'So, that figure even made her involved in it, but the question remains,' Ryuk speculated the threat level to make Drishti herself meeting someone, turning towards the old man and inquired, "Who is that figure?"

"It's Her Majesty Lady Amrantha Tenebri," it was Regina's voice coming from beside Ryuk, causing him to ponder about the reason for that title, which seemed understandable by Regina, since she answered, "Exactly. She is the epitome of strength on Blue Star, the only OVERLORD in existence."

'isn't it weaker than her,' Ryuk turned his gaze towards the woman who was approaching him after having a conversation with knelt figures who seemed crew members for their ship.

Technically, he was not even stronger than Regina in ranks, let alone someone like these figures, but from the status of Drishti, it was clear that her peak strength was SUPREMACY and below it was OVERLORD.

Of course, he understood that no one was aware of Drishti's identity and her strength was also sealed, but it all felt confusing, since Someone of that power level was alive.

He knew vague details about the Tenebri family through Wang's mouth. From there, he was aware that Amrantha was a founding ancestor just like Drishti, making his approach of that day to not know more about them seems true.

Now that he was getting so much information, unconsciously his brain was thinking on a high level, ignoring the fact that he was just at the early stage of LEGENDARY Rank.

"Let's leave. The ship is prepared to depart," a voice pulled him out of his thoughts, causing him to turn towards the figure who had arrived, looking at him with a blank face, having already heard everything, but thinking about the question Ryuk will ask.

"Lady Drishti, you told me about surpassing our Founding Ancestor. What does that mean?" Ryuk, not inquiring about someone else, directly started with him, while having much time to inquire further.

"Hm, it's just that at your age, she was just at the peak of ZENITH," a soft smile formed on Drishti's face, looking at the young man who had truly surpassed her.

'!'

'Zenith?' Even though with the help of Conduit, Ryuk had raised his strength to Ascendancy, but reaching Peak Zenith at his age was not something he was confident in achieving.

Of course, there were many variables, like him being in a coma, which was worth it, and second was him losing the Devereaux bloodline, but they were just excuses. Knowing the difference in strength, at the mere age of 17 reaching that rank was not possible.

Once again, reminding him that even with that carefree personality, he was up against a true monster.

"I understand, Lady Drishti. By the way, if she was that strong at such a young age, then what was her peak strength? Was she stronger than Lady Amrantha?" Not having any better opportunity than this, he directly asked a question which would clearly tell him who was stronger.

'....' Drishti's gaze turned cold upon hearing that question. Instantly, the air surrounding them also seemed to fall into a haze, showing her dissatisfaction with hearing that question.

"I apologize if it offended you," seeing changes in the surrounding, Ryuk found it better to retreat instead of pushing her further.

"No, it's fine." Seeing him retreating, Drishti too calmed herself down, not reminding old history, turned to leave towards the ship while leaving a message behind, "Amrantha is unkillable, never exhausts, always remains at her peak strength."

'...Is she really immortal?' Somewhat aware of Amrantha and Tenebri Bloodline story, but at that time, it was just some extra information.

But now, hearing those words from Drishti herself, it was clear that this world was really big, with someone always existing far stronger than you.

"Commander, it will take half an hour for the engines to produce enough thrust," one of the individuals arriving at Regina's side informed her about the preparation for departure being at the final stage.

"My Liege, preparations have been done, just a moment more," with a slight bow, Regina informed Ryuk, whose gaze was fixed on the view in front of him.

WHRRRRRR

Before Ryuk, five colossal battleships rested on the ground with a sharp sound of their engines filling the whole place, glimmering in onyx black which seemed to absorb Gaia's rays, bristling with cannons and armed to the teeth, its circuits glimmering in amber made things more dominating.

'Why are these black?' Last time, even while visiting Crawford's Base, according to his memory, all the ships were metallic silver.

