82. A Note on the Comments: Female Thor Lifting the Hammer Has Nothing to Do with Thor

After reading the chapter comments, I wanted to clarify that Female Thor lifting the hammer has absolutely nothing to do with Thor.
I thought my memory was wrong, so I went through the *Sin* event again. It clearly details the birth of the new Female Thor.
In the comic, Thor is tricked by Fury into doubting his own worthiness, and then he truly can't lift Mjolnir anymore. Afterward, an ailing Jane Foster senses the hammer and lifts it.
When Thor sensed this, he rushed over in a rage, calling Foster a despicable thief and trying to fight her.
In other words, the meeting between the two generations of Thor happened only after Foster had already become the new Thor. The idea that she needed Thor's permission to lift the hammer is completely false.
What's more, Thor wasn't even qualified to give his blessing to the new Female Thor. This is because, while they both wielded Mjolnir, the new Female Thor's power was far greater than his. Thor himself admitted this, saying that Mjolnir had never displayed such ferocious power in his own hands.
That really gave me a scare; I thought my memory was failing and that I'd written something wrong. Besides, this book's protagonist doesn't even start in Universe 199999.
