Chapter 11 - You are too weak now, Riven

"Do you want the truth?"

Ron scanned her up and down, then crossed his arms and asked.

"Yes, of course, the truth."

"Beautiful, uniquely beautiful."

He praised softly.

There have always been many people with special fetishes who like succubi and she-devils.

Although he wasn't particularly inclined, he wasn't completely against it.

He wasn't lying; Mystique's appearance on Earth was indeed unique.

"Ron, no one has ever said that to me."

Raven couldn't help but softly call his name, her eyes shining, her voice softening by three points, imbued with a touch of emotion.

No one had ever said that to her before; when she appeared in that form, all she received were exclamations and curses like 'monster' and 'devil'.

"A bunch of people who don't know how to appreciate it, no need to pay attention to them."

Ron said with a smile, gently caressing her face, and then kissed her.

Life is short; one should try more things.

It was just like a dish with a special flavor; he wouldn't eat only one dish his entire life.

"Raven, I succeeded.

I successfully developed the serum."

That evening, Hank excitedly held the serum and knocked on Raven's door, saying.

As early as at the CIA Base, he had told Raven about his idea to develop a serum to change his large feet and Raven's strange appearance.

Now, after a long period of research, he had finally succeeded.

"Raven, you don't seem particularly happy?"

Opening the door, still immersed in the daytime kiss, Raven felt a sweet calm in her heart at that moment; she came to her senses and said with a smile.

"No, I'm very happy, thank you, Hank."

Of course she was especially happy that the serum to turn her back into a normal person had been successfully developed.

"It's nothing, just a minor effort.

We are friends, aren't we?"

Hank scratched his head, then fell into excitement again.

"With the serum, we can both return to normal people and not have to endure everyone's strange looks."

Moreover, he had helped Raven solve the issue of her appearance, which had made her feel inferior and sensitive since childhood; Raven would surely be grateful to him and develop more affection for him.

"In that case, perhaps I can pull Raven's heart away from Ron."

He looked at the person he liked and thought to himself.

Hank didn't know what had happened during the day, but he had already noticed from subtle cues that Raven was somewhat close to Ron.

So after working overtime to develop the serum, he immediately rushed to find Raven without stopping.

"Everyone's strange looks?"

But Raven smiled slightly at his words, remembering Ron.

Not everyone, at least she knew one person who didn't care about her strange appearance at all.

"Raven, quickly use the serum."

Hank impatiently handed a light green serum to Raven, saying he was about to inject himself with another one.

"Wait, Hank, will there be any discomfort when injecting this serum?"

Raven stopped him and asked.

"Usually, yes, the serum's principle is similar to antibiotics, attacking the cells that cause our appearance to mutate, allowing us to return to normal."

After a moment of thought, Hank recalled, the process would be slightly painful.

"Since that's the case, could you… please go back to your room? It's a bit inconvenient for me."

She said, embarrassed, requesting.

Raven didn't want Hank to see her in pain and crying out.

"Alright… alright."

The excited Hank was immediately doused with cold water.

Bang, the door was gently closed.

He stood outside the door, holding the serum, comforting himself that Raven hadn't felt the serum's effect yet, which was why she hadn't shown him gratitude.

By the next day, after returning to a normal appearance, she might joyfully embrace him out of gratitude, giving him a surprise by no longer being deliberately polite.

"Raven, I hope your extraordinary potential can give me a surprise."

In the room, Ron stood by the window, swirling a glass of bright red wine, looking at the bright full moon in the sky, a smile playing on his lips.

He had just seen Hank leave Mystique's room with the remaining serum, and he sighed meaningfully.

"Today's full moon is truly bright, making one instinctively associate it with the sight of monster werewolves transforming and howling under the full moon."

"Ah… my body, no!…"

At the same time, in the castle, painful and fearful screams came from Hank's and Mystique's respective rooms, but they were blocked by the thick wooden doors, unheard by anyone.

Hank was a genius, but his attempt to solve his and Raven's problems by developing the serum had failed this time.

The serum not only failed to attack and eliminate the cells causing the appearance mutation but instead stimulated them, making the appearance mutation even stronger.

After using the serum, Hank grew blue fur all over his body, his muscles bulged, and he transformed into something resembling a blue-furred gorilla, becoming a true 'Beast'.

In the original development, Mystique refused Hank's serum, choosing to 'accept her true self,' and coincidentally escaped disaster.

"That's not what I want to see."

He shook his head gently.

Whether to change the destiny of Mystique, a crucial character in the X-Men Universe, or out of curiosity and for the future.

Mystique has enormous potential; the future Mutant bane, Sentinel, was researched and developed based on her genes.

He was very curious whether Mystique could transform her hidden potential into power under the serum's effect, becoming an aid for him in establishing a new era for Mutants.

"You are too weak now.

You must also want to be able to help me, right, Raven."

Ron took a sip of wine and murmured.