And leaving the color aside, why are battleships here in the first place?

clank

"Hehe, Mr. Toy! Oopsie, I mean Young Master, I prepared them, how do they look?" Directly jumping in front of him was Mia, excitedly puffing out her chest while feeling pride for changing the color of ships.

'Again that sound,' naturally the sound was minimal, but until now, due to being entangled with battles, he paid no heed to it. But seeing Mia always jumping here and there, he inquired, "Does it hurt in your leg?"

"Hurt?" Mia, waiting for praise, felt confused, turning her gaze downward to follow Ryuk's gaze.

Naturally, she was habitual of wearing a prosthetic leg from childhood, so it wasn't a problem.

'System, is there nothing in store to heal her leg?' Ryuk inquired, already having gotten enough help from this girl.

At least before leaving, he wanted to return the favor.

[ Host, Healing potion can't heal her disability due to it being inborn and an aftereffect of a curse ]

'....' Ryuk was once again reminded about the reason for Mia's childish personality, but still not being of any help, he could just hope to encounter something regarding this curse in his journey.

"Fine then, you did a good job in painting it black, I guess." Placing his hand on her head while softly ruffling her hair, Ryuk turned towards the ship which was already prepared to leave.

"Regina, there is no need for only three of us to have five ships accompanying us. Leave them." He wanted to learn and grow on outside continents, not to threaten them or wage some war against them.

"My Liege, but what about my unit?" Regina looked at Ryuk in confusion, even all the people moving things inside the ship halted while turning towards their direction.

"What unit?" Ryuk inquired, though he had indeed felt the presence of LEGENDARY Ranked Powerhouses filling this whole place.

But, it couldn't be that Regina brought the whole army, right?

THUD THUD THUD

"WE GREET OUR LIEGE!"

Suddenly, one after another, figures filling that place knelt, appearing as crew a moment ago, now appearing to be the same battalion which first came to his gate to welcome him, making him realize what was happening here.

"No, none of you are going," Ryuk blankly rejected, not wanting to bring so many Powerhouses along with him, let alone the Heads of Branch Families, who were on LEGENDARY Ranks; here, all these army members were at that level.

Meaning, it was a legion of walking catastrophes at a level far stronger than any Branch Families.

"Wh-why?!" Regina's eyes widened, hearing Ryuk's words, not understanding how he could abandon these crew members.

"Wh-why?!" Regina's eyes widened, hearing Ryuk's words, not understanding how he could abandon these crew members before composing herself, "Forgive me, Liege, but I hope you reconsider."

"Regina, having so many people will only cause havoc. I find it a bit of a problem." The problem was not that there were so many people here, but their strength was far superior to his. Defeating them was not impossible, but still, he could trust Regina, but not these people.

"My Liege, I suggest letting them accompany us. I definitely don't doubt your strength, but if you ever collide with any Flagbearer, then their army will also engage with you. It will only be a hassle for you," Regina informed about the most common strategy applied by branch families when they encountered any Flagbearer.

Technically, until any guardian notices them with their eyes, which is impossible since none of them ever left Ardoros to begin with, Branch Families could suppress a Flagbearer with overwhelming force and use their own other Race's slaves to finally put an end.

And the Insignia gets transferred to the nearest Flagbearer in its range.

Since no Flagbearer can directly kill each other, the transfer of the kill occurs while considering the nearest Flagbearer, which could obviously be the one who put an end to its previous owner's life.

But it was practiced by very few Branch families to directly engage with a Flagbearer due to fear of being caught by Guardians, which may be impossible yet remaining cautious of their actions; every family avoided it.

'....' Ryuk observed all of them; they were behemoths on their own.

It wasn't that he didn't want to let them accompany him just to avoid confusion from the other party, but the issue was these individuals themselves.

Regina could be trusted since she formed a knighthood Oath with him, but these people who can't be controlled were the problem.

Their presence will be assurance, but their loyalty was a variable to him.

But seeing Regina's bow with all of the knelt figures, there was only one thing he could do. "Fine, you all may go with me."

