Chapter 82: Even a God Gets Triggered After Taking So Much Grief
At first glance, anyone who saw Foster would be stunned, assuming Du Wa had arrived with incredible speed, and in person. But a closer look revealed that something was off.
"This person doesn't seem to be Du Wa, nor is she Thor! What's going on? Who is this person?"
"Rumor has it that when Du Wa was fighting in Jotunheim, his subordinate Reynolds also lifted Mjolnir and successfully defeated Laufey, the King of the Frost Giants, but this person doesn't look like Reynolds either..."
"Yes, although this person also has long hair, her figure looks rather slim, not like a muscular brute..."
The few who were familiar with the properties of Mjolnir immediately felt their scalps tingle.
Mjolnir was notoriously picky. Out of the billions of people on the planet, was there even one in a hundred million who could lift it? Yet this very same picky hammer was now being lifted by one person after another in such a short period.
They had thought it was outrageous enough that Du Wa could grant the same ability to different people by continuously swapping hosts for his Xenomorph larva. They never expected that even Mjolnir, a divine artifact recorded by humanity, would now begin to change masters so frequently.
When did Thors start popping up one after another? How many has it been already?
"Investigate, quickly! This person is a woman, right? Go and find out, I need to know this Female Thor's true identity!"
"Actually, there's no need to investigate. We can be certain that this new Female Thor is one of Du Wa's people, because I saw her fly out of Weyland Tower."
"Just like when Sentry went to stop Magneto, flying out of the building so crudely and heading straight for the battlefield?"
"So, if my eyes aren't deceiving me, Du Wa has quietly created another Thor? How did he do it? In his hands, gods are like mass-produced assembly line products, appearing in a never-ending stream!"
It didn't take long for people to sort out the connections, and they felt a sense of resignation. From the very first, Reynolds, to Laufey, and now to this Female Thor, Du Wa's every move always brought pleasant surprises to the majority and incomprehensible fright to the very few who harbored ill intentions.
From the perspective of an ordinary person, during every major event, it was unclear whether Du Wa was acting out of a sense of justice or had other motives. But in his actions, at least, Du Wa was indeed on the most dangerous front line, always preferring to eliminate the source of a disaster at the earliest opportunity. To ordinary people, this was undoubtedly the act of a guardian deity. It was no wonder Du Wa's popularity was so high on the internet, and his Xenomorphs were so sought after.
But from the perspective of certain individuals, who speculated on Du Wa's motives from a darker point of view, his constant barrage of new moves was simply unbearable. Even if Du Wa quelled the disaster, they would still have to face an even stronger Du Wa and his Super Legion afterward.
"Du Wa seizes every turmoil as an opportunity, drawing nutrients from the crisis to grow stronger."
This was a matter that caused those who coveted Du Wa's power to lament to the extreme.
For example, right now. Look, Du Wa had casually sent out a new Thor, who crossed a great distance in an extremely short time and brought her hammer down hard on the head of this Black Dragon.
Bang! Bang! Bang-bang!
Amidst endless thunder, dark clouds thickened in the sky. All anyone could see was the Female Thor brandishing the hammer in her hand. Each time she raised it high, it was as if she were gathering all the lightning on the planet onto that conspicuous hammer, before smashing it heavily into the giant dragon's head.
Once, twice, three times. Every heavy blow caused the Black Dragon unbearable pain. Amidst ear-piercing roars, its massive body trembled violently, with large chunks of black matter constantly flaking off.
The reactions of others who saw this—be it joy, shock, or dread—mattered little.
But when Loki emerged onto the surface from the collapsed underground base, he simply looked up and saw a Thor hammering a giant dragon, and he immediately felt his worldview shatter.
"Who is this woman? Why is Mjolnir in her hands? No, I should be asking, on what grounds can this woman of unknown origin lift Mjolnir?!"
Loki had originally believed that his temperament had been greatly tempered, and he wouldn't be subject to violent emotional fluctuations due to external events. But seeing Mjolnir, which had once been a symbol of a deity's qualification, being casually held by a woman he had never seen before, who could unleash such terrifying attacks, he still couldn't quite keep his composure.
His first thought was that Du Wa had once again transferred the Xenomorph larva with Thor's bloodline, implanting it into this strange woman's chest.
But on second thought, that wasn't right.
Thor's bloodline alone was not enough to lift Mjolnir; one also needed a pure heart.
