Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 Getting kicked out

Chapter 1.

"You don't want to leave the party huh? did i really hear that right?" Haruto said, looking at me with anger clearly visible in his eyes.

But how can i leave this party, since i have left everything my dead parents had left for me to come at this point in my life, i've worked hard, no i've worked like a slave to consolidate myself in the party, but looking at the situation i have reached, i couldn't help but feel that being slave too was not enough.

But i still couldn't give up that easily, "Haruto, please. just give me another chance okay, i'll do better."

From the childhood, i wanted to become a great swordsman and have countless beauties in my arms. with such dream, i have left the village, but within just two years, everything had fallen apart.

Bam*

Suddenly, i noticed haruto's fist coming at my face with a great speed, however, some one like me who didn't even have much agility couldn't possibly evade that attack, and next moment as the fate has planned.

The fist landed directly on my nose, making a bone snapping sound.

For a few seconds, i didn't feel anything but just then a wave of pain washed over me, the nose bone had gotten dislodged at the same time, warm blood was seeping out.

"You...Basta... Haruto, why did you punch me?" i fell on the ground holding my nose, i wanted to curse the hell out of him for punching me out of nowhere.

But could i really do that, there was no way; this guy was cruel, if i were to get on his nerves, he wouldn't even hesitate to kill me.

"Why, you ask? bastard, didn't i tell you that we don't need your presence in our party anymore." His tone was carrying a killing intent. "I have let you be till now this because we belong to the same village, but not anymore. if you don't leave the party even after this then, i'll have to cripple you so you don't act like a begger in front of me."

Why was he doing this? i just wanted to belong somewhere, wanted to have a fulfilling life, was it too much to ask?

"Haruto, Haruto, how about i become the porter of the party? i would only take small portion of what party will earn." This was the last straw i could find, if i could continue to be part of the party, i didn't care even if have to carry everyone else luggage.

I was already carrying Haruto's luggage, carrying few other bags wasn't too much.

Bam* Bam*

"Ugh.. ouch, no please don't hit me." i couldn't help but cry in pain, as the rain of punches and kicks were too much for my frail body.

"You bastard, why don't you listen. Didn't i tell you to fuck off."

"You really want to die by my hands."

He didn't stop and continue to punch and kick me, even after seeing that my skin was tearing up because of those attack, blood began to seep out, but that too didn't seem to stopping him.

I wanted to resist, i wanted him to stop, but i knew that i didn't have enough strength to even block one punch of his, he had made rapid progress in his strength while hunting monsters, meanwhile i didn't even gain strength to hunt a slime.

i was truly a waste haruto was describing. there was really no place for me here.

Getting punched and beaten to pulp, i finally realised my worth, as my eyes began to close on its own, 'ugh, looks like he really is planning to kill me.' i thought my eyes almost shut; however, just before i lost my consciousness, i heard a voice rushing in my direction, "hey, stop it, you're going to kill him."

...

"Ugh..It hurts." i opened my eyes not knowing how much time exactly had passed, feeling the pain all over my body, "but where is this place?"

the thought of being dead had appeared in my mind; however, i did't want to think to much about it, i wanted to live and achieve all of my dreams. morever, instead of lying on the solid surface of the tavern, i could feel the soft mattress right under my body.

'Did that voice i heard before passing out saved me

"You're finally awake." a voice suddenly came from behind, startling me. i jolted, tumbling off the bed with a thud as my head hit first on the ground.

"Are you alright?"

"Yeah, i'm fine." rubbing the sore spot on my head where I'd hit the floor, i looked at the girl who was looking at me with worrying eyes, "So, was it you that rushed to save me?" i asked, with a soft smile on my face.

Her name was Emi, once a fellow member of my party—now my former party.

She sat there on the other side of the bed bending her legs, her long-black hair tied in two high ponytails, commonly know as twin tails.

Her skin is pale while, almost like milk, she was adorned in pure black dress that tightly hung to her petite yet mature body, as I could see those two peaks on her chest trying hard to poke out of that dress, grabbing my attention in a weird way.

"Before that, tell me, were you really planning to die to just stay in the party?" She asked, the worry-some expression turning in slight anger.

Seeing her expression, i couldn't help but avoid eye contact with her, as she was the only one in the party, who truly listened to me and even cared about me.

"What else could I do?" I said, my voice heavy with defeat. "There's nothing left for me in this world. No home to return to, no purpose to cling to." I stared at the floor, the weight of my words settling like a stone in my gut. "That party was the last straw I could grasp, and now even that's been ripped away from me."