"THANK YOU, LIEGE!"

188 individual voices resonated throughout the place, firmly kneeling on the ground while compressing all of their auras in submission. Yet, the mere voice of theirs caused a ripple to form in the air, visible enough.

In front of him was a whole Legion, stronger than himself in stats, much experienced, and true veterans.

But was this enough to let them follow him?

"But how can I trust all of you?" Ryuk firmly stated, not caring about some emotional feelings, since all of them were experienced enough to guess this much.

"My Liege, I can guarantee them," Regina came forth, her eyes meeting Ryuk's, showing her determination and resolve. For her words, proof of her trust in her members.

"I didn't ask you, Regina." With a cold gaze, Ryuk firmly stated.

'!?'

"I-i apologize, My Liege." Regina's widened eyes made her retreat, standing beside while other members too noticed it but still kept their gaze downward.

"I repeat myself once again." Standing with eyes completely cold, with pressure surrounding his body increasing rapidly, Ryuk stated, "How can I trust any one of you?"

"I can sign a Slave contract," one of the knelt figures firmly stated, without a hint of hesitation, prepared to lower himself.

"Me too."

"Me too."

It felt confusing how such strong powerhouses were showing their dedication to serve a newly arrived person.

'!?'

"Stop it, all of you. What is the meaning of this?" Regina interrupted, seeing her own comrades lowering themselves to this level because of her own oath.

They all wanted to work under her, they all rose to their ranks after so many years of struggle, sharing life and death experiences, becoming habitual of each other's presence as comrades in arms, and finally accepted Regina as their leader.

But due to the tradition of Sword Valley, she wanted to serve someone deserving. After all, it had been thousands of years since anyone from Sword Valley accepted someone as their liege.

They didn't choose someone who could easily overpower them, nor someone who had enormous potential to become the strongest in the world.

It was based on instincts.

Simple yet impossible at the same time. Simple since it didn't have some complex steps to qualify it, impossible since never once their instincts accepted anyone as their master.

Regina too had just assumed to never encounter someone deserving, but somewhat her instincts rang that day and the rest is history.

Indeed, she chose because it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Of course, she had even done all background research about the person she needed to choose and after all that, she accepted him as her liege.

But these people.

They were not bonded by her to decrease their status to mere slaves.

Even for her, those words from Drishti about this whole Soul offering tradition being pathetic, was absolutely true. Regina, with her own hands, had sealed her faith with someone unknown.

Data can be manipulated, which she knew from her experience. So she assumed that there was nothing she knew about Ryuk Devereaux.

"Fine then," Ryuk replied to their words, no hesitation in his tone.

He respected their dedication to even consider accepting becoming a slave, knowing it would be a humiliation for such individuals.

But in matters of emotions, he couldn't make decisions that would be regretful in the future.

Thud

"L-liege, please reconsider. They are just following me," Regina knelt down, requesting him not to accept such an offer that would cause humiliation for one of the strongest divisions of the Devereaux Army.

Yes, this number represented one-fifth of the whole Devereaux strength.

Having them was akin to an army that could stand against any major families on Ardoros.

If counted on fingers, then there were only a thousand individuals in the Devereaux Army with ranks higher than EPIC, excluding the mysterious and little-known Guardians.

"Don't speak, Regina. It's an order," Ryuk could clearly see the bond they all shared as a team, which was very rare to see.

Until now, even in his previous life, only Reinguards had such connections among themselves.

"I apologize," Regina finally accepted her fate with guilt, knowing she would bring down all these individuals with her into this hell.

It would be a guilt that would remain even if they won the whole world. Due to her choices, 188 individuals would become slaves today.

"Make a line and come one by one," Ryuk ordered the men, who seemed unfazed even after openly expressing their desire to become slaves.

Has their value degraded in his eyes?

If they were truly that powerful, why submit to anyone else and be mere slaves?

