Once, I visited a field of sunflowers.
And there…
I saw the most beautiful spectacle I have ever witnessed.
A vast, golden sea stretched endlessly—
A field of yellow, as bright as gold,
Dancing side to side in the gentle breeze,
Basking under the warmth of the radiant sun.
Above, a pure blue sky,
No clouds,
No sound but the wind.
That day…
I was in heaven.
In that endless field of bright gold,
I saw them, the kindest people I have ever met.
They were sketching a painting of the sun near a hill,
Right there in the middle of the field.
And there…
I met her.
Small. Blonde. Petite. Fair-skinned.
Light blue eyes,
And a smile unlike any other.
To this day,
Whenever I feel lost or sad,
I remember her smile and say to myself
"Yesterday was always great,
Today will always be great,
And tomorrow will be great too.
So keep smiling,
Because the brightest sunflower is still blooming,
And it will continue to bloom,
For as long as the radiant sun shines upon this beautiful world."
This memory still lives deep inside me,
To this day, I can still remember the scent of that heaven, that I unfortunately cannot visit again...
Warm, earthy, free, and kind....
There is also that smile, more bright than the sun.
Maybe another time I will talk about it.