He only needed to recall a few things to understand. After Du Wa obtained Mjolnir, he could lift it. When confronting Laufey, he first transferred the Xenomorph larva with Thor's bloodline into Reynolds's body, and only then did he use some unknown means to transfer his own soul consciousness into Reynolds, which was why Reynolds could also lift Mjolnir.
But now? Loki carefully sensed, using every method at his disposal, but he couldn't detect Du Wa's consciousness in this woman.
"Could it be that this woman really lifted Mjolnir on her own? To think that such a person exists in Midgard, someone who can become a Thor on their own?!" Loki's composure was on the verge of shattering; after all, even he couldn't lift the hammer.
What left Loki even more dumbfounded was his discovery that the power this Female Thor displayed when using Mjolnir was actually stronger than Thor's.
The terrifying thunderous power brewed with each swing and heavy blow far surpassed that of Thor when he had once wielded Mjolnir.
And this was only because this Female Thor had just recently started wielding Mjolnir. Loki was absolutely convinced that if this woman were given more time to truly unearth more of the hammer's power, she would likely display even greater strength.
It was outrageous, utterly fucking outrageous. Loki couldn't figure it out no matter how hard he thought. Where did Du Wa find such a talent?
Counting them up, this should be the fourth Thor.
"This woman is even stronger than Thor. The Thor from a thousand years ago could defeat this giant dragon, so it goes without saying now. This woman will win."
Although a trace of unwillingness welled up in Loki's heart, his reason told him that this battle was already over. The worst-case scenario was that he would lose the Symbiote, a parasitic race that he believed was comparable to the Xenomorph. This was truly too depressing.
This failure made Loki's entire operation on Midgard look foolish.
Just as Loki and the others thought that the matter would soon be settled, and the giant dragon would be defeated and imprisoned by the Female Thor, a booming sound rang out.
The giant dragon began to struggle frantically. Immediately after, a terrifying mental fluctuation, far surpassing any before, erupted from its body. It radiated an ancient, evil, and maddening rage that could not be ignored. The will itself possessed an extremely powerful corrosive and infectious ability, spreading out wildly and covering everything in the vicinity.
Foster was also hit in the first instant. At such a close distance, it was unavoidable. Her originally resolute face suddenly showed a hint of daze as a host of terrifying, fragmented memories flooded her mind.
Flames, screams, a black planet, countless squirming Symbiotes, a mysterious longsword lost in an unknown star domain.
Foster was at a loss; she had never encountered a situation like this before. Just yesterday, she had been nothing more than an ordinary physicist.
Now, to have a massive amount of information in the form of fragmented images suddenly stuffed into her brain was already an unprecedented burden. Not to mention, this information was mixed with a strongly infectious, virus-like will. Foster couldn't react in time.
This was only possible because Foster was strong-willed. Had it been anyone else, they would have been instantly destroyed on the spot by the giant dragon's terrifying mental form.
"Foster, don't worry. I am with you. Always trust in your own mind. The opponent is not in its perfect form. Its overall strength is pathetically weak; it won't be able to finish you in an instant."
Du Wa's voice rang in Foster's brain. He was also helping Foster resist the mental fluctuation coming from the giant dragon.
While listening to Du Wa's words, Foster also heard a barrage of unintelligible mental language from the giant dragon. Her intuition told her that the other party seemed to be frantically cursing something, perhaps just grumbling?
"This giant dragon is very strange. Its consciousness feels incongruous with its body."
Foster's question was also the question Loki wanted to ask.
How had the black dragon, which was taken down by a single blow from Thor's hammer a thousand years ago, suddenly become so fierce? It was mainly this extraordinary mental attack; the sheer scale of it made even Loki's heart pound with fear. That deep, ancient, and dark will, however faint, was definitely not something an ordinary life form should possess.
"It seems there's more to this than meets the eye. But if this black dragon truly has a special origin and this level of conscious standing, how could it be... wait, I think I know."
Loki's eyes lit up. He remembered that when he had attacked this giant dragon with the Casket of Ancient Winters, a divine artifact capable of instantly freezing an entire world, the newly awakened dragon had quickly broken free.
But facing Foster's ferocious attacks, enduring the bombardment of countless bolts of divine lightning, the giant dragon seemed so passive, with large chunks of matter falling from its body.
"It fears lightning? It shouldn't be afraid of divine power, so... is it the high temperature in the lightning, or the sound?" Loki felt his guess was pretty much on the mark.
That was why this strange black dragon had been smashed into Midgard by Thor's hammer and lay there for a thousand years, only being released now due to his interference.
