Chapter 23 - Visions of history

Jin props up his feet, beginning to read, "Long, long ago, before the gods we know today came to be, existed a single world. Dragon Spirits inhabited this world with their distinct Dragons flying alongside them."

The world spins around Jin. Jin looks up, and the room is gone. Replaced by a white room.

Jin looked around. Nothing but him, the chair, and the desk remained around him.

The white room begins shifting. Jin begins to fall into the ground.

Jin lands on his feet. He looks up to see a bustling city similar to the capital he was previously in with the Dragon Spirits.

Suddenly, a full-sized Dragon flies right above Jin. Jin stumbles forward, avoiding the Dragon.

Jin looks around, seeing the city around him. Jin then notices all the people around him.

These people, are they all Dragon Spirits?

The world around Jin shifts again, forming an abyss split in half by black and white. Each side had a single Dragon.

The dark side had a huge black dragon who looked to be formed from the very shadows. The opposite had a white dragon radiating light itself.

A voice boomed through Jin's head as the black dragon introduced himself as The Black Dragon.

A higher-pitched voice pierced in, introducing itself as the White Dragon.

Jin watches as the Dragons build an Elf and a Human from dust, then split them into millions.

Jin falls through the fabric of reality once again and lands in what looks to be a battlefield.

Jin looks around, panting and eyes wide.

Jin spots a group of shadows walking forward toward him.

Are those… people? They look like me.

That one has my face… but he's smiling while the world burns. Am I tied to this?

Suddenly, Jin sees the man in the middle put his hands up, and all the people around him explode.

The man in the middle begins laughing hysterically. Another booming voice comes through Jin's head, introducing the man as the Grand Dragon.

Jin shifts repeatedly, seeing this man kill and kill over and over again.

Jin's eyes are wide, his mouth gaping open.

Was I born to become this monster? Is this my future?

Jin watches as a crowned figure leads his people into ruin.

Jin shifts again to find a warrior in Draogn armor saying, "The Grand Dragon has abandoned the Dragon Order. He has abandoned the church."

Jin watches as this man enters the throne room and puts his arms out to both sides.

A huge flash of light emits from the man, the Grand Dragon's face angry and full of terror.

In an instant, Jin is standing in a golden abyss with a dark floor in front of him stands the Grand Dragon stands.

The Grand Dragon screams, "He sacrificed his soul to trap me? I'm stuck in a man's soul!"

The Grand Dragon makes a sinister smile. He then spits, "Then I'll make all their power have to be dragged directly from me. I will be the most important in this society."

Jin watches as two humans and an elf arrive in this space. All of them claim to be gods.

Everyone but the Grand Dragon suddenly disappeared.

Jin gets shifted back to a city as he watches hundreds of Dragons get sick, and some even die.

Jin shifts again in front of a King. This king suddenly says, "That tyrant has restricted us from pulling from him. This won't stop us; he can't inflict power upon divine children."

Jin turns his head, the world shifting again. Jin sees the two dragons from previously chained and locked to the ground.

This is evil. Beyond evil.

Jin turns again, seeing himself. Around this version of him flows a small set of words.

Jin reads the words allowed, "The one who will banish the Grand Dragon to hell."

Jin backs away, tripping and falling into another space.

Jin sees a younger version of his grandfather. His Grandfather is facing a window when he says, "The world will one day burn."

Jin feels someone tap on his shoulder.

Jin wipes around, eyes wide in shock.

Jin suddenly jolts awake.

What the hell is wrong with these people?
