Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

Gatto Notes:Hello there!! I hope you enjoy my fanfic!!

Ps:This may or may not become a smut fic, it depends on you guys, *wink*

[=============================]

In darkest day, In blackest Night.

In a certain Void bereft of light.

A flickering light manifested, and upon closer look, turned out to be a faintly glowing soul, floating towards no destination in mind.

The soul with closed eyes, didn't even know where he was or where he would end up.

Suddenly, an even brighter light materialized from out of nowhere, lighting up the previously dark void in a flash, before the light compressed into a ball of multi-color luminescent light that shot towards the sleeping wandering soul.

Yet, the soul did not notice any of that, as it's faint light slowly started to become brighter and brighter, Untill—

*Fwooooosh*

The Soul suddenly started to fly at light speed— nay, even faster than it.

Seemingly getting attracted to something, Yet, the soul never opened its eyes once.

And when he opened them, He found himself, not at the comfort of his cozy Room, but at a foreign place, looking utterly confused.

...

.....

"....huh? Where am I?"I asked in confusion. Looking around the unfamiliar room I found myself in.

The room was—Modest at best, bereft of anything other than a bed, mirror and a closet.

The walls were painted green, which strangely enough, reminds me of a certain god of mischief.

But— the wall wasn't the thing that got his attention the most.

It was the Mirror, mounted on the old closet that took the spot— Well, not exactly the mirror, but what it reflected.

"Eh?" I looked at the mirror blankly, seeing an absurdly unfamiliar face.

Why?

Because the mirror reflected not my body, but the body of a child!

"WHAT!?!" I stood up abruptly, but I fell back down, as memories suddenly flooded my head, making me dizzy.

And— what's more, I didn't fall back on the bed, instead, I felt my body hit a hard cold stone floor, making me groan in pain.

"Ughh…" I held my head in pain, as I tried to get up from the cold and hard floor.

Yet, my mind wasn't focused on the strange place I found myself in because I was tied to comprehending the memories I received, or rather— recovered.

"*Sigh*…A Pretty complicated life." I muttered with a troubled face.

Born as an Illegitimate son of the Lord of house Agares—one of the 72–now turned 32 Pillar Clans of the Underworld.

"Shiiiii…. DxD, huh?" I muttered with mixed feelings.

Don't get me wrong. I always dreamed of reincarnating in this very same world full of country toppling beauties, but—.

In reality, this world is very dangerous.

With beings capable of literally destroying this world if they wanted to.

And Being just a part of the 72 pillars, an Illegitimate son no less, was in fact, not enough to live comfortably in this world, while building a harem.

"Wow… Straight up wanting to start a harem despite being just a kid, huh?"

"Im really…."

I sighed in frustration, as I decided to look more into my memories of this world.

'Hmmm… I see, I see… Guess my father still has some conscience after all.' I thought as I finished recalling yet another interesting fact about myself.

The fact that my father, Lord Kaldezar Agares, didn't leave me and my mother empty handed.

He constantly sends us money yearly, enough to raise me and for us to live comfortably.

My mother also understood, and didn't get mad at the fact that she was a 'mere side woman' because in her words.

"A Devil will most certainly outlive a human like her" so it doesn't matter if she only gets to be with my father for a short time.

"Mother…" I smiled bitterly at that term, because— My mother in this life, passed away a month ago.

She died due to an unknown disease that apparently made her very sickly, to the point that she was no more than "stick and bones"

*Ptap*

*Ptap*

*Sniff*

"Haah…" I wiped the tears that unconsciously dripped down from my eyes.

"If only I had gotten my memories back just a year earlier…" I muttered bitterly, because I'm certain that this ailment would have been treated if I brought it up to my father.

Was I mad at him for abandoning the two of us?

No, hardly so… because the man was genuinely a kind individual to us.

He was a family man-devil, who— Took a liking to Gunplas, which was the same reason why he and mother met in the first place.

Unfortunately, he was also the leader of the Agares clan, meaning, he had responsibilities at the underworld, and he also had a family there.

His official one, not like us, an Illegitimate one.