"Did Du Wa specifically send the Female Thor to deal with this black dragon? Is it really just a coincidence? Or does Du Wa know, just like I do, that this black dragon was defeated by Thor before?"
Loki subconsciously began to think from Du Wa's perspective. He had taken far too many creative beatings from Du Wa and was now habitually trying to copy his homework.
Du Wa, however, paid no mind to what Loki was thinking. As long as this trouble-making God of Mischief didn't cause him trouble or go mad enough to introduce some troublesome fellow from another world, Du Wa couldn't be bothered with him.
At least, that was how it would be until Odin died.
Du Wa's attention was now also focused on the Female Thor and the Symbiote giant dragon.
He wasn't too surprised that the Female Thor, who was even a bit stronger than Thor, could display such overwhelming power to suppress the giant dragon right from the start of the battle.
"I didn't expect this thing would actually be released by Loki... I suppose it's a lucky fluke. If I were Loki, once I learned of this thing's existence, I would also react quickly to see if there was a possibility of getting my hands on the Symbiotes."
Du Wa closely watched the black dragon's every move.
It could be said that he was the only person on this planet who knew the origin of this black dragon.
Knull, the God of the Symbiotes.
Strictly speaking, this black dragon's body was essentially a super-sized Symbiote, a creation of Knull.
And the mind within this black dragon was currently the soul consciousness that Knull had transferred into it.
A thousand years ago, Knull transferred his consciousness into this black dragon and began to roam around, accidentally straying into the range of the World Tree, where he was discovered and attacked by the belligerent Thor.
Normally, Knull feared no enemy. He was originally a deity born and nurtured in the darkness at the beginning of the universe's creation. He had been slumbering in the darkness until one day, he was awakened by the Celestials, who were creating stars everywhere in the galaxy. In a fit of rage, he casually pulled All-Black the Necrosword from the surrounding darkness and killed one of the Celestials.
Afterward, he continuously forged with this Necrosword, eventually creating the Symbiote race.
But because of the ubiquitous high temperatures and clanging noises during the forging process, the resulting Symbiote race had an extremely low resistance to flames, high temperatures, and loud noises.
However, the Knull who was powerful enough to fight any deity was only that strong when he was in his perfect form—that is, when his body and soul were fused as one—allowing him to challenge heaven and earth. Not like now, with the two separated.
Knull had temporarily abandoned his own body, choosing the Symbiote giant dragon as a vessel for his consciousness to wander the universe. As ill-luck would have it, he ran into the extremely belligerent Thor, a guy who was best at creating high temperatures and loud noises. After taking a hammer blow, he was done for.
"Judging by the timeline, Knull's body should have been imprisoned by the treacherous Symbiote race by now. His soul consciousness is trapped in this Symbiote black dragon, and he's been completely countered by two generations of Thors. It's no wonder he's so flustered and exasperated."
Du Wa watched the state of the battle. He saw the Female Thor and the Symbiote black dragon begin their second round.
The raging power of the thunder and lightning bombarded the black dragon, clashing with the power of the cosmic evil god, erupting in a fierce collision. As time went on, she was gradually gaining the upper hand.
The Female Thor was a natural counter to Symbiotes. Even if her opponent was a Symbiote possessing the consciousness of a deity, she could still put up an impressive fight.
The Symbiote black dragon, or rather, the evil god Knull, was about to go mad with rage.
As a mighty being who had risen to prominence by stepping on the corpse of a Celestial right from his debut, he was now suffering one setback after another in a tiny place like Earth. This was unacceptable to Knull.
But whether he could accept it or not was useless. He was now just a wisp of consciousness, with ninety-nine percent of his power stored in his body. And his body was currently sealed within the planet's core by a squirming black planet composed of countless Symbiotes.
"This creature is really strange..."
A trace of doubt appeared in Foster's eyes, along with an indescribable caution. Through her communication with Du Wa, this Female Thor gradually realized what she was facing.
And then she fought even harder.
Foster's current mentality was somewhat similar to that of Reynolds when he had just started out. Having suddenly obtained extraordinary power, she was in a state of extreme excitement, putting her all into every attack. She should have been exhausted from consuming so much power, but she soon discovered that more power would always erupt from within her, like a never-ending cycle.
The storm of divine power was still spreading. Heavy dark clouds had already covered a corner of the Earth, turning the nearby domain into a place covered by lightning, where no living soul should approach.
