[Shadow Pocket]
[Skill Description]
— Your shadow is your pocket. You can store anything the size of your shadow. However, you can store unlimited undead regardless of their size.
— Your shadow is unique. It won't increase or decrease in size regardless of the light falling on it. However, the shadow seen by others will remain the same. It will only change for you.
— Level 1. The size of the shadow depends on its level. The level of this increases with Inheritance level.
"Nice! I needed this skill!" Anvil glanced at his shadow. It was as big as him. He dropped the dagger on the shadow.
Instead of landing on the ground, it sank in the shadow.
"Woah. How do I take it out?" He stretched his hands on the shadow, thinking of the dagger.
A part of the shadow moved up, taking out the dagger from inside, handing it to his hand.
Anvil's eyes gleamed in happiness. He threw the dagger back.
"Now how do I go up?" He looked at the hole above. It was very far away.
"Idea!" He looked at the squishy part of the ground. Activating the curse effect, he stepped on the squishy part carefully.
Then, pushing with all his might, he stretched the squishy part of the ground down.
As he released it with force, the squishy part pushed up, throwing him high. However, the force wasn't enough to reach the hole.
He descended and increased the speed of the descent. As he pressed on the squishy part of the ground, he increased the force again.
The ground was stretched to the brim, and he was flung with immense force.
He escaped right out of the chest and collided with the wall. While the ring's effect had increased his defense, the collision still hurt.
He fell to the ground.
"Ow ow ow! My head. My back." He rubbed his forehead. It was swollen, but nothing serious had happened.
He stood and stretched his back as it had hit the ground.
Crack!
"Ah…" As his back cracked, satisfaction hit him.
He looked around for his undead.
They were standing in front of the chest immobilized as corpses. As he reached them, they immediately moved and stood before him.
"Now, time to hide you guys." As he said that and was about to command them to step on his shadow, the shadow moved by itself.
It turned huge and, like a wave, engulfed the two undead. The shadow engulfed them, and as it receded, the undead disappeared from their spot.
"It was amazing but a little dramatic."
Anvil walked to the boss room and then headed for the exit.
The exit led him outside. He had arrived at the dungeon's back. There were walls surrounding it, but Anvil simply jumped off and escaped from there.
Not escape, but leave.
He arrived at the slums.
However, suddenly he heard something.
Boom! Boom!
It was an explosion.
Then chaos engulfed.
[Alert! Alert! A dungeon break has occurred in the Slum Area 3. Everyone is warned to rush to the nearest shelter.]
An announcement rang. Then all remaining persons in the slums hurriedly escaped from their houses.
Some were eating; they left without cleaning their hands. Some carried children and hurried.
As everyone ran, there was bound to be something wrong.
Some children fell, and some adults too. The passersby didn't care. They wished to reach the shelter as soon as possible.
The children and adults were stepped on.
Anvil hurried there and helped them up. He then tried to keep people moving in an orderly manner.
It didn't succeed, but no further humans fell.
From the dungeon, miners ran with all their strength, covered in sweat.
The soldiers surrounded the dungeon's entrance. With their Mana Guns, they were ready to face the monster.
From inside came a monster of large size.
An elephant's size.
Dungeon, regardless of their ranks, summoned random monsters of equivalent rank.
This time, an elephant-like monster had emerged.
Its body was twice as big as a normal elephant. It was pale, with two tusks and many small jagged sharp teeth.
The legs were very thick and had very thick hides. While Mana bullets pierced their skin, they didn't cause significant harm.
Dark bluish blood gushed from their wounds.

Their sound was loud and elephant-like, but their speed wasn't. They rushed towards the soldiers at such speed that it would make one doubt their life.

With one whip from their tusk, soldiers were thrown off.

Scary snapping sounds echoed, and soldiers, terrified, backed away as they shot Mana bullets indiscriminately.
While their big size was an easier target, the shots hitting them weren't fatal. And each of the elephant-like monster's hits was very fatal.
Anvil reached the dungeon.
He spotted more than ten elephant-like monsters. On their heads was text floating brightly.
[Elephanose]
"You there, stop! Are you freaking blind? Do you wish to die so eagerly?!! Can't you see those monsters?! Leave! Gooooo!" a soldier warned Anvil.
Anvil took his dagger out and said, "I am a [Hunter]."
"[Hunter]!" The soldier's eyes nearly popped.
Anvil ignored him and felt the ring's effect coursing through his body. He felt the ring's energy depleting rapidly. He might be able to use the ring's effect for an hour at most.
Still, he couldn't summon all the monsters now. He had no wish to show the undead to the world right now.
However, he could use the monsters to replenish the ring's negative energy.
"Everyone move!" Anvil's shout was heard by all soldiers.
Anvil rushed to the monster.
Slash!
A single slash from the dagger created a large cut in its body. He grabbed the [Elephanose] tusk and jumped on its head.
He kicked the on the head so hard, its skull fractured.
He could feel something entering the ring rapidly.
The [Elephanose] lay on the ground as its body turned thinner.
It didn't take more than a minute for the life force to be completely absorbed from its body.
Other [Elephanose] rushed to help their ally. However, Anvil moved with such speed that they couldn't detect him at all.
Swish! Slash! Ssss!
The slicing sounds were very loud. [Elephanose] necks were sliced. However, not a single drop of blood fell to the ground.
All the blood floated to the dagger and was absorbed by it. As it absorbed the blood, the redness of the dagger increased, and it glowed brightly.
One after another, [Elephanose] fell.
Anvil cleared the scene in 5 minutes. More [Elephanose] were taking their time to exit the dungeon, but Anvil was waiting for them eagerly.
While waiting, he looked at the bunch of corpses and licked his lips.
"Let me suck you all dry."