No, instead it increased to the level where he was sure to rely on them, they followed a single individual named Regina Devereaux, She Choosed him and they also followed her— proof of their loyalty.

But precautions were slightly necessary, while still highly respecting them rather than treating them as fools who bowed their heads by entangling in emotions.

"Huh?" Lifting their gazes, each of their eyes fixed on the young man standing, wearing a black suit with grey embroidery. Eyes of deep amber looked back at them. Pointing towards themselves, they asked in unison, "Do we stand in line?"

"Yes, do it now," Ryuk ordered them, which seemed confusing at first, but they all formed a line, standing and moving behind one another, an amusing sight for onlookers.

For the first time, these individuals were following such an order. Due to their heightened senses, they could clearly hear Savants and other people laughing at them.

'It is for our Leader,' motivated one of them with those words to tolerate this mockery of those Savants, who were races brought here for construction of battleships yet making fun of their masters.

'Just kill me,' Regina, seeing her comrades averting their gazes here and there, felt embarrassed, which just increased her guilt for making them go through this situation.

They were naturally the military power of Devereaux family, but each one of them was enough to hold Commander positions in other Middle Level Continents. Standing like this was just too much for them.

But their dedication towards Regina, who had guilt towards them, caused a very beautiful portrayal to form on the wide land stretching through to hundreds of miles, especially prepared for the departure of Battleships, proof from the circuits embedded on the ground providing last moment energy to the cores.

Every battleship gets recharged through Crystal Energy to fulfill their energy capacity but also contained Energy Core to provide a small but steady amount to keep it flying.

More like a vast pond from which water is continuously drawn while being replenished by tap water. Depending on how quickly the water is drawn, some amount will be refilled using the tap water as well.

However, that small tap will never completely fill the entire pond in a short amount of time, which holds true for Reactors too. They generate enough Ether to maintain the balance between reservoirs while the ship is flying, but if a single cannon is fired, then that balance will crumble.

'System, purchase clothes for them; you can choose designs on your own,' Ryuk commanded, noticing the awkwardness in the air. He too was not exempt from the situation, but it was necessary.

They all wore black robes, a very common army dress code of the Devereaux family, but he wanted to make them different or at least easily identifiable while utilizing it as an opportunity.

'Also, infuse Grimoire in them,' he commanded, utilizing this whole facade of matching cloth team as an illusion for him to slide the Enslavement Grimoire into them.

With time, it will naturally enter their bodies, enslaving them gradually without humiliating them.

Ryuk would ensure their loyalty without causing them humiliation.

Of course, for now, it felt awkward, almost as if he was creating some sort of cult.

Unbeknownst to him, the foundation for the future was laid with this initiative, which seemed amusing to him. It would set off a chain reaction that would soon lead to the formation of the world's strongest legion.

'Stop sounding like some scammer,' Even though System added additional things on its own, they were useful enough to have an excuse on him to give these people, but Ryuk still inquired, 'Did you copy that self-reapir ability from my clothes?'

[Host, naturally, I was free all day, so, for fulfilling my curiosity, I tried to understand the way this cloth works, but I could only copy it to some extent, not completely.]

'But, can you not find anything like this in store?' Ryuk was not doubting System since he had allowed it to do so naturally due to the ability of his suit to let it conduct his ability, he could easily prevent System from doing anything to this cloth.

[Host, there were different clothes with the ability of self-repair or conduction, but both can't be brought together in one and their cost is also hefty.]

'....' Ryuk turned towards the first individual wearing a black robe falling in his sight, naturally, he can't give them clothes and tell to go and change it, leading him to inquire, 'Can you replace their clothes too?'

[....]

SWWHSH

"T-this?" Instantly all of their robes started to get replaced by a thick leather suit, pants, and jackets, with a long trench coat enhancing the overall impact created by hoodies hiding their faces.

{A/n: Reference }

thud thud

"WE PROMISE TO SERVE OUR LIEGE TILL THE END"

Instantly, the whole place was filled with a single sound resonating from all corners, drawing the attention of many individuals. Among them, one seemed to sprint directly towards them.