"Stark, what's the battle situation?" Captain America pressed his finger to his earpiece and asked loudly. None of them had the ability of flight and didn't dare get too close, lest their plane be struck by lightning.
"You're asking me? Captain, you should use your own eyes. Also, the fact that you and I can communicate without any obstruction already proves that I'm at a distance from the battlefield, which is why our conversation isn't affected by electromagnetic interference."
Tony immediately retorted, grumbling. He sometimes really felt that these teammates were dragging him down. He had already upgraded to the Mark 12, while every single one of his teammates was still stagnating.
The fact that he was too outstanding and didn't fit in with his teammates had become a source of annoyance for Tony, and it was gradually eroding what little patience he had left.
"If I were you, I'd be trying to find ways to improve my own strength, not hiding in the distance just asking, asking, asking!" Tony shouted. "Captain, didn't you get injected with the serum? Then find a way to get more, make yourself stronger, so you won't always be hiding in the rear asking questions the next time we face a supernatural enemy! Otherwise, I'd really suspect you're perfectly content just beating up a few common smugglers and drug dealers every few days."
On the plane, Captain America fell silent, lost in thought. Hawkeye and Black Widow's expressions turned ugly, but Dr. Banner actually laughed out loud.
"We've become the clowns again, haven't we? There's nothing wrong with that. I was a clown in your eyes from the beginning anyway."
"If you don't want to be a clown, then why did you join this team in the first place?" Hawkeye shot him a cold look.
"Ha, you think I joined because I wanted to? You people forced me to join! You searched the world for me. Maybe I shouldn't have wasted my time on you. If I had defected to Du Wa back then, would you still dare to force me? Would your S.H.I.E.L.D. dare to provoke someone like him?"
Dr. Banner used to think that people like Du Wa, who operated outside the bounds of order, were destroyers of peace and would be dealt with sooner or later, with no real future.
But now he had changed his mind, because when power and influence expanded to a certain extent, they would bring about a new order of their own. And with order, many problems would be solved.
"If I wasn't worried that those Xenomorphs couldn't withstand the Gamma Rays in Hulk's body and would be killed the instant they tried to parasitize me, I would have gone to him long ago! I don't believe I would end up like Abomination," Dr. Banner said with a cold laugh.
Among the people present, only he was filled with resentment and hatred. As he spoke, he grew angrier and angrier, and then began to turn into the Hulk.
"Oh, damn it, why at this time? We're on a plane! Clint, you shouldn't have provoked him," Black Widow complained. "Hold it in, big guy, you have to hold it in!"
Everyone present paled with fright. They immediately grabbed parachutes and jumped from the plane. If they didn't jump, they'd be done for. A hit from the Hulk would shatter their bones.
The performance of these Avengers made Fury utterly despair. He had to reflect: perhaps finding this group of people to form a hero team was the wrong choice from the very beginning? They were in complete disarray. The enemy hadn't even made a move, and they had already collapsed from within.
"Stark, I haven't seen you make a move from start to finish. Aren't you very confident in your armor? I've never seen just how strong the Mark 12 is," Fury asked.
"It's definitely stronger than you can imagine, but don't even think about it. Since Du Wa's people have already charged in and have a clear upper hand, almost beating that black dragon into a Lego toy, I have no interest in picking up someone else's leftovers. This joke of a superhero team has proven itself a failure through its actions. You can't blame me. You'd be impatient too if you were surrounded by a group of completely unreliable teammates. See, one of them is already pouncing at me."
With that, Tony looked up and saw the Hulk leap into the air, pouncing ferociously towards him.
Tony complained wildly in his mind as he created distance and began to bombard the Hulk.
The clumsy performance of this group was seen by many. The super-strong mobility and astonishing firepower displayed by the Mark 12 were truly eye-opening. Some knowledgeable people recognized that this suit of armor might have been mixed with Adamantium, which was why it could take several punches from the Hulk and remain unscathed.
"Stark's suit of armor is very strong. Even you would have some trouble dealing with him," Professor X said with a smile to Magneto on Krakoa Island.
Viewing the disaster from outside the perspective of humanity and world peace, Professor X's mood had eased considerably, and he became much more composed.
Magneto nodded, but then quickly shook his head. "That's right, it's indeed difficult for me to destroy Adamantium, but it's only difficult to destroy, not impossible to control. His armor is ultimately a piece of precise high-tech weaponry; it's impossible for it to be made entirely of Adamantium. I only need to destroy a few components in his armor, pull out a few wires, and I can take care of him."