He has a reputation to keep as the head of the second most powerful clan of the 72 pillars... Mother knows that, that's why she didn't want to bother him.

"Sigh…" I took a deep breath to Pace myself.

I then finally let my eyes wander upon this place I found myself in.

One word came to mind immediately.

"A Temple?" I looked around, puzzled, and suddenly my eyes locked in the middle of the room.

There lay an altar.

A summoning altar to be exact, made of white marble stone.

It Looked– Mystical, as the crevice of the altar glowed in golden radiant light, making it look not just mystical, but holy as well.

Strangely enough, there was a board made of the same material as the altar, standing on the right side of the stairs leading up the altar.

I walked closely to examine it, and was shocked to find it spouting a hologram.

"A Gacha Banner!?" I looked at the hologram, baffled, as its appearance was without a doubt, similar to the Gacha banners I'm all too familiar with.

An Image of featured characters or items, a timer signifying that this banner has a time limit, and a "1x Summon and 10x Summon Button" right next to each other.

On the bottom of the two buttons, were the costs that are used to roll the Gacha itself.

The Item looked to be a prismatic diamond, emitting rainbow light.

It costs exactly 1 Prismatic Diamond to roll the Gacha once, and 9 of them to roll 10x.

"Hmm… and how many of this diamond do I have?" I scrutinized the screen to see if there's any indicator of the amount of Prismatic Diamond or PD that I have, and found it not long after.

"20, huh?" I muttered, before I looked at the banner that's currently active.

"!!!!, They are… The Witches of Re:Zero?!" I exclaimed, excitement was palpable as I looked at the image of the 8 witches of sin, plus a black silhouette of Reinhardt, and Volcanica.

And another interesting one was the image of two short haired female maids, who looked identical to each other, sans their *ahem* bust size and hair/eye color.

It was Rem and Ram, and they shared one rarity of 4★.

And as for the featured weapons, The Ten swords of power.

Which of course, featured the Dragon Sword(Reid), in the middle.

The witches— sans Satella were rated as 5★, while Reinhard, Volcanica and Satella were rated 6★.

And as for the Ten swords of Powers, all of them, with the exception of the Dragon Sword(Reid) which was rated as 5★ were all 4★.

"Deep breaths! Deep Breaths!" I said to myself, trying to calm myself down, but to no avail.

Eventually, I was able to make myself calm enough to think about whether I should use my current P.D's.

"Okay, I have 20 Prismatic Diamond's, and currently, I do not know how I can get more of them yet.

Meanwhile, the Re:Zero banner, while the featured characters I might be able to obtain are all super strong, the pull rate left much to be desired.

1-Star: 50%

2-Star: 28%

3-Star: 13%

4-Star: 8.4%

5-Star: 0.5%

6-Star: 0.1%

And while there is a [Pity system], the pity for 5 stars starts at 50 pulls, where the percentage rate goes up, until 80 pulls where I can get guaranteed 5 stars.

As for 6 stars… it starts at 70, up till 100 pulls.

Each Pull starting from 50(5★) or 70(6★) raises the chances by 0.1% percent.

And I can only choose one pity, so I can either use the guaranteed 5★ pull at 80, or wait until my roll reaches 100 to guarantee the 6★ pull.

Plus, If I obtain a 5 or 6★ characters or weapons before I meet the pity, then the counter will reset.

And unfortunately, I only have 20 Prismatic Diamond's, so—

I'm a bit hesitant if I want to use them now, or wait a week later when the Banner Resets.

And as for questioning why or how I have this temple or if I even own it..

I didn't even think of it.

"Why should I bother stressing myself out with those questions when I can just enjoy this while it lasts?"

I don't really care If this entire thing is a dream or not, or whether this place will disappear along with the characters, weapons, and powers I pull or not.

I know I am not able to do anything, I'm powerless, after all.

In the end, I decided to draw either way, whatever I get, that's fine. Even If I only get a single 4 star, which I was guaranteed to get since I will be able to get 4★ characters or weapons every 20 draws.

 "Let's begin!"

I muttered rather loudly, to ease my nervousness, before I pressed the

"10x pull" for the first time.

And—
