Jin walks down a lengthy hall, counting all the numbers as he goes along.
Jin eventually stops at the end of the hall. He takes his keys and unlocks the door, pushing it open.
Inside was a cozy bed in the center of the room. Directly across the room from the door was a desk and a small bookshelf.
A rug sat behind the desk with a little seating area on the other side of the bed.
Jin strides over to the desk, placing down his suitcase before walking to the seating area.
Jin sighs and says, "I get this is conventional for a medieval style, but I'm not interested."
Jin moves all the seating to the opposite wall.
He pushes the bed into the corner with a grunt. "Better. At least now I don't feel like a prisoner in a dollhouse."
Jin resets the seating from before between the desk area and the bed.
Jin walks over and opens the suitcase, and moves towards the closet that is at the foot of the bed, where a Bathroom connects.
Jin hangs up all the clothes he brought and places the rest along the top storage shelf in the closet.
Jin closes the door and walks to the desk.
"I'm not sure what to do next."
Jin turns to the door.
"I could always go explore the school."
Jin flung the door open and headed down the stairs. A few students paused mid-step, their eyes locking on him.
Jin makes it to the main floor, and an entire crowd of students stands before him.
All the students instantly stop and stare, breaking a path through.
Jin begins walking through the crowd as he sees a girl with glasses standing towards the back, looking directly at her feet..
Jin points and says, "Hey, you got any idea where the library is?"
She looks up in shock and nods her head, not moving another muscle.
Jin raises an eyebrow and, with a sigh, spits, "Relax, I'm not gonna eat you. Just point me to the library."
The girl steps forward timidly, whispering, "It's this way."
A small eruption of whispers takes the crowd as Jin follows this girl towards the library.
The two get down the hall past the crowd. Jin blurts out, "So why are you so quiet? Am I really that scary?"
The girl timidly says, "We don't act this way because we are scared. You're new! And your species is seen as a myth."
"Well, where I grew up, we thought Elves and demons to be mere myths. But I was very wrong." Jin says in a slightly sarcastic tone.
The girl stops and turns to Jin. She then says in a timid, almost scared voice, "According to some fair tales, Dragon Spirits can pass information telepathically from anywhere. Is that true?"
Jin blinked, caught off guard. Telepathy? What kind of fantasy crap is this?.
Jin says in a confused tone, "I have no idea. All I can say is no one has ever used telepathy on me."
The girl gives a small sigh of relief, followed by, "Oh, thank the gods."
"I'm Kuroryu Jin. What's your name?" Jin says, stretching out a hand for a handshake.
"Oh, I'm Montoga Kyrie. Nice to formally meet you," Says the girl, timidly shaking Jin's hand.
Jin looks up to see a small sign for the library.
"Bingo. Alright, Kyrie. Catch you later."
Jin walks away, not another word being said, straight for the library.
Jin enters the Library. The library was huge, containing three floors.
The main floor had bookshelves radiating from a central circular point, with a wider hall extending to each wall.
The second and third floors were full floors, besides a circular hole coming down the center.
Jin walks to the center counter, and an older woman is sitting reading.
"Excuse me, ma'am, I need books on Dragon Mythology. Do you know where I can find that?"
The lady slowly looks up. She locks eyes with Jin, her eyes widening in surprise.
She stutters slightly and says, "Dragon Spirits would be the back left corner on the third floor."
Jin turns and walks up two flights of stairs.
After a short time wandering to the back left corner, Jin finds a book called "Original Dragon Myths".
Jin takes the book and plops down at a nearby desk along the wall.
Jin opens the book, flips through a few pages, and starts reading.
