew what Shikaku was thinking, but he didn't care. His lack of anger wasn't due to sympathy; he simply saw no point in blaming his subordinates for a failure that was beyond their control. A qualified leader could not rule through oppression alone. You needed to give them occasional rewards, a bit of grace to balance the fear. It was a philosophy of control he had been developing lately. In his eyes, Konoha was now an extension of his own clan, and his "family" needed to be managed with both the stick and the carrot. His thinking had evolved beyond simple conquest.
He just waved his hand. "Alright, go get Kakashi a new eye transplanted. You are dismissed."
Shikaku left, his expression one of dazed relief, looking back every few steps as if to make sure it wasn't a dream.
As he watched him leave, Kagami frowned slightly. "It seems I need to find the time to pay a visit to the Akatsuki."
Uchiha Itachi was still at large, and Kagami felt a pressing need to bring the beast back to Konoha for a final reckoning. He also wanted to check on the Akatsuki's progress in collecting the Tailed Beasts. And then there was Konan, one of the great beauties of the ninja world. He was very interested in making her acquaintance.
But there was no need to rush. He would wait until after the weddings, after he had finished mastering Dust Release and Magnet Release. First things first.