Although the two said this, their eyes revealed a strong sense of amazement, because Tony's rate of progress was simply too fast. How long had it been, and he had already pushed forward to the Mark 12? And this was just the armor Tony had already revealed.
Professor X and Magneto had every reason to believe that Tony definitely had several other sets of special-purpose armor for different situations, such as a special anti-magnetic field armor.
Events proved their guess right. At Tony's command, a large suit of armor flew down from outer space. It was clearly designed to go head-to-head with the Hulk, and the two began an intense round of melee combat in an uninhabited area.
"This is probably the advantage of a high-IQ Superhero. The longer time goes on, the faster he can upgrade his technology, and the greater the advantage he accumulates," Professor X said.
"But no matter how great his advantage is, it's not as great as ours. We have already recruited so many skilled individuals to join our Mutant kingdom. The total population of our nation has reached seven thousand, and it will be even more in the future. Our country is developing in a good direction."
Although the vast majority of these seven thousand-plus Mutants were actually civilians who knew nothing about combat.
A deep sense of anticipation rarely seen before appeared in Magneto's eyes. This world was indeed very dangerous. One never knew when some strange and difficult character would pop up, like that strange black dragon being dealt with by the Female Thor.
But it didn't matter. They just needed to gradually relocate all the Mutants in the world who were willing to join them to Krakoa.
"What about Du Wa? What exactly is your plan?" Magneto suddenly said, bringing up a highly sensitive topic.
Professor X glanced at him and directly initiated mental communication with Magneto, as they both knew that Du Wa could monitor everything here through the Xenomorph larva.
"Du Wa is getting stronger and stronger. We've watched him grow from an ordinary citizen to what he is today. He even has more and more powerful individuals under him. To be frank, I think they might be even stronger than Jean Grey," Professor X's voice rang in Magneto's head.
Magneto remained silent. The thought of Reynolds, then this Female Thor, and the rumors from the Underground World that Du Wa had killed a Skyfather—given Du Wa's personality, to expend so much effort, it was highly likely it was to obtain a Skyfather Xenomorph.
And then there were a host of troublesome minions like Lady Deathstrike and the Abomination Xenomorph...
Du Wa had become an absolutely unignorable power on this planet.
"Let's discuss this issue at the council. Just like last time, the few of us council members will have a mental communication."
After some thought, this was the only suggestion Magneto could offer.
The two of them knew very well what the other was worried about. Once Du Wa's power was truly enough to ignore everything on this planet, would he then turn his attention to the Mutants to further expand his strength?
Against traditional human forces, the two of them believed that by gathering so many Mutants, they could put up a fight, or at the very least, self-preservation was more than enough.
But if a new group that held an overwhelming advantage, was highly aggressive, and just so happened to need a large number of high-quality hosts appeared in the world, then things would be hard to say.
An unbalanced world was extremely terrifying; the mere thought of it could make one anxious.
"We should still go find Destiny. Let's talk to her. She shouldn't remain detached from us, no matter what kind of future she has seen in her visions."
...
The moment Du Wa made his move, no one would doubt that he would achieve the final victory, even if he only sent out a subordinate who had never appeared before. The only difference was in what manner Du Wa would defeat his enemies.
Facts also proved this point. That black dragon was strong, but it looked extremely pathetic under the Female Thor's offensive. Its originally huge and burly body had a part of it stripped away with every heavy blow, so that the more it fought, the smaller and weaker it became.
Finally, under the gaze of countless eyes, this black dragon let out a roar. This time, everyone heard it clearly.
"Grendel."
The Female Thor's movements paused. At such a close distance, she keenly sensed that the consciousness now making this sound seemed somewhat different from the primary consciousness that had been controlling the black dragon before.
Then the black dragon fled.
"Don't even think about escaping! This is my first battle after becoming Thor!"
Foster, with a look of excitement, quickly swung her hammer and gave chase. She kept attacking as she chased, appearing exceptionally ferocious in the eyes of outsiders. Everyone who saw it drew a sharp breath, exclaiming at her savagery.
The Symbiote giant dragon didn't flee elsewhere but headed straight down, rushing towards the place where it had escaped. With one bite, it swallowed Loki into its belly and quickly fled towards outer space.
From the perspective of a God's consciousness, this act was exceptionally shameful. If word got out, Knull would no longer be able to hang around in the circle of Gods, having been hunted down by a group of mortals far inferior to him.