BOING

"You, Human, how did you do it? And what's with the quality of these things? Why don't they seem to have any runes or magical circles yet possess repair properties?" Tictric leaped over the head of one of the members of the group, using a magnifying glass to inspect the fabric, which was undoubtedly unique, aiding his swift conclusions due to his curiosity.

'..Smart as always.' Looking at the small creature standing on the head of a knelt figure, who remained firm, Ryuk knelt to come to eye level with the Savant, proposing, "So, Tictric, how about this: I'll give you one of my thesis books, and you can prepare a live model of it?"

"Huh? Human, aren't you thinking highly of yourself just because of these different things you prepare?" Tictric, while intermittently examining the coat's fabric, reminded the young man of reality, as savants were experts in battleship engineering. "You are lucky that it isn't related to battleship—"

SHHHSS

"How about this, then?" A thick, red, spiraled book materialized in Ryuk's hand, approximately 2 inches thick, 10 inches long, and 6 inches broad. It seemed heavy enough to serve as a shield in front of the small creature, standing at 2 feet tall, or 60 inches.

BOING

"Ugh... Give me that." Tictric jumped down from the hooded man's shoulder and opened the book, while Ryuk observed the little savant's changing expressions from his seated position.

"Hmm..."

"Let's see..."

"Hmm, interesting..."

"Oh?"

'!?'

"This... isn't it a modified Core Reactor!" Tictric's eyes widened upon seeing the blueprint of an Ether core, similar to those present inside battleships but capable of generating significantly more energy than the ones mentioned.

SWISH SWISH

As if Tictric's voice created a ripple, several Savants left their work and bombarded themselves onto him, lining up one above the other, forming a tiny ant castle.

They looked at the book with the same expression: curious, then shocked.

Leaving these Savants with a final command, Ryuk stood up. "I want you all to create these battleships. At the last page of the book, the software for the mainframe is placed in an Etherium Crystal. Use it in the advanced version of the new generation ships."

"D-DO YOU REALLY GIVING THIS TO US?" All the Savants spoke together, while Tictric was not left alone, his eyes glimmering with anticipation as he looked at the huge mountain-like figure in front of them, appearing like a god, blessing them with infinite knowledge.

"Yes, but I want you to create as many battleships as possible in exchange for all my life's hard work," Ryuk stated with a soft smile, appearing genuinely sincere at his core.

[Host, But wasn't it me who analyzed the battleship and prepared the whole new generation ship with softwar...]

'Mute until I tell you to speak,' Ryuk turned to leave. It was already enough time for him here; he needed to leave this place, which gave him many things and an aim too.

"Regina, prepare the fleet. We are going to our first destination."

Show menu NOVEL BIN3Novel Reincarnated and Regressed Villain - Make heroines beg for forgiveness Chapter 119: Chapter 119- Titanora: Homeland of Dariants (1)REINCARNATED AND REGRESSED VILLAIN - MAKE HEROINES BEG FOR FORGIVENESSC119: Chapter 119- Titanora: Homeland of Dariants (1)

In the Enormous Planet, which is home to several races, each with unique abilities that differentiate them from others.

But separating these races into categories to decide which zone they should belong to, was it just based on a particular race?

Mostly, it was done based on physical appearance and its similarities, which was also controversial since vampires' appearance would indirectly place them in the Human Zone.

This created the law of compatibility or mutual acceptance, meaning if a continent leading top at that particular zone approved any other middle ones to submerge in that zone and was accepted by that continent, then they would be declared under that particular zone.

There were some unspoken rules about each zone, like they can't attack each other without valid reason. If any other zone's race tried to attack them, then the top 3 continents of that zone had complete authority to wage war against the assailants.

There were some more, but these two were majorly followed.

