"Zoe!"
Ignoring Claire Sullivan nearby, Ruth Hale rushed over and, seeing Zoe Quinn being bullied so pitifully by Serena Sullivan, tears welled up in her eyes.
"Aunt Ruth!"
Ruth Hale came over, and Zoe Quinn, feeling wronged, also began to cry.
"What's happened to you? Who did this to you?"
Even though she knew, Ruth Hale still asked again.
"It was my sister."
Zoe Quinn was truly feeling aggrieved, and her tears, falling like a torrent, made Ruth Hale's heart ache terribly.
"Serena, that bitch!"
Thinking about what Serena had done to Zoe, Ruth couldn't control herself, gritting her teeth and fiercely cursing in front of Claire Sullivan.
Claire Sullivan's expression shifted upon hearing the word "bitch"; after all, Serena was her daughter.
"Serena was wrong..."
Claire Sullivan said softly when asking Serena to speak, and an angry Ruth Hale let go of Zoe Quinn and interrupted, "Claire Sullivan, do you even consider Zoe your daughter?"
