Chapter 5 - chapter 4: direwolfs

They made it out! But the celebration is short lived. A growl pulls them away from all their thoughts, it reverberating through their bones, making every nerve jolt, freezing them in place. They turn around slowly, Faizure clenching his fur pelt around his neck with his fist to stop himself from running. If they ran, it would trigger the wolfs hunting response and lessen their chance of survival. Their only way to survive is to make themselves seem louder and bigger ant pray to god it's not a full pack of the hungry beasts. It stands tall on it's fours, it's bony figure barely covered by short patches of grey fur, scars and bald spots littering it's monstrous body. But it never steps out of the forest. Not one single massive paw. "There's a barrier." Hollow cries happily. What do you know, magic saved them.