Very few instances occur when these unspoken rules are broken. Though holding power did give individuals the ability to ignore such laws, which was true for Blairs from the Devereaux family, belonging to the strongest continent in the Human Zone.

Approximately a century ago, more accurately 98 years ago, they broke this law by launching an all-out attack with Titanora, the small continent belonging to a race known for their inborn physical ability to utilize 96% of surrounding mana into physical strength.

Normally, a human could only synthesize 76% of surrounding mana, with the remaining percentage wasted, making the whole utilization process harder for them and making the Dariants—race which possess this ability—widely known for their physical strength.

Once ranked fourth, now replaced by the newly risen continent known by the name Heindal, Titanora was in the fifth position.

Never once was a race, on the brink of reaching the top three, imagined to fall in rankings by facing a devastating battle against their own Zone member.

98 years ago, after Patriarch Blair killed one of the Dariants for going against them, he declared war on the whole race. Suddenly pitted against one of the world's strongest armies, the Dariants were cornered.

There is a saying: Ants can defeat Elephants, Rats can overrun Cats, and even Buffaloes can kill the tiger. Let alone all this, with added momentum, a 2 mm metal piece can bring down anything.

It's a simple line that motivated individuals to never back away from danger and have faith in themselves.

But it was only true for animals or non-living things, not for humans who possessed intelligence and shrewdness far greater than simple working machines, like animals or a simple bullet.

A total of 12,000 Early Phase II warriors, ranks below APEX, were killed while fighting against 10 people, among whom 6 were at the Perfect Middle ranks of Epic and 4 were at Early Perfect Legendary ranks.

The battle was devastating, marking a moment of despair etched in the history of Titanora.

Sacrificing all its military power, they were able to kill all the EPIC ones and 2 Legendary ones, leaving behind Patriarch Blair and her daughter, who were leading the front while killing many civilians.

Yes, the count of 12,000 was the number of veterans who died.

Due to the hierarchy of power here, the lives of normal individuals falling under Early Phase I were not included, which crossed half a million.

It seemed there was still some mercy left in the heart of Demoness Blair—daughter of Patriarch Blair—who, after killing so many normal individuals, decided to withdraw.

It was a relief until three years ago, Blair's ship, which was clearing the path for the Flagbearer battle soon to start in a year, by dominating small or middle-level continents to gather information first if any other rival Flagbearer arrived in their land, collided with someone.

Three battleship fleets, filled with several cannons and warriors of APEX and lower ranks in Imperfect stage, along with their leader Patriarch Blair, who was at the Early Perfect Legendary Rank, were killed in a single day.

The one who did it claimed herself as the daughter of the man who was killed at the hands of the Blairs a century ago.

With this, she offended the whole Devereaux Family, and it was the end of Titanora with that.

At least, it was what everyone expected, but it seemed luck was still on the Dariants' side.

Divided into fragmented divisions known as kingdoms, Titanora was mostly ruled by strong individuals instead of a separate king. Hierarchy was based on the strongest individual.

Right now, the strongest kingdom was at the center of this vast expanse. There was still an impact left from the previous battle, resulting in broken architectures and ruins all over the borders of Titanora.

Meaning, a land of 1 million square miles, smaller in landmass yet once strong enough to hold the potential for getting into the Top 3 rankings, was now mostly ruins.

When strong individuals fight with the intent of annihilation, their impacts cause landslides, tsunamis, and earthquakes due to them not controlling their strength like they always do.

Except for the Kingdom at the heart of Titanora, every other kingdom was suffering from food shortages, inflation, and crimes.

Inside the airspace of this whole expanse, which was calmer with an echoing memory of once a battle filling the whole sky, a sharp sound resonated, tearing through the air and the hearts of natives of this land.

SKREEEEEEEEE!

WHRRRRRRR!

A sharp sound of five colossal battleships, glimmering in only black exterior, filled the airspace with engine sounds reaching the individuals beneath them.

The first thing that should arise in the hearts of natives should be trauma from the previous experience, right?

No.

