"If I were you, I wouldn't even want such an ungrateful, disloyal daughter!"
After Ruth Hale finished speaking, she turned her gaze to Zoe Quinn and tenderly reached out to remove the rice from Zoe's hair. Then she said to Claire Sullivan, "Anyway, you already have Zoe as your daughter now."
"Zoe, ride with me, okay?"
"Sure!"
Zoe replied, knowing that Ruth's words would certainly make Claire reflect deeply and perhaps lead her to abandon Serena Sullivan.
Moreover, she wanted to know what plan Ruth had devised to deal with Serena.
"Mom, we're leaving now."
Before getting into the car, Zoe politely said goodbye to Claire.
Claire watched them get into the car and walked over to say something, but the window rolled up. Inside, Zoe was smiling as she chatted with Ruth.
Instead of finding their closeness excessive, Claire felt that she had been too biased toward Serena, hurting Zoe's feelings due to Ruth's words.
