As i run on what would have been thin ice,if not for me constantly absorbing heat through my feet to make it thicker so that i don't fall through,
I jumped, all the while accelarating forward jumping over to the end of the iced over body of water ,and into the snow covered "oretell can you hear me" a voice came to my mind
"I can hear you zhalia"
"Good. Are you there yet?"
Allmost" i anwsered looking at a building that would have otherwise looked like a giant dome if not for the large triangles of glass which made no sense what kind of triangles make a dome?!!
"Its called a geodesic dome"zhalia said having undoutedly heard my thoughts
I fliched , realizing that i had forgoten to shield my thoughts aswell as my apparently stupid question
"OK zhals talk to you when im done"
"Uh huh sur" i sealed my thoughts gathered momentum than started runing forward and upward after thirty yards or so i came imfront of the dome
"Let's just get this over with" i could have used the door , but i didn't feel like it
I put my hand out infront of me by witch the triangular glass was starting to freeze afterwitch it shatered immidietly.
I steped in and started walking, there was no need to hesitate or look around to find the people in here, i could sense their heat so i knew exactly where to find them,
Across a green field litered with broken glass
And large heeps of snow were the people i am to save, the man in his thirties with brown hair and two blonde girls which his protecting with his body
Aperently they are the owners of this resort
Rich family and all that
Although there is a bunch snow and some debrie from a wooden house they did have a few fractures, "although uncuncius nothing serious" i thought
I started melting the snow first, then i started to lift the debrie which i did rather fast
I realesed the grip on my thoughts and projocted them
"Zhalia"
"Did you find them?" She asked
"Yeah they're out cold whith a few fractures but otherwise fine, all three of them"
"Three?,,there should be four"
"Oh come on, but there is no other heat signetures here" i said
Just as i did so i felt something moving,
It had quite a bit of kinetic energy as it did but for some reason it was imbalenced,as if it was larger somehow and stronger then it should be
"However its out side not inside"
"What's outside and not inside did you find the other person"
"I think yes and no, wait a moment ill go check"i said
I used pressure control to whirl the water around the man and girls in the shape of a sphere and started absorbing the heat from the ice slowly to make it as dense and strong as i could
After tapping the now four inch ice sphere once or twice i started runing full speed at the direction were the detected movement was
"Whatever it is, it doesn't have a heat signeture, is strong and large beyond symetry with its own body"
I saw its shadow through the glass and i rushed at it breaking the glass with my shoulder, shashing into it
The creature let out a whale as it was flown and crashed into a large, flat stone
It was dark evrything covered in snow, now that I looked at it from upclose the dome was next to a mountain
I went over to the creature, generating light and focusing it through my eyes to peer in the dark, i looked at the creature
" I recognized it as a human female as it had human clothing however her right arm shoulder as well as its head were black and monster- pelt like
It looked like something had fused with her concentrating itself to her right upper body wich is were it probably made contact so it was parasidic in nature
Wich explains the lack of a heat signeture.
A heat absorbant parasite in the ice cold mountens, whatever I'll just rip it apart
On second though maybe a less violent process may be neaded considering this a resque not extermination mission
A thought crossed over my mind.
Parasites have a need for hosts so that they can take what they themselvs don't have
With train of thought i draged the infected inside, using the snow to seal of the intire dome i then froze the snow so that it would seal the dome whithout any efort on my part
I began summing the heat that i had absorbt
That is a parasite that survives on heat but judging that it uses warm blooded humans im guessing its absorbance rate is low so as to not burn the victim i placed my hand to act as a medium i started infusing heat into the parasite through the right arm, no dout where it made contact with her
