The Chapter get Retranslated
He checked the washing machine; there were three minutes left. Just as he was about to wait a bit longer, the soldier from the drying room floated out with a small box and smiled.
"Mikazuki Augus, the Captain ordered that once your clothes are washed, they should be immediately sent to the drying room. After they're dry, they'll be delivered directly to your room. You don't need to wait here."
"I see. Thank you for the trouble."
"It's nothing. Oh, by the way, these are the things from your coat pocket. The Captain organized them all for you."
He handed the box in his hand to Mikazuki. Opening it, Mikazuki saw the remaining dates and his earpiece from his coat pocket.
He had been worried in the shower that these dates might have been thrown into the washing machine along with his clothes.
"Thank you."
"If you want to thank someone, thank the Captain. But I don't think you need to.
Because you saved us, right? It's actually quite funny, being confined by our own comrades."
The soldier's tone was somewhat self-mocking.
Mikazuki put the dates back into his pocket, looked up, and said, "It wasn't confinement. They wanted to kill all of you, everyone on the Archangel."
The soldier's pupils constricted.
"What?!"
On the bridge.
Murrue, Natarle, and Mu were discussing what to do next. There wasn't much drinking water left on the ship, and resupply was the most important thing right now. Otherwise, let alone returning to Lunar Headquarters, they would die of thirst before the ZAFT military even arrived.
Gerard slowly woke up again. His bullet wounds were stabilized, but the first thing he did upon waking was to check if Mikazuki was around. Seeing no sign of Mikazuki on the bridge, he finally relaxed.
He yelled at Murrue and the others, who were gathered together in front, "Murrue Ramius, what are you doing? Release me at once!"
Murrue, troubled by what to do next, frowned at the annoying voice and turned to look. Gerard floated there, staring at her with a grim face.
"Rear Admiral, you don't seem to understand the situation. Artemis is gone."
"What? Artemis is gone? Hahahahahahaha, Captain Ramius, are you joking?
No one in this world can breach Artemis's light-layer defense network. You say my fortress is gone, that truly makes me laugh until my teeth fall out."
Gerard burst into laughter as if he had heard the funniest joke in his life, but the pain from his wound made him stop laughing and gasp for air.
Mu walked up to Gerard and tossed a tablet, which floated in front of Gerard's head.
"You bastard, you..."
"See for yourself what happened while you were unconscious. Because you wouldn't believe anything we say, would you?"
Mu shrugged and leaned back in a chair, crossing his arms.
Gerard was about to say something else, but his expression froze when he saw the screen on the tablet, and the words he wanted to say were swallowed back.
Ten minutes later, Gerard floated limply in the air, staring blankly ahead.
"How could this be... my... Artemis... gone..."
Murrue said coldly, "That's your 'absolute.' Thanks to you, the Archangel's resupply hasn't happened, wasting time."
"You... why didn't you engage? As fellow members of the Alliance, you deserted in the face of battle. You'll face a military tribunal, you bastards!"
Murrue's face darkened.
"Military..."
Whoosh
The bridge door slid open. Mikazuki, casually dressed in an Earth Alliance military jacket, floated in under Gerard's terrified gaze.
"De... demon..."
Mikazuki didn't notice at first, but hearing the stammering words, he turned his head.
"Huh? What is it? You're still alive? I thought you'd already been thrown out."
"Demon, it's all you! If you hadn't appeared, how would my Artemis have been attacked? It's all you!"
"How bold of you to say that."
Mikazuki's eyes turned cold. His right hand went to his waist, and a pistol appeared in his hand, its muzzle pointing at Gerard.
"I don't mind giving you another shot."
"Wait, Mikazuki, he's an Earth Alliance Rear Admiral."
Murrue quickly stepped forward to stop him, but Mikazuki shook off her hand, speaking in an aloof tone.
"Who he is has nothing to do with me. Because he's an enemy.
And he was planning to kill all of you. Why keep him? Do you want to be destroyed?"
"Kill us? What does that mean?"
Natarle caught the key point in Mikazuki's words and quickly asked.
Mikazuki glanced at her indifferently and said, "He was planning to get his hands on all the data for this warship and Gundam, and after figuring everything out, he would kill everyone on this warship, including the civilians."
Murrue's eyes blazed as she looked at Gerard.
"Is that true, Rear Admiral?"
Gerard immediately broke out in a cold sweat, denying it in a panic.
"Don't talk nonsense. I am a Rear Admiral of the Eurasian Federation. How could I harm my own comrades?"
Mikazuki tilted his head.
"Nonsense? This is what I heard from the guy who appeared outside my room. Is it false?"
"Ugh..."
Gerard now wished he could find that loose-mouthed bastard and shoot him a hundred, a thousand times.
How could he not control his mouth? Were the military's confidentiality regulations just for show?
"No... that's just what he said. It's not true, really, it's nonsense. How could I ever harm my fellow Naturals?"
Murrue and Natarle exchanged glances, both seeing the dilemma in each other's eyes. What should they do? Should they keep this Rear Admiral or...?
Before they could think of a solution,
Four gunshots echoed clearly on the bridge. After the gunshots, a calm yet indifferent voice emerged.
"So... just kill them..."