It was rage.

.....

Bzzzzzzzzzz!

:: HOW DARE YOU AGAIN INFILTRATE OUR AIRSPACE, DEVEREAUX FAMILY IS CROSSING THEIR LINE NOW ::

A sound reverberated inside the main control room of one of the ships moving in front.

'So, this is Titanora,' Ryuk's eyes looked down from a huge mirror window which was black from the outside but clear from within, gazing at the vast land spanning with several ruins on the ground which seemed to appear like ancient ruins, with broken architectures and trees growing here and there.

But his eyes were not on the scenery but fixed on individuals standing on the ground—men, women, children—looking back at the battleships with clenched jaws, visible teeth, and rage in their eyes, evident from the redness within them.

Their features were mostly the same as humans except for the two horns which seemed made of crystal of different colors depending on each individual, adorning them.

Their physical bodies did not seem strength-oriented; instead, they were very thin and delicate for both men and women.

Narrowing his gaze since he didn't feel anyone above APEX Rank on the whole continent, he turned his gaze towards the woman lazily sitting on a throne specially prepared for her. He inquired, "Lady Drishti, there isn't anyone who seems stronger—"

"Slow down the ship. We've reached the place," Drishti stood from her seat, moving forward towards the young man who was interrupted in the middle. Turning towards him, she added, "Prepare yourself. I am throwing you out of this ship."

"Huh?"

"Huh?" Ryuk's face turned blank upon hearing her words, which could have been spoken more politely, but he didn't expect much to begin with. He turned towards Regina, commanding, "Land the ship at a nearby empty ground."

"Yes, My Liege—" Regina nodded, but was interrupted.

"You are going alone from here, Ryuk. Didn't you tell us to become physically stronger? We will separate from here," Drishti folded her hands, looking at the young man, who somewhat understood her meaning but...

"Then, will the ships keep flying until I return?" He inquired.

"No, I need rest after this long journey. We will wait for you in the capital of this place. You have 8 months to reach there," Drishti informed, while observing the reactions of everyone, who seemed slightly confused due to her sudden declaration.

"I understand." Ignoring all of them, Ryuk nodded and accepted her words. Since he didn't have any option other than trusting her, and with a confirming nod from Regina, he got some assurance.

"By the way, what will you do until then, Lady Drishti?" Knowing her personality, her staying in the same place without doing something for more than a month's time wasn't digestible.

"Heh, I am immune to the flow of time, kid," Drishti softly smiled, looking at the boy who doubted her patience, before continuing, "Though, I will definitely not get bored here. Won't you show me something good?"

'She is definitely up to something,' Ryuk averted his gaze from her, turning towards the land beneath the ship. It was 42,000 feet above, tearing through the clouds.

"So, where are the parachutes?" Turning towards Regina, he inquired.

After all, it couldn't be that he needed to jump from this height.

...

SWWWIIISHHH

'Damn it'

Falling freely from the height of 42,000 feet with a velocity of 2,648.86 m/s, accelerating with the value of 274 m/s² while already breaking the sound barrier at just a velocity of 343 m/s, now it was reaching the point where the friction with air started to heat up the exterior skin.

CRACKLE!

Shrouded in dense amethyst Ether, Ryuk's body fell in a standing position with his folded hands, not fearing the height since he had already calculated the force of impact to be approximately 19,728 Newtons or around 2,012.15 tons—so, it wasn't the problem.

The problem was, he was an asteroid right now.

It had already been 3 seconds since he jumped from the ship.

In another 6.35 seconds, he would hit the ground with a body harder than Tungsten and now enforced with Ether, making his body as hard as Diamond, with a force of 80,000 metric tons needing to pierce the aura surrounding him.

Calculated with his momentum, body density, gravitational force, and air friction, if he collided with the ground, Titanora would split apart, thanks to its land density making it hard enough to not shatter.

And with this, Ryuk Devereaux would become the Catastrophe who destroyed a whole race by falling onto them.

