Chapter 5 - New Draw, New Wand, New Harry

Three weeks had passed since Harry moved into the le Fay castle, and he couldn't have been happier. The castle, reminiscent of Hogwarts, was located on an island off the British coast, deep in the ocean.

Fortunately, the castle and subsequently the island were under an ancient and powerful version of the Fidelius Charm, tied to the le Fay magical inheritance.

This meant that regardless of people knowing of its existence, unless Harry granted them access, they would never be able to enter. The wards were so strong, thanks to the island being directly above a leyline, that it was impenetrable.

Harry had hoped for house elves, but unfortunately, either due to nefarious reasons or the passage of time, none of the houses he held Lordship for had any alive.

While a minor annoyance, he was content with the circumstances.

After exploring the massive island and castle, Harry had discovered that the le Fay library was hidden deep within the earth, next to the ward stone, which he had gained access and control over.

It was now the day before his birthday, and he was going through multiple plans he had devised.

Seated in a plush office, he was scratching a quill against parchment, making notes.

"I have a draw available today, so hopefully it will give me something helpful. Thankfully, Morgana's wand was left in the treasury, so I can practice my magic."

A pitch-black wand, reminiscent of the darkness of a black hole, lay on the table.

Harry couldn't help but hum as he picked it up, twirling it between his fingers; the thrum of power the wand held was breathtaking. He had found the wand inside the le Fay library, sitting atop a note from Morgana le Fay herself. She spoke about the wand being made from the rarest material she had found in her life, creating the ultimate wand.

The wand was crafted from the Heartwood of an ancient willow tree located in the center of Avalon.

Its core was from the first Basilisk ever birthed, the Queen of their species, her venomous tears crystallized into the core. The wand was 14 inches long, utterly unyielding, and its power was unfathomable.

Placing the wand down, Harry looked at his notes.

"I'll use the Portkey to return to Diagon Alley this afternoon, before going back to the Dursleys. No doubt they'll be inundated with letters addressed to my last location. The bastards won't be able to touch me, as I'm an adult, so I can scare them with the magic I've learned in these last three weeks. By then, Hagrid should arrive to 'help' me."

Though the plan was convoluted, Harry was playing the long con.

Once he completed his shopping, he was going to find a way to move the blood wards to Petunia so they would draw from her, instead of Harry. Once that was complete, he would use the Phoenix Tears to remove all the bad magic and bindings without Dumbledore knowing.

Nodding at his plan, Harry vanished the parchment away, as he didn't want physical proof of his intentions.

Standing up, he walked to the large windows that looked out from the peak of the castle to the ocean.

'System, do my pull,' he commanded mentally.

Once again, the panel switched to a roulette wheel.

This time, Harry watched the spinning comfortably, his hopes high for something to aid him.

[Ding!]

[Congratulations for obtaining Ancient Elven Passage.]

Harry's eyebrows rose high as he read the pull. Though he wasn't sure exactly what it was, he had an inkling of its general nature. Focusing on the reward, he began reading its information.

[Ancient Elven Passage: You command a silent and traceless teleportation, a primordial magic of ancient elves that is utterly undetectable and bypasses all magical wards, even those for house-elf apparition. You can effortlessly transport yourself and others through any magical barrier.]

A loud laugh escaped Harry as he re-read the information, his mind alight with possibilities.

"Oh, this is fuckin' fantastic!" he said happily. "I can just teleport to the Dursleys. Plus, using this in combat will be insane. Silent and traceless movement, I wonder how far I can actually move? System, integrate the ability!"

Though no physical sensations appeared, Harry's mind received an incomprehensible amount of information, as his magic began understanding and attuning to elven means of transport.

Quickly pocketing his new wand, he closed his eyes and concentrated on the living room of the Dursleys' home.

Within a millisecond, his body disappeared from its position and traveled through space, silently appearing at his destination.

His appearance was welcomed by a chorus of shouts and screams, thanks to the occupants of the home.

Vernon Dursley, seated in his favorite chair, started screaming.

"FREAK! What are you doing here? How dare you use your freakishness in our home!" He struggled to get up, his face turning purple.

Petunia clutched onto Dudley, her eyes wide and fearful as she stared at her nephew, who had used magic.

Turning to the family, Harry sported a vicious grin as his wand snapped into his hand. Seeing the item, Petunia and Vernon froze momentarily.

"Hello uncle, aunt, cousin," Harry spoke slowly. "You know, I've had a very... enlightening few weeks. I was wondering if you could answer a few questions?" His smile sent a shiver down the family's spines.

Vernon, never one to think before acting, launched his fat body off the recliner, intending to beat the boy down.

Seeing the man move, Harry flicked his wand forward harshly as he silently banished the man backward. Almost like a rocket, Vernon shot through the room into the brick wall, his head striking the brick, and he fell to the floor, dazed.

"How unbecoming, uncle. I thought you'd be happy to see your favorite nephew."

Taking a step forward, Harry smirked as he watched Dudley and Petunia cower in fear.

"Here is how it's going to be from now on," Harry said slowly, looking at each person. "I'm aware of my heritage now, and what I am. Yes, I know I'm a wizard. I'm sure you've been receiving a bunch of letters from Hogwarts, no?"

Petunia merely nodded quickly, her eyes darting to Vernon and his dazed look.

"Amazing. Well, I'll be staying here till someone picks me up tomorrow. Once they've taken me to collect my school supplies, I'll stay here sporadically, till I leave for school. This will be the last time we meet, I can assure you. Does everyone agree?"

The room was silent, as Petunia was too scared to speak. Vernon was seething, though he was too fearful to say anything.

Seeing as he wasn't getting a response, Harry flicked his wand as he levitated Petunia to the ceiling.

"I SAID. Does everyone agree?" His voice rang out, louder, more powerful.

"YES!" Vernon bellowed, his eyes watching Petunia slowly be lowered to the floor.

Harry smiled widely. He knew his act needed to be vicious, as that was the only way to get through the people who were content almost killing an innocent child.

"Fantastic, uncle!" His voice chilled them to the core as he continued. "Now, if you speak out about this to anyone, I have a horde of Goblin friends who are more than happy to rain down karmic retribution upon you and your family. So mum's the word, okay?"

Skipping up the stairs, Harry shouted out once more. "I'll take the spare room! Thanks!"
