This time, Ye Chen formed a series of layered arrays. To create an array, one needs special ingredients — fortunately, Ye Chen already had everything required.
There were several layers to his arrangement. The first was on the fence wall, designed to prevent anyone from forcing their way in. If the wall's array was breached, another defensive array inside would automatically attack intruders. Many more arrays were set up both inside and outside the villa.
These arrays were designed to activate automatically if the person entering harbored ill intentions.
After setting up the arrays, Ye Chen began cleaning the entire villa of dust. Even with his abilities, it still took a long time — after all, the house had four floors above ground and three underground.
Ye Chen thought that perhaps he should find a maid; cleaning a place this large by himself was too much work.
When he finally finished, night had already fallen. A glance at his phone told him it was 7 p.m.
Tired of being alone in the villa, Ye Chen decided to call Zhao Yanyan and invite her out for the evening.

"Oh, Teacher Lin. What's the matter, calling me this late at night?" Ye Chen asked.
"Ye Chen, can you come to my dorm right now? I need your help with something important. And make sure you dress nicely."
"Alright, I'll be there soon." Ye Chen hung up, still wondering why Lin Rouxi wanted him to dress well.
After showering, he changed into some clothes he had found earlier while cleaning the villa. It seemed the previous owner had left many belongings behind, including a few men's outfits that fit him well.
Ye Chen headed to the garage, uncovering a car hidden beneath a cover. Underneath was a sleek silver sports car.
He didn't know the exact model, but it was definitely a Bugatti — and a very expensive one. He hadn't opened it before, but now, seeing it in full, he was amazed.
After searching through the house's ownership documents, he found the car's certificate. The vehicle had come as part of the property.
Although he didn't have a license, Ye Chen had driven cars before while doing part-time delivery work.
He climbed into the driver's seat and started the engine. Roooom! The roar of the car echoed in the garage. This was the first time he had ever driven such a luxury car — something he had dreamed of for a long time.
He sped out of the villa area toward the dormitory where Lin Rouxi and Zhao Yanyan lived.
On the road, he pushed the speed to nearly 200 km/h. Compared to delivery vans, this was an entirely different experience — so smooth and powerful that even 200 felt slow, tempting him to go faster.
In just five minutes, he reached the dormitory and went straight to Lin Rouxi's floor.
"Teacher Lin," Ye Chen called while knocking on her door.
The door opened, revealing Lin Rouxi in a stylish white dress, her long hair loose, and a white rose tucked into it. She looked so stunning that Ye Chen momentarily lost his words.
"Ye Chen, you took so long. I thought you weren't coming," she said with a slight pout.
"Sorry, Teacher. I had to prepare a bit before coming," he replied helplessly.
"Hmph, never mind. The reason I asked you here tonight is… I want you to be my boyfriend."
Ye Chen blinked. "Are you serious, Teacher?"
Seeing his confusion, Lin Rouxi quickly clarified, "Just pretend — for tonight — in front of my mother."
Realizing it was only an act, Ye Chen relaxed, but still asked, "May I know why?"
"If I'm still single at my age, my mother will set me up on blind dates with strangers. I hate that. So I told her I already had a boyfriend. I didn't expect she'd want to meet him… and that she'd come to the city today."
Ye Chen sighed. "Teacher, you're dragging your student into your personal problem. Wasn't there anyone else you could ask?"
"No. I don't know any other men well enough. Besides…" her face flushed pink, "…you're the first man to see me half-naked. As a man, you should take responsibility."
Ye Chen could only nod. "Alright."
"Good. Let's go to my mother's hotel." Without waiting, Lin Rouxi grabbed his hand and led him away.
