After staying upstairs for a while, Miles Morgan prepared to go downstairs to talk to Mrs. Monroe and Anna Morgan.
"Miles!"
Ivy Preston called out to Miles, speaking in a gentle tone.
Miles turned his head and immediately saw Ivy's flushed cheeks.
A servant came up with ice for Ivy to apply to her face, and Ivy theatrically applied it briefly.
She wished to keep the red marks on her face longer to make Miles pity her and despise Mrs. Monroe and her daughter.
"Is it inappropriate for me to stay here?"
"I want to move out with Yara."
Ivy spoke softly.
"Oh?" Miles replied slowly, neither agreeing nor disagreeing.
"It's my fault that your relationship with Mrs. Monroe became like this."
"No matter what, you and she have been married for so many years, and you have Eldest Master Monroe and Anna Morgan; it's better not to divorce."
