One of Ordo's advanced magic spells: Obscurtias
It directly silences the essence of Ethernano, and is specifically very effective against living beings who manipulate them. Subconsciously, the spell inverts their awareness when attempting to harness its energy.
A wizard affected with this spell would not notice it immediately. Drawing out a major capacity from their magical container? No, their body will respond by emitting a smaller amount. Chants or Spells? They wouldn't be able to gauge the output properly, a fatal mistake for battles against adversaries.
Simple yet practical, making it a glaring advantage if you're not under its debuffs.
When applied on dark wizards who rely on their personal strength and arrogant personality… This was a combo that was too tempting to pass up, so Ordo reminded the three to make the most of it until he couldn't maintain the Soundless domain anymore.
"Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!"
BAM!
Natsu's fist made contact against Nyrod's, the latter gritting his teeth in disbelief. His Strength Magic was supposed to give him a physical advantage always. The last time he genuinely lost even with his magic activated was during his first encounter with Argonia.
"He ain't lying! You're really strong!" The dragon slayer pushed with even more force, making the blight skid a fair distance from him. Natsu didn't stop his momentum as he followed with consecutive spells.
He boosted himself from under his feet, arriving before Nyrod instantly. "Fire Dargon's Claw!" Natsu aimed a kick towards the man who was still rattled by their clash. But in the last second, he narrowly dodged it, while the wall behind him caved from the attack.
Nyrod shook his head, finally composed as he grabbed the pink-haired young man's face. Judging from his expression alone, he had already figured out the purpose of Ordo's spell. To think he'd betray us like this… That conniving rat!
Five-Fold Guillotine! He smashed Natsu's face on the hard ground, cracking the surface again from the sheer might of another spell. It was payback for that punch in the gut, and with that, his head finally cleared and focused on his opponent.
"Erza's punches hurt wayy more. Nice try though." Nyrod noticed a grin from the invader as he felt that scalding heat appearing under his palm. Natsu grabbed his arm so that he wouldn't escape.
"Fire Dragon's Roar!"
A wave of fire threatened to engulf Nyrod, swiftly letting his hand go to dodge the point-blank strike. Natsu recovered from the ground, already dashing towards him with infused fists.
It was an intense exchange of counters and blocks, the two of them bringing destruction on this poor floor. Natsu jumped up, still with that grin on his face. Nyrod responded with the same energy.
Natsu then circulated his fire on his hand, cocking his arm back for maximum efficiency. He swung down with absolute force, alongside a massive display of flames that was ready to burn the entire place.
Nyrod also clenched his right fist, black lines snaking around his arm. He wasn't fazed by the slayer's impending attack, and was even eager to meet it head-on. The man smiled in excitement as they clashed again.
"Fire Dragon's Crushing Fang!"
Six-Fold Cannon!
BOOOM!
Although sound was available only for Natsu at the moment. One can imagine a loud explosion as another section of the floor was destroyed. They were both flung back to opposite sides, landing on piles of debris.
Smoke covered their being as they coughed, with Natsu's echoing throughout the Soundless Domain. Another round of fire manifested, parting the smoke as it showed the dragon slayer walking and panting.
He wiped the blood from his mouth as he powered up his magic again. "I'm not done yet! After I'm done with you, I'm gunning for that guild master of yours!"
Nyrod also exited the smoke while smiling, crushing the debris under his palms. He already identified the young man in front of him, a light wizard that was a great obstacle for all kinds of dark guilds.
The guild mark on his shoulders gave it away. Fairy Tail's Salamander, huh? How did that thief of ours get someone like him? That's some immense luck.
Both of them stared each other down, their magical pressure covering the entire floor. Wizards like them still have more fuel to give, because this fight was just beginning.
…
Drip!
Drip!
A man with ragged long black hair stared angrily at the stoic woman in front of him, his sliced right robe sleeve displaying an injury that was fresh. Unconscious people followed in her wake, trailed by numerous gashes coming from her sword in the area.
Kagura narrowed her eyes at the near miss of her target. I made sure to knock everyone out within the floor. Creating the perfect angle to get him out of commission…. To think he could dodge by instincts alone, that's an elite dark wizard for you.
Lockine's face twitched as he opened his opened in pure rage. He looked like a madman that was not right in the head. The swordswoman simply raised an eyebrow at the ridiculous show, remembering how Ordo pictured him.
