[You have received "Garp's Armament Haki" — now distributing...]
As the system's voice fell, a brilliant beam of light descended from the sky and surged into Han Feng's body.
Moments later, the light faded, leaving behind a pulsing, overwhelming force within him.
Feeling the immense power coursing through his body, Han Feng smiled with satisfaction.
"As expected of top-tier Armament Haki."
He was now confident that, with a full-force punch, he could blow up a mountain. While it still wasn't enough to stand against one of the Seven Archons, it was more than enough to protect himself for now.
He opened his system panel once more:
[Host: Han Feng]
[Available Manga: One Piece – East Blue Arc, Cardcaptor Sakura, Digimon Adventure Season 1, Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions!, Yu-Gi-Oh!]
[Task 1: Receive 10 customers to draw 1 manga. Progress: 0/10 | Draws Available: 0]
[Task 2: Receive 30 total customers to unlock an exclusive reward. Progress: 6/30]
"Only six customers today… Still a long way to go. The road ahead is tough."
Han Feng sighed lightly.
But with Venti's help, tomorrow's traffic should improve significantly.
At this rate, completing Task 2 shouldn't take too long either.
"I wonder what the exclusive reward will be…"
Whatever it was, Han Feng was certain it wouldn't be ordinary.
"It's already so late? Guess I'll go out to eat tonight."
Noticing how deep into the evening it was, Han Feng decided not to cook and to treat himself instead. He closed the shop and stepped out of the alley.
Despite having been in this world for several days, he hadn't yet taken time to explore. This was a good chance.
Now that he had Garp's Armament Haki, he wasn't worried about anyone trying to cause him trouble.
As for the safety of the manga store, he didn't need to worry at all. First, the shop's location was already secluded with little foot traffic. Second, the manga shop was a system reward with special protection. Without his permission, no one could enter the store while he was away.
That gave Han Feng peace of mind.
"Where should I go…?"
After a moment of thought, he decided to check out the Good Hunter restaurant. Thanks to his familiarity from the game, he had a certain fondness for that place.
Elsewhere, at the Goth Grand Hotel—
In a luxurious room, a nervous Fatui member knelt on the floor, facing a mature, powerful-looking woman.
She had flowing golden hair, a violet mask on her face, and piercing ice-blue eyes that were now cold and unreadable.
She was none other than the Fatui Harbinger—Signora.
"Explain. What happened today?"
Originally, Anastasia and the others had gone out on her orders to make contact with Mondstadt's leadership. If they couldn't resolve the Stormterror crisis, then the Fatui would take over. With Snezhnaya's power, they had every reason to believe they could.
If things went perfectly, they might even find a trace of the Anemo Archon. That would give Signora the opportunity to complete her mission.
But instead of bringing back Mondstadt's defense blueprints, Anastasia's team had returned unconscious—carried back on stretchers.
Though Signora's face remained calm, her mind was already racing.
Someone had dared to challenge the Fatui?
Was it Mondstadt's leadership?
If so, why act now of all times?
Was it a moment of impulsive anger—or were they relying on something?
Seeing Anastasia and the others still unconscious, she turned to the only one still standing: the Fatui member named Luke.
With tension in every breath, Luke recounted the full story—every detail, not daring to leave anything out.
Only then did Signora fully grasp what had happened.
Anastasia had provoked the Acting Grand Master, and Jean had responded with force.
"So this was a warning... directed at me."
Signora narrowed her eyes.
She was intrigued—why had Jean suddenly changed her stance? Up to now, Mondstadt had tolerated everything. Even when the Fatui took over the Goth Grand Hotel, there had been no resistance.
"Could it have been an order from the Anemo Archon?"
The thought flashed through her mind, only to be dismissed instantly.
If Barbatos actually cared about ruling,
then five hundred years ago, Mondstadt wouldn't have suffered such devastating losses.
At the memory, a flash of disgust crossed her eyes. She shook her head slightly and kept thinking.
Luke swallowed nervously, as if suddenly remembering something. He quickly added, "Ah, right—the Acting Grand Master showed a lot of respect toward the young shopkeeper."
"Bookstore, young shopkeeper, respectful attitude…"
Signora murmured these words to herself, repeating them over and over.
She had a feeling there was a connection between them.
Otherwise, why would an Acting Grand Master sneak off to a secluded bookstore amidst the chaos and internal strife?
She wasn't as short-sighted as Anastasia, who assumed Jean was simply slacking off.
If Jean truly behaved so respectfully, there had to be a deeper reason behind it.
There was definitely something going on at that bookstore.
"Relief Bookstore, huh? Interesting."
A rare smile tugged at the corners of Signora's lips—stunning yet chilling.
She was now intrigued by this bookstore.
