The next day at school, Ray walked into the Art class with a slightly different attitude. He had promised Amy that he would try to be nicer to milicent, and he was compelled to keep his promise.
As he scanned the room, his eyes landed on milicent, who was sitting in the same seat as the day before. She looked up and caught his eye, and for a moment, they just stared at each other.
milicent felt a slight flutter in her chest, but she pushed it aside. He wasn't going to let herself get distracted by Ray's big brown eyes, or even his awesome smile.

He walked over to his seat and sat down, trying to join up and focus on the lesson since he came in a bit late . he raised his brow giving a sneaking glances at Milicent, who was taking diligent notes and trying to participate in the class discussion.

At one point, the teacher asked a question , and seeing that milicent was a new student , asked her to give it a try,mam" milicent called obviously not knowing the answer to it , Madison the class captain who sat closed to her , wasn't hesitant felt a pang of sympathy,and leaning over towards her whispered the answer in her ear, trying not to make a big deal out of it.
She looked up at him in surprise, but then a small smile played on her lips. "Thanks," she whispered back.

Madison tapped her and looking at him she felt a tiny spark of connection with him, why so , she tried to get her brain back to its senses ,
and yet she couldn't help but wonder if maybe, just maybe, she had misjudged Madison for been a school bully even though he was the class captain
As the class had continued, Jasmine Ryder's girlfriend and her cliques, who was sitting nearby, began to snicker and whisper as They were clearly trying to intimidate milicent,
one could see the fear
and uncertainty in her eyes.
"Jasmine, who was never one to miss an opportunity to bully someone, spoke up loudly. "Hey, look at the new girl thinks she's so smart," she sneered, her voice dripping with malice. "I mean, she's just an ordinary chef and maid, right?

Ray who has his earphones on , swiftly brought it down to get the scenario clear ,
he Could see the hurt and embarrassment in her eyes, and he felt a surge of anger towards Jasmine for been such a misfit .

But right then, something unexpected happened. Milicent stood up, her eyes flashing with tears . "I may be a chef and a maid," she said, her voice clear but shaky . "But I'm also Human and as a new student, I have just as much right to be here as any of you."

I guess the bullies just got bullied Madison laughed.
The class erupted into applause, with many students cheering and whistling. RAY found himself joining in, impressed by his chef bravery and confidence.
Jasmine and her cliques on the other hand, looked like they had been slapped. They were clearly not used to being stood up to, and they didn't know how best to react.
The teacher, who had been watching the exchange with interest, smiled warmly at milicent "Well done, Millicent," she said. "You've shown great courage and conviction. I think you're going to fit in just fine here."
And the bullies would be more cautious!!

As the days went by, Millicent settled into her new routine at school. She was surprised to find that she was actually enjoying herself, despite the initial rocky start with Jasmine .
it was lunch time in school, while sitting in the cafeteria during lunch, Millicent noticed a girl sitting alone at a nearby table. The girl had a book open in front of her and was completely absorbed in her reading.
feeling a pang of curiosity she decided to introduce herself. She walked over to the girl's table and cleared her throat to get her attention.
The girl looked up, startled, and Millicent was struck by her bright blue eyes and warm smile. "Hi," the girl said, closing her book. "I'm Helen
Millicent smiled back grasping a chair she sat with her food and introduced herself. The two girls started chatting, and Millicent was surprised to find how much they had in common. They both loved reading, hiking, and trying out new recipes.
As they talked, Millicent realized that Helen was one of the kindest and most genuine people she had ever met. Helen didn't seem to care about the social hierarchy of the school or the drama that came with it. She was just a happy, laid-back person who loved making new friends.
Millicent felt a weight lift off her shoulders as she realized she had found a true friend in Helen. For the first time since starting at the new school, she felt like she belonged.
From that day on, Millicent and Helen were inseparable. They sat together at lunch, partnered up for projects, and even started a book club together.
Ray who mostly kept a distance from her in school, had been watching Millicent from afar, couldn't help but notice the change in her. She seemed happier, more confident, and more at ease in her new surroundings.
He found himself wondering if maybe, just maybe, he could be her friend, Maybe she was more than just a servant or a new student. Maybe she was someone worth getting to know.....