"A perfect description for a cultist like you. You will fall under my blade." Kagura held her weapon with sharp focus.
The blight screamed as if to scoff at her statement, spikes forming from all directions. She leaped up while avoiding the pitch-black threat from below, while not forgetting the ones above her as she countered.
"Archenemy: Flight Form."
Shing!
Multitudes of spikes simultaneously shattered from the precise swings of her sword. Kagura used the destroyed pieces as footholds, traversing smoothly until she reached her opponent.
W-What!? My spikes were easily dealt with!? What type of blasted sword does that heretic have!?
Startled by her speed, Lockine created spikes in front of him to be used as a shield, while forming new ones behind her to strike. Kagura hummed, and simply chanted another spell.
"Gravity Magic: Earth." The spikes slowed under the sudden heaviness, even Lockine felt its effects. He gritted his teeth as he quickly created another form of defense against the woman who was not fazed in the slightest.
Kagura easily destroyed his magic that was stated to be indestructible, closing her distance as she directed her scabbard on his torso.
"Archenemy: Strength Form." A soundless wail of pain exited from Lockine's being, but it was cruelly denied under the silence. Kagura continued to push the cultist with more force as she aimed at the huge Lacrima.
Lockine noticed this and desperately grabbed the sword. Spike Magic: Piercing Cage! This time, there were fewer spikes that was conjured, and it was not forming within the ground. He used himself as a medium, increasing the output of his magic.
Kagura avoided the blow as she landed not far from him. She observed the spikes that looked larger, yet their presence felt a lot more dangerous. Although cautious, she still noted the effects of Ordo's Obscurtias Spell.
Holding this advantage should be the main priority, and finishing their battles under these conditions could be a major boon if the guild master awakens from his slumber.
She wryly smiled while remembering the dragon slayer running in with a joyful expression. I hope Natsu-san still remembers what Ordo said. Kagura was worried, but she trusted his prowess.
Then, her eyes witnessed Lockine fusing with the spikes. The blight's entire being vanished, hidden within the jagged cage he created.
Understanding that this was a problem, she heightened her senses to the max. The moment he would graze the thin sound armor around her, Archenemy would track his signature instantly.
Kagura patiently waited for the man's next move, her figure in a drawing stance. A hand slowly manifested above her, the spike bending a little to accommodate the physical body.
It then shot out with blinding speed as Lockine expected a pierced head afterwards. But the result of his attack wouldn't become true, since the woman swiftly dodged as soon as the spike made contact with her thin sound armor.
This heretic has unfair reaction time! Oh, Zeref… Please bless me with means to deal with this ignorant fool.
Kagura turned around as she slashed above her, the spike cut in twain from her relentless swordsmanship. The man disappeared again, looking for another opportunity.
"A good strategy." She coolly remarked. "But if your spikes are this fragile, its useless." He continued to observe her within the interior of one of his spikes, his pride crumbling while gritting his teeth even harder this time.
This time, Kagura infused gravity on Archenemy, doing a drawing stance again. Before the blight could blink, dozens of slashes were sent across the entire magic cage he invoked.
The spike that Lockine was in was also within her range, grunting in pain as he was covered in injuries by the attack.
What Kagura did was but a spur of the moment, given that she was surrounded by spikes with highly-concentrated magical power. She applied her gravity change on one of Archenemy's Skills: Slice Form, making the weapon even lighter.
This combination didn't counteract with one another, making the strike precise and smooth. An instinctive decision to break out of the blight's territory.
The Lacrima was just behind Kagura, tempting her to turn around and destroy it right now. But she didn't, because the man in front of her was gazing at her with looks that could kill.
Heretic. Heretic. HERETIC! This woman is an obstacle to the honorable Black Wizard! I must use my strongest version of my spikes to end her!
Spike Magic: Imperishable Armor!
Lockine's spikes converged across his body, forming jet-black armor composed of them. After he finished, he circulated his magical power around his spiked gloves, generating long spikes that resembled lances.
Kagura's expression remained stoic, with no injury or blemish on her throughout the entire fight. She simply welcomed the challenge fearlessly.
Nobody within Dark Sky expected such a surprise, in which they were overwhelmed from the get-go.
The fairies have started their assault with unstoppable momentum.
