Chapter 1 - Concept of Chaos, I'm Nianshen

In the midst of the infinite chaotic universe, a transcendent existence quietly emerged from the chaos.

He was Concept. From the moment he appeared in the world, he had already grasped the origin of everything. He understood the essence of existence and held the nature of life in his grasp.

More than that, he knew who he was. He was the Concept of Chaos, the operation of all things, the one who governed everything, the source of all things in the chaotic universe.

That Concept gave itself a name: Nianshen.

Nianshen waved his hand, and the entire chaotic universe twisted and mutated.

It became an endless void, in which countless smaller universes floated.

Indeed, his universe was the cradle to contain infinite other universes.

Although Nianshen had fully grasped the essence of all things, from emotion still arose curiosity toward everything.

With just a thought, Nianshen moved into another smaller universe.

To him, such an ability was merely something basic, for he was originally this chaotic universe itself.

Nianshen began shaping a body and entered this smaller universe.

Though it was called a body, his true essence was Concept. That body was only external, but at the core, his existence was still Concept.

In this smaller universe—more accurately, the universe that Nianshen had entered—it was infinitely vast, with spatial structures overlapping each other, forming an endlessly recursive network.

Each world within these infinite overlaps contained replicas of the same world.

That meant infinite versions of one world existed in this layered structure.

Each was completely independent. No timeline overlapped.

Nianshen was curious. He waved his hand and destroyed a planet within one of the layers.

Immediately, mutation occurred. Countless other layers collapsed on their own.

But if their essence was independent, why did they collapse

It was because the influence of Nianshen in reality encompassed the entire layered structure.

His existence was on a higher level, and even a single thought held an infinite scope.

Infinity enveloping infinity. Nianshen was delighted.

He entered a world within one of the layers and discovered that this place was inhabited by ancient Primordial Gods.

Nianshen was curious. To prevent this world from being destroyed by his presence, he began to lower his essence into the world.

This place was where the Primordial Gods resided.

They were the laws that governed other worlds within the layered structure.

Unintentionally, his aura had already destroyed nearby worlds, which was why the Primordial Gods had completely isolated themselves from the others.

That made Nianshen even more curious.

What they called "laws" were the core rules that operated the layered worlds.

All things existed because the laws allowed them to.

All things survived according to the laws. The laws ruled everything.

And the Primordial Gods were the embodiments of those laws, using them to dominate all things.

Nianshen's thought stirred slightly. Immediately, all the Primordial Gods awakened and confronted him.

There was the Primordial God of Space, the Primordial God of Time, the Primordial God of Fate...

They all stared at Nianshen—just a small human figure below—with killing intent.

"You are not affected by Divine Belief?"

Divine Belief was a force that manipulated the minds of humans to believe in the Primordial Gods.

Anyone facing a Primordial God would be led by Divine Belief and completely devoured by the God.

But Nianshen was completely immune.

His strange eyes looked at all the Primordial Gods, and then a transformation occurred.

He had changed form into the Conceptual Primordial God.

"I look just like you now. Hahaha," Nianshen laughed in delight.

The Primordial God of Fate became furious.

He would not allow a human to offend a Primordial God—especially not Fate.

That was blasphemy against what had already been determined by fate.

The God of Fate's thought moved slightly.

He used the Law of Fate to strike at Nianshen's fate, to annihilate it completely and merge it with the void.

But Nianshen still stood there indifferently.

He was Concept. He had no fate. He was the one who defined fate.

If Concept did not define fate, could it still be called fate?

Certainly not.

Could something undefined even be called fate

Nianshen smirked. He redefined Fate.

Now, fate became something governed by thoughts.

Fate within the layered world immediately descended into chaos.

Some believed they were rich, so fate had to make them rich.

Some believed they were strong, so fate had to let them be strong.

Nianshen laughed joyfully in the world of the Primordial Gods.

Meanwhile, the God of Fate was writhing under the weight of human thoughts.

He never imagined a day would come when he had to serve the thinking of mortals.

At that moment, Nianshen seemed to grow bored.

He thought, "Let fate be annihilated."

Immediately, the Primordial God of Fate began to be erased by a mysterious force, slowly fading into the void.

And from that moment on, fate no longer existed in the world.

All beings became aimless.

Chaos erupted across the layers.
