Adrian was surprised when he felt Raven's arms wrap around him as she hugged him tightly.
"It's not your fault.." Raven said in a low tone as she held onto Adrian while feeling his warmth.
She didn't know where she got the courage to hug him but she didn't want to separate any time soon.
" I know… but... it's hard not to feel guilty.." Adrian placed an arm around Raven's waist as she stiffened for a moment before leaning against his shoulder.
" Just because you can save someone doesn't mean you are responsible for them…" Raven said in a low tone as she gripped Adrian's clothes tightly.
" What about you…" Adrian asked as he gently rubbed his finger against Raven's hips in a circular manner.
Raven, leaning into the comforting touch, suddenly turned her gaze to Adrian as her purple orbs bore into Adrian's Cerulean pools as a myriad of emotions passed through them.
Raven was afraid , very much so , since she didn't know how Adrian would react to her past.
Would he still behave the same way ? This closeness, this warmth she was experiencing now , would it fade?
But most of all , Raven wanted to know , she wished to know if Adrian would behave like the way she feared.
Raven gazed at Adrian seriously as started to recount her past , the memories and emotions she kept locked up…

" I'm the daughter of Trigon , his cursed blood runs through my veins…" Raven said with self -deprecating smile as lowered her gaze and clenched her fist tightly.
" The monks of Azarath , My m-mother, all of their blood is in my hands…" Raven's voice cracked as tears pooled a bit in her eyes.
She knew she shouldn't get emotional because it would be detrimental and would give her damned father an opening but around Adrian the voices have never spoken.
She could be as emotional as she wanted but she never felt Trigon's influence on her.
" No it's not…" Adrian said seriously as he placed his palm over Raven's trembling hand, making the young woman surprised…..

" You are such an idiot.." Raven said in a tired tone as she reached over to pull Adrian by the collar as the surprise on his face only fueled her excitement.
" Rav- mmph! " Adrian was unable to complete his words as Raven mashed her lips against his in a clumsy kiss as Adrian was a bit taken aback by her bold initiative.
Raven separated from him with a huff as her breathing was a bit rapid.
She glared at Adrian with a flushed face as she didn't even give him any time to put any words in.
" You're a pervert , a womaniser , a shameless flirt… I don't know why I even like a suicidal idiot like you… but I just do…" Raven felt like steam would come out of her face as she felt like the embarrassment was too much.
But at the same time her annoyance and irritation were also clear , as it hadn't even been a week since he arrived but he was flirting with superheroines like Supergirl and Wonder Woman.
" You don't have to - " Adrian tried to argue back but Raven dismissed his words instantly.
"It's my feelings and what I chose to do with it is my business… " Raven leaned forward until their faces were only a few inches apart.
"Back home… how many women did you fool…" Raven asked Adrian with narrowed eyes making Adrian's lips twitch.
"I don't put a number on people… and it's not like I'm forcing you to like me.." Adrian shrugged as he leaned forward while pinching Raven's chin up.
When a cute girl like Raven was laying her heart out to him , he wasn't going to disappoint her especially when he liked her a bit.
" I'm fine with it… but I'm still angry!" Raven blushed as she confessed that she was okay with Adrian's weird relationships but at the same time she still felt angry.
So she did the only thing that made sense to her…. She bit him….
