Jiang Qi's gaze was fixed intently on Shen Yi, who was driving. A strange satisfaction pulsed through Jiang Qi, a thrill from having managed to rattle the usually composed and gentle Shen Yi he knew. Not long after, another mischievous idea bubbled into Jiang Qi's mind. He cleared his throat, straightened his face, and then, with an air of mock seriousness, asked Shen Yi. "Why were you so unreasonable earlier?"
Shen Yi, still seething from the earlier incident, frowned deeply and cast a brief, questioning glance at Jiang Qi.
Jiang Qi pressed on, and asked, "You could have at least let me have an hour to do my thing." He hadn't truly considered the repercussions of his words.
