A young lazy voice sounded, the words flowing out in a very stretched and slow pace.
A 12 year old Zhao Chen was currently laying on his back on his small bed that was enough to encompass his small stature. His hands were behind his head as he looked at the ceiling with a thoughtful look.
A bizarre situation loomed over him, but since he already knew of it, he couldn't truly call it strange, yet it still stirred a strange, magical feeling deep in his heart.
Zhao Chen is someone who reincarnated into a different world which is where he is currently sitting in. His previous life ended due to some unknown reasons, but he could still remember the last thing he did, which is being the first to fall asleep at a sleep over.
When he died, he came face to face with an old man who said to be a god, and offered him a chance to reincarnate into another world with one wish, though Zhao Chen wasn't able to choose which world to reincarnate in as it was based on randomization.

It was a surprise for Zhao Chen to hear those three words. Even though it was couple of years back when he came across it, how could he ever forget the first ever novel he got to read and enjoy. He was literally a fanboy of the protagonist, since not many novels have the same type of unique mc as Zhao Feng.
Now moving on to sorting out his own identity. He got to know from this bodies memories, that is a normal kid with no parents since they are dead, who came from a side branch village of the Zhao Family Sect that is located in the Sun Feather City of the Azure Flower Continent.
It seems that he didn't live in the Green Leaf village from where Zhao Feng and the other Zhao girl which he forgot her name, came from. Zhao Chen was someone who came from another different small family branch.
In addition, every 5 years there would be 2 people recommended into the main sect, but it was different as only Zhao Chen was recommended alone which was strange. It seems that the god that sent him here arranged it to be like that which he had no opinions about it.
Being alone is much better than being accompanied by someone.
Now, Zhao Chen was waiting for the arrival of something since he didn't seem to get it when he first awakened.

Zhao Chen rubbed his chin with one hand as he looked at the things he got from the starter pack. He doesn't know if they were overpowered in some way, but they should be items that would help him to take his first step into this cultivation world.

The light devil fruit is an item derived from the one piece world. This devil fruit is a logia devil fruit that allows the person to be able to wield and become light itself, with the ability to be able to elementalize making himself completely intangible.
This item could be really over powered if it's in the hands of the right person. Since if, the user has a wild creative imagination, the potential to develop the light fruit is practically infinite.
For the Tai Chi Diagram, it's a small diagram that represents the unity of Yin and Yang. This allows the user to absorb both Yin and Yang without internal conflict.
Now onto the Sun-Moon cultivation method. It's a cultivation method that allows the user to absorb the natural energy of the sun and the moon. It's like cultivating light that never dies, sun by day, and moon by night, and it seems that the Tai Chi diagram correlates with this cultivation method.
Since the sun is of pure Yang, and the moon is of pure Yin, if someone were to try and absorb both yin and yang without proper foundation, it can cause irreversible internal damage, or worse, death. So this is where the Tai Chi diagram comes into play harmonizing both Yin and Yang to avoid such dangers.
Now for the photon core breathing technique. It's a breathing technique that correlates with the light devil fruit since this breathing method harnesses the internal light essence generated by the light devil fruit allowing to strengthen the foundation of a person which helps to increase the body strength, blood, and senses.
Moving to the kick boxing martial art. It's a modern martial art he was familiar with in his previous life which uses both variations of kicking and boxing. Though, Zhao Chen prefers to use kicks instead of punches but that doesn't mean that he won't master the martial art to the peak level.
Lastly, the fast learning speed talent that fused with him. As the name suggests, it's a talent that allows the person to able to learn something faster than what's normally possible, not too broken but still useful. Though, what's important is not only learning, but also having deep understanding.
As of now, what's useless to use is both the Sun-Moon cultivation technique, and the Tai Chi diagram since Zhao Chen has yet to access inner strength. Currently, he is at the first level of the Martial Learner, three levels away to reach the fourth level which would by then can one be considered to be a Martial Artist due to having access to inner strength.
So now Zhao Chen can only use the other things that could help him reach the fourth level which should be a breeze for him to do so.

He turned his body to sit at the edge of his bed, slightly raising his hand infront of him, a spherical small object appeared in the palm of his hand which shown with a golden origin light that slightly illuminated the dim room.
'So this is the devil fruit.' Zhao Chen observed the light devil fruit that he derived from the storage space of the system that is connected to his mind.
After a few moments of observation he drew his hand closer to his mouth and chomped down on the fruit little by little, taking his time as just a small bite would be a mouthful, until he completely finished it. To Zhao Chen's surprise the fruit didn't taste bitter but rather sweet.
'Nothing?'
Zhao Chen frowned, he didn't feel anything strange happening to his body after eating the Devil Fruit. Not even the faintest spark of resonance with the light element.
But just seconds into pondering the issue, his eyes widened slightly. Something stirred within him, like an awakening. It felt as though something innate had just taken shape, and he grasped it instantly.
He glanced at his right hand. With a single thought, tiny particles of pure origin light formed above his palm, flooding the room with radiant brilliance. Yet the brightness didn't bother his eyes in the slightest as he stared at the shimmering light calmly, without even squinting.
They looked like luminous stars straight from the cosmos, and Zhao Chen felt a profound connection to them. No... it wasn't just a connection. It was as if he was those particles, an embodiment of pure light itself.
Zhao Chen continued to stare at the at the particles that danced around his palm for a minute before extinguishing them, making the room turn back to its original dimness.
Even though he had a calm expression, in his heart he was quite satisfied. He already has everything needed to start cultivating, and explore the outside world in the future.
He stood up from his bed and walked towards a small table where a small paper laid on top. He picked it up and looked at its content which he already knew of due to the original's memories.
It was a letter that he received from some people that were sent by the sect's higher level. It was about the sect making some new rules. That is if the side branch's youths, which he is apart of, cannot break through the second rank, they will have no right to participate in the family sparring contest. And before the age of fifteen, if they cannot reach the third rank, they will be sent back to their branches.
Considering that, it would've applied to the original Zhao Chen, and not him. Now that he was Zhao Chen, reaching the third rank would be a breeze. He didn't need two years, give him a week, and it's done.

Zhao Chen yawned, feeling drowsy. For now, he decided to rest without any worries, after all, there was still plenty of time left.
Hard work didn't suit him in the slightest. Since life was going easy on him, he figured he might as well take full advantage of it.
Placing the letter back on the table, he returned to bed and drifted off to sleep.
