It was Evening Time....
and it was almost time for dinner
but Ray remember that
The night before, their father had called a family breakfast, saying he had something important to discuss with the family. The message was brief, but the tone was serious enough to pique everyone's curiosity.
"What's this about, dear?" Amy asked as she helped she helped herself with the water jar.
"I'll tell you all about it tomorrow," their father replied, smiling mysteriously.

The next morning, the family gathered around the breakfast table, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and baked pastries filling the air. father took a deep breath, savoring the moment.
"Okay, everyone," he began, "I wanted to talk to you about the future of my company. I've been thinking a lot about retirement, and I've made a decision that I think will benefit everyone."
He paused, looking at his sons.
"Ray and Ryder, you both have different strengths and talents, and I think it's time to recognize that and utilize them accordingly," he explained.
As he spoke, the brothers exchanged a glance, their expressions a mix of curiosity and apprehension. What did their father have in mind?
Their mothers, seated on either side of their father, listened intently, their faces filled with interest and concern.

he said firmly

well I believe that Ray has the charisma and leadership skills to lead the company further
Emily chipped in
cut it down Matilda Ryder Mom spoke in anger yet in defense for her son
"I always knew Ryder had what it takes to lead," she said, smiling at her son.
Ray's mom, not one to back down, countered with a smile of her own.
"Oh, I think Ray's calm and sensible nature makes him the perfect fit for the finance division," she said.

sir Back-woods , sensing the tension, intervened.
"Enough," he said firmly, holding up his hands.

The mothers stopped arguing, but the tension remained.
father turned to Ryder.
"Ray, I want you to know that I've given you this opportunity because I believe in you. But I also want to make it clear that you'll need to work closely with Ryder and prove yourself, because you're already on my black list
so Can you do that?"
Ray nodded, determination in his eyes.
"Yes, Dad. I won't let you down."

"well there's Absolutely no way I and my son will agree to this crap

she flipped a glass to the wall and walked out angrily
father smiled, seemingly satisfied.
"Good. Now, I'm going to leave the table, but remember, Ray your success depends on your ability to work with your brother and prove yourself. Don't disappoint me."
With that, their father stood up and left the table, leaving the family to digest the news
Ryder looked at Ray, a mix of emotions Ryder's gaze locked onto mine. His smile was a whisper, a hint of secrets hidden behind his eyes "business," he said, his voice low and smooth. But I knew better; his eyes betrayed a sinister intent. I felt a shiver run down my spine.
milicent who watched the announcement saga felt a discomforting feeling settled in her stomach. Sir back wood instructions seemed innocent enough - just a father wanting his sons to bond over business - but milicent's intuition screamed otherwise. She sensed Ryder's underlying tension, his words laced with subtle barbs. What was he planning?
And how could she support Ray without getting caught in the crossfire? milicent's mind whirled with possibilities as she ignited to observed the brothers' interaction, her instincts on high alert.
Ray walked out of the dinning Room
feeling a slight headache

He entered his room and tucked himself under the sheets
trying to sleep when he heard his mom's voice calling out from the door . "Ray! Ray, come open the door here, we need to talk!"
it's opened mom he said with his last ounce of strength
"Hey, sweetie, can we talk?" she asked, sitting beside him.
Ray nodded, despite he was tired
but sensing his mom wanted to discuss the dinner conversation. Emily took a deep breath. "I know your dad's announcement about you and your brother working together to take over the company sounds... complicated. But I want you to focus on your priorities: school and your own goals."
She looked him straight in the eye. "Remember, 'the best way to predict your future is to create it.' Don't get too caught up in what others expect. Pursue your passions, work hard, and stay true to yourself."
giving a pause she smiled warmly. "As the saying goes, 'the greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.' You'll face challenges, but with perseverance and determination, you'll overcome them."
She hugged him tightly. "Just be your amazing self, Ray , I've raised you the best way I can and you'll achieve great things. Your dad's expectations don't define your worth or potential."

Ray's heart sank as he heard the tone in his mom's voice. It wasn't a happy tone, and he could tell she was trying to hold up . He tucked out the sheets and reluctantly got up from his Bed, And gave Mom a warm hug.
and a soft kiss I love you Mom.
I want you to tell me everything from now on,
