once there was a king named taro once he ruled with might and mercy his people cheered his name his enemies feared his wrath he stood tall over broken kingdoms his sword carved justice into stone his army undefeated his heart full of pride and loyalty
one night the flames of victory danced in the sky his castle filled with music and wine soldiers celebrated nobles bowed the world was his or so he thought
his most trusted general yan approached him with a calm tone saying we need to talk my king taro followed without fear for who could hurt the undefeated king in his own court
there they stood friends from childhood brothers of battle ray the closest friend niel the commander karn the silent mage taro smiled thinking it a reunion but ray stepped forward with sad eyes and said i am sorry my king but joy never lasts
a blade slipped into taro's heart cold steel warm blood falling pride he staggered looked into the eyes of betrayal and asked why niel replied because you stood in our way the world belongs to power not honor
he fell to the floor his crown shattered not by enemies but by friends the room faded into silence darkness took him
but death was not the end
he awoke in a place beyond stars a voice echoed through the void i am eliade the god of a different world i watched your end and felt your pain and so i offer you a gift
taro confused broken asked why me the god replied because you deserve to rise again
from his hand came a sphere of light within it a power untold a single ability the eye of god with it you may copy any power you see taro touched the light and the world exploded into new birth
he opened his eyes in a dark forest strange winds whistling trees twisted sky heavy he was no longer king no armor no blade just breath and skin and fire inside
from the woods came three goblins wild and hungry taro fought with stones and rage his blood spilled again a wound on his ankle sharp and burning but he killed them he survived barely
as he collapsed to the ground holding his leg thinking is this how i die again a small blue slime crawled near touched his ankle and the wound closed in a blink he stared in awe laughed in disbelief and whispered you're mine now little one
then he found an old map beside a skeleton marked with names of kingdoms ruled by demons and kings blood and power written across the land he stood looked far to the horizon and said i will begin again
and this time no one will betray me