"Phew~," exhaling his breath just a second before reaching the ground, he left a small command, 'System, Heal my Body.'

BOOOOOOOM!

RUMBLEEE!

CRAAACKKKK!

Within a blink, a huge crater around a mile was formed on the land, instantly sending a shockwave destroying the ground like small pieces up to the mile, huge cracks centered from the source of impact evident on the whole place.

"Khucckk..... Cough!...Haa...Haa." Falling on his knees, a stream of blood came out of Ryuk's mouth. Supporting himself with one hand on the ground, he slowly lifted himself.

[Initiating Healing..!]

'I really took heavy damage,' Ryuk observed the wringing sensation all over his body, feeling a deep pain as if muscles were torn and bones fractured.

[Host, it was a very dangerous move of yours to absorb the impact instead of sending it to the ground.]

'Don't speak until I say otherwise,' Ryuk slowly stood, not caring much about the System's words, since he just followed one of his ethics: if you can't help, then don't do harm either.

He avoided harming anything from his side, but looking at the now broken ground and trees scattered in a range of a mile, he seemed to feel slightly failing here.

[Destruction is better than annihilation, Host.]

'Shut up, Dumbass,' Ryuk ignored the System, observing the signs of life nearby to learn about them.

Naturally, he didn't have many plans, so he would just move towards the Capital, of course without using his power, which would shorten the journey to mere hours.

SWISH

A young man wearing a black masquerade mask moved through the forest filled with broken stone pillars, signifying the ruins formed due to architecture falling on the ground.

The place seemed nothing short of barren land, with some trees growing over the broken stone pillars and walls, making the whole scenery appear even more empty, without a trace of life.

'There are four of them.' While moving, Ryuk had already noticed four individuals moving towards him at a rapid pace.

He had already sensed their levels were in the middle of Phase I, likely ADEPT or ELITES at most, and they seemed to have a lack of mana—a natural property of a Dariant.

SWOOSH!

Halting in his way due to a sharp sound, Ryuk turned towards the upcoming illumination which increased enough to bathe his whole figure, covering him in white light.

BOOM!

With a sound produced by the energy bomb, the place was filled with dust produced from beneath where it exploded, hitting directly to the young man who seemed unguarded—at least from the perspective of the assailant.

"Is that bastard dead?" A man with a scar on his face looked towards the dust, inquiring through the man standing next to him.

"He seems weak like humans, but how did he create that huge crater?" Another one felt confused since the masked man didn't have any energy trace but still fell from those black ships.

"Let me check it." Siding his comrade by pushing him by the shoulder, one of the men made his way towards the dust, the only one in the whole group without firearm support.

'Is he dea—' The man tried to confirm, but it was already late. "Kuch?!"

"AAAGGHHHHHHhhhhhh....." Only a fading scream remained while the man's body disappeared in that dust, making the others swiftly turn their backs to shoot their firearms.

"Fire now!" With his back turned towards the dust, the man ordered the shooter tied on his back.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Sounds of energy blasts filled the space, with the dust slowly clearing, revealing a figure firmly standing while lifting one of their comrades by the neck, gripping him tightly in his hands.

Clad in a black suit, amber eyes gazing from the mask seemed to make him look more dominating. With force increasing each moment, a sound resonated in the forest.

CRUNCH!

THUD!

The body was thrown on the ground before Ryuk turned his gaze towards the remaining three men. 'These bastards.'

What captured Ryuk's attention was the reflection of 7 or 8 year-old children sitting tied on the backs of those men holding energy blasters and small spherical bombs in their waists, looking at him with anger before one of the children shouted, "Please die!"

BANG!

'Those eyes,' Ryuk could see tears in their eyes while clicking the triggers with their small hands, making his mind snap instantly.

It was clear that they were forced to do it for some reason.

At this moment, he could do only one thing. Slowly lifting his left hand, with cold gaze, he spoke,

"I surrender."
