Chapter 14 - Chapter 14: The Interception of the Stormtroopers

Following Order 66, nearly all Jedi Knights were killed, though a few managed to escape.

The Imperial Inquisitors were an organization created by Darth Sidious, the Sith Emperor, to hunt down and eliminate the escaped Jedi.

They would also search far and wide for children with Force potential and guide them to the dark side.

Most Inquisitors are former Jedi who have fallen to the dark side. Some did so voluntarily, while many were driven to the dark side by torture and the resulting pain and anger.

After joining the dark side, their Force abilities surge under the influence of their emotions, far surpassing their abilities as Jedi Knights.

Under Darth Vader's brutal training, they reach their full potential, becoming unquestionably ruthless killing machines.

Although he has some confidence in his combat and shooting skills, his priority now is to escape. He shouldn't confront her.

Besides, he clearly can't beat her; she was wielding a lightsaber, and one wrong move could split him in two. He also had a lightsaber, but he wasn't sure if he could activate it.

"Go connect with the cargo hold and wait for me," Amir said to the blue elf.

Lensys didn't respond, simply turning around and leaving, which made Amir feel a little less worried. At least he wasn't saving an idiot.

Amir went into full alert mode, gripping his blaster tightly and switching it to beam mode.

"Aren't you going to run?" The female Imperial Inquisitor walked toward Amir with a casual stride. "A cowardly brat like you—who gave you the courage to confront me?"

Though he was wearing a helmet, it was clear that Amir hadn't reached adulthood yet.

"Aren't you going to help your teammates? They're in danger right now," Amir said.

"You're the one in danger!" Ignoring Amir, the Imperial Inquisitor activated her double-bladed lightsaber and advanced toward him.

Amir surveyed the corridor he was in. There were three valves in total. These valves were primarily used to seal off vacuum environments in case the spaceship was damaged.

Now, however, they could be used to block the enemy in front of him.

Amir watched the Imperial Inquisitor's footsteps. The Inquisitor had already crossed the first valve and was heading toward the second, with the third not far behind Amir.

Unfortunately, BD-4 wasn't there. Amir could only use his blaster to shoot the switch and completely lock the valve. However, if he hit the wrong spot, the valve wouldn't close.

Fortunately, Amir had studied this before and his prolonged observation allowed him to determine the exact shooting position.

He quickly raised his hand and fired a shot at the second valve. The beam struck the switch, erupting in a shower of sparks. The valve reacted immediately and began to close rapidly.

Seeing the door close, the Imperial Inquisitor charged toward Amir at an inhuman speed. At this rate, she could reach him before the valve closed completely.

However, Amir didn't try to stop her with gunfire. Instead, he turned around and shot the switch of the third valve, causing the two valves to close almost simultaneously.

Amir ran toward the third valve as soon as the valves began to close.

After the Imperial Inquisitor sidestepped the second valve, which had only a narrow gap, Amir had already run past the third valve. It's important to note that he was much closer to the valve than the Inquisitor was.

The two valves closed at the same time, and Amir turned around and waved to the Seventh Sister.

The Seventh Sister angrily thrust her lightsaber into the third valve. The high-energy blade melted the alloy valve, shining through on the other side. She forcefully moved the lightsaber to one side and slowly cut open the hard valve.

After climbing over the valve, Amir made his way toward his spaceship, closing and locking all the valves along the way.

After turning a corner, he arrived at a port and suddenly noticed a Stormtrooper who seemed lost, standing in front of the opposite door. At that moment, the soldier also noticed Amir and instantly raised his blaster.

Stormtrooper were a peculiar type of soldier. They were always firing but never hit their targets, which made their imposing armor appear comically cute. Of course, this was all part of the movie's visuals. In the film, the stormtrooper opponents were always Jedi Knights or other main characters with a "hero's aura," so the soldiers were always depicted with perfect body lines.

In the real world, however, Amir knew that while most stormtroopers were poorly trained, they were still a powerful force against ordinary people and the upholders of order.

So, when Amir spotted a lost stormtrooper in front of him, he thought about how to quickly knock the stormtrooper unconscious with the right stance and continue on his way.

He adjusted the blaster rifle to stun mode because he didn't want to kill anyone if he could help it.

The circular stun beam quickly flew toward the Ahsoka.

Surprisingly, the stormtrooper didn't just stand there and get hit by the stun beam. Instead, he rolled out of the way and quickly fired his own stun-mode blaster at Amir.

Amir dodged the attack with a sidestep and charged at the stormtrooper, intending to stun him at close range.

As he closed in, Amir raised his blaster pistol and struck the soldier's head with the gun's butt. The soldier immediately retreated, dropped his blaster, and reached out to grab Amir's wrist.

Seeing the stormtrooper abandon his gun and engage in hand-to-hand combat caused Amir to look at him with new respect. In all his years at the military academy, he had only seen one other person with such skill and courage.

Amir was forced to withdraw his right hand, drop the blaster pistol, and switch to a straight punch because, at this distance, a gun couldn't outpace a person.

The straight punch, packed with explosive force, slammed into the soldier's chest. The soldier raised both arms, using his crossed forearms to absorb the blow.

But Amir didn't stop. After the punch, he quickly raised his leg and kicked the same spot, sending the soldier flying backward into the wall with a muffled groan.

Just as Amir picked up the blaster pistol and was about to leave, the white-clad soldier who had been kneeling on the ground slowly stood up and assumed an offensive stance toward Amir.

. . .

The Imperial Inquisitor's Seventh Sister stared at the closed valve in front of her, recalling the figure in the helmet waving at her. Anger surged upward like a volcano, unable to be contained.

The lightsaber was about to cut through the valve.

"Once I open this valve, you're dead," she thought.

Ten seconds later, she had used the lightsaber to carve out a circular opening just large enough for her to pass through. She kicked it lightly, and a piece of the alloy plate fell off on the other side.

The Seventh Sister squeezed through the opening and sprinted forward. Upon reaching the end of the corridor, she saw another closed valve to her left and fell silent. Though the valve to her right was open, even a fool would know to run left.

She suddenly looked up at the ventilation shaft. The entrance was narrow but passable. She raised her lightsaber.

. . .

The Rebel Army had already rescued their two companions and brought them back to the ship, but Ahsoka had not returned yet.

The young man who had been injected by Amir was named Hak. He had already regained consciousness. Within his field of vision, Pax Ivanovich, the technician connected to the outside of the cabin, was still waiting silently.

"Pax," he shouted toward the door. "Who are the enemies? Is Ahsoka in danger?"

"Trust in Ahsoka," Pax replied calmly, leaning against the wall.

In the distance, Ahsoka was dueling with her lightsaber against the Fifth Brother. Although Amir had the upper hand, he had to be cautious of his enemy because Imperial Inquisitors often attacked recklessly and their dark side techniques were unpredictable.
