Camille stood smugly in Dami's office.
"Yes, I filed the annulment. Technically, I'm still your emergency contact—and I used that to access your legal portal. I just did what you were too scared to do."
Teni's jaw dropped. "You committed cybercrime because you couldn't handle your own rejection?"
Camille smiled. "Oh sweetheart, this was never about you. It's about what's best for him."
Dami stood up, his voice cold. "What's best for me is not you, Camille."
"But she's ruining your career!"
"She's saving my life."
Camille blinked.
Teni turned to Dami. "Did you mean that?"
"I've never meant anything more."
Just then, the lawyer called.
Apparently, the annulment didn't go through.
Why?
Because the court needed Teni's signature—and she had just written "LMAO, not today" across the document.