"What is this guy thinking? Does it want revenge on me? But that's just what I want. I was afraid you'd be beaten to death by that woman."
Loki sneered. Even though he was in the giant dragon's belly, his body was already surrounded by a large amount of black, viscous matter, but he wasn't flustered at all. He was looking forward to this outcome.
Just as Loki was pondering what magic to use to forcibly control this giant dragon and transform himself into a dominant entity with super-strong control like Du Wa...
A consciousness with an extremely oppressive feeling—though its total mass was tiny, its scale was as vast and boundless as the universe—suddenly detached from the black dragon's brain and appeared before Loki.
"@¥##%...!@#!"
This immeasurably vast consciousness said a few words to Loki, sounding very agitated.
Naturally, Loki still didn't understand, because this was the language of the Gods, extremely ancient, almost a way of expounding the rules of the world from the birth of the universe.
The consciousness spoke more and more urgently, finally erupting in a towering rage. It immediately controlled a large amount of Symbiote matter to attach to Loki's body, and its own consciousness also successfully landed on Loki through the Symbiote.
"Damn it, I understand. He is the true master of the Symbiote, a separate entity from the Symbiote giant dragon named Grendel... This guy is very similar to Du Wa; they can both transfer their consciousness!"
Loki's expression changed, and he tried to expel the Symbiote from his body, but in the next second, he stopped his movements. He quietly watched as this unknown consciousness forcibly drove his body, almost draining him in an instant, to open a spatial channel.
Spatial teleportation? Just like the Rainbow Bridge?
Loki's brow furrowed tightly. He suspected that a being who could punch through space in this manner was at least a Skyfather-level powerhouse. He clutched the Casket of Ancient Winters tightly, feeling the Symbiote rapidly strengthening him. And since that mysterious consciousness hadn't further invaded his soul, Loki already understood something.
"You want my help? Although I don't know who you are, you want me to risk helping an unknown person like you? What do I get? Don't give me any nonsense about sparing my life. Right now, it's you who needs my help, not me begging you not to kill me."
Feeling his strength growing at a rapid pace, a deep greed flashed in Loki's eyes.
Symbiotes were really good things, even exceeding his expectations. They could provide such a significant enhancement even to someone of his level, and perhaps he would become even stronger over time.
What if he could control more Symbiotes, or even control this consciousness before him, whether it was a deity or some other damn thing? What would that be like?
As Loki spoke, he did his utmost to control his thoughts, slowly bowing his head to show a willingness to cooperate. For the God of Lies, controlling his own mind, making himself generate the thoughts he should, in order to complete a deception—this was his signature skill.
Loki stepped into the spatial channel ahead. Without a doubt, this was the channel that this consciousness had managed to open using what little power it had left.
Almost at the instant he was swallowed by the teleportation portal, the surrounding Symbiote matter shuddered violently, and the entire giant dragon let out a terrible wail, falling from the sky.
It wasn't just the Female Thor who had acted; several Xenomorphs had also made their move, ensuring that this fellow would not escape Earth and disappear into the vastness of the universe.
"Hmm, Loki actually disappeared? A bit interesting. It seems that Knull, with no other options, begrudgingly chose Loki to be his representative in the reality universe so that he could escape."
Du Wa observed everything from a distance and immediately understood what had happened.
To be honest, it was rare to see a cosmic deity of Knull's level, one who was born at the dawn of creation, become so miserable, acting so rashly without considering the consequences.
But who could blame Knull for wanting to roam free? He just had to transfer his soul consciousness to a Symbiote giant dragon that was far weaker than his main body.
But it didn't matter. Knull's mind had never been quite right anyway. Du Wa wouldn't be too surprised by anything he did.
The Female Thor looked at the giant dragon that had fallen to the ground, its body now half its original size, and poked it with her hammer.
"What a strange creature. I can't even be sure if it's a creature in the traditional sense... It has no distinct internal organs with different functions. Its whole body is made of squirming black matter. If you casually tear off a piece, it can become a Symbiote?"
"Don't get caught up in that for now. No matter how difficult the problem, before us who are constantly advancing, it will eventually become nothing more than a gentle breeze. Now, Foster, bring Grendel back. I have a use for it," Du Wa issued a direct command.
Foster carried it out strictly. She grabbed the giant dragon's tail, feeling the slimy texture with a look of disgust. She also noticed that this black, viscous matter would instinctively try to spread towards her body, wanting to parasitize her.
*Crackle!*
After a jolt of lightning, the stuff immediately behaved itself.
