"You cannot protect them forever Tennyson! Eventually they will all fall before me! There is no escape from my wrath!" Ben said nothing, but merely steeled himself for the coming storm. The portal flickered once more and died. The only option now, was to fight. As Ben watches his friends disappear, he roars at Vilgax with all of his remaining might. "You want a fight Vilgax, then come and get it! But I will never let you hurt my friends!"
Vilgax grinned, his crystal-encased body gleaming malevolently in the dim light. "Very well, Tennyson. I will enjoy crushing you myself." He lunged forward with incredible speed, his crystal-encased fists slamming into Ben's seismic armor. The impact sent Ben flying backwards, crashing into a pile of rubble. He struggled to his feet, his body aching, and his armor battered. He knew he couldn't win this fight through brute force. He needed a plan, a way to exploit Vilgax's weaknesses. But what were they? He glanced around the cavern, his mind racing. The collapsing crystalline structure… the Null Void energy… there had to be something he could use. Then he saw it. A faint energy signature, emanating from a shattered piece of Plumber tech, half-buried in the rubble. It was a Null Void energy regulator, designed to stabilize the dimension's volatile energy fields. It was damaged, but still functional. An idea sparked in Ben's mind, reckless and dangerous, but it was his only chance. He needed to get close enough to Vilgax to use the regulator, to disrupt his connection to the Null Void's energy source. But how? Vilgax was too powerful, too fast. He needed a distraction, a way to create an opening. He slammed his drills into the ground, unleashing a massive earthquake that sent the cavern into even greater chaos. Rocks and crystals rained down from the ceiling, creating a momentary screen of confusion. While Vilgax was distracted, Ben activated the Ultimatrix again, cycling through his available forms. He needed something fast, something agile, something that could exploit the chaos of the collapsing cavern. Then he saw it. Upgrade. A risky choice, considering the crystalline nature of Vilgax's new form, but it was his only hope. He slammed down on the Ultimatrix, transforming into Upgrade, his holographic body shimmering as he fused with the damaged Null Void energy regulator. The transformation was agonizing, his body contorting and reshaping as he merged with the alien tech. He felt the regulator's energy surging through him, amplified by his own powers, creating a volatile mix of alien technology and Null Void energy. He was no longer just Upgrade, he was something more, something… unstable. He launched himself towards Vilgax, his chrome cables lashing out like whips, attempting to ensnare his crystal-encased body. Vilgax roared in anger and swatted away the cables, sending Ben flying backwards once more. But this time, Ben had anticipated the attack. He used the recoil to propel himself towards the collapsing crystalline structure, fusing with a large shard of crystal as he passed. He felt the crystal energy coursing through him, corrupting his code, threatening to overwhelm him. But he fought it back, clinging to his own identity, his own purpose. He was Ben Tennyson, and he would not be controlled. As Ben approaches the location to merge with a larger crystal, he notices something strange. He notices a few Galvanic Mechamorphs fused and forced to work for Vilgax. He approaches them and tries to reason with them. "I know what Vilgax is doing, and I know he is controlling you. Don't let him control you! Join me, and together we can defeat him!" The Mechamorphs look at him, with confusion, but before long a surge of energy passes through them as they remember who they are. They look at each other and then at Ben. Ben can see that they understand. As the Mechamorphs approach Ben and fuse with him, Vilgax starts to become agitated. Vilgax yells "What are you doing! You are mine to control! I will destroy you!" But it is no use. Ben has now recruited the Mechamorphs, and they are ready to fight. Ben is ready to protect himself and his friends, and he will not let Vilgax get in his way.
He emerged from the crystalline structure, now fused with the crystal shard and the Galvanic Mechamorphs, his body pulsing with a chaotic mix of energy. He was bigger, stronger, more powerful than ever before. But he was also on the verge of losing control. The Null Void energy was corrupting him, turning him into something… else. He knew he had to act fast, before it was too late. He launched himself towards Vilgax again, his chrome cables lashing out with renewed ferocity, enhanced by the crystalline energy. This time, he managed to ensnare Vilgax's limbs, trapping him in a web of alien technology and corrupted crystal. Vilgax roared in frustration and struggled against the restraints, his crystal-encased body straining against the bonds. But Ben held firm, channeling the Null Void energy through his cables, disrupting Vilgax's connection to the dimension's power source. Vilgax's crystal-encased body began to crack and shatter, the crystalline energy fading. He screamed in agony as his newfound power began to dissipate, leaving him weakened and vulnerable. Now was Ben's chance. He focused all of his energy, channeling the Null Void energy regulator through his body, creating a surge of electromagnetic force. He unleashed the energy at Vilgax, disrupting his connection to the Null Void. With a final surge of power, Ben severed Vilgax's connection to the Null Void's energy source. Vilgax screamed in agony as his crystal-encased body shattered, his form reverting back to his original, weakened state. He collapsed to the ground, defeated and powerless. Ben, exhausted but triumphant, reverted back to his human form. He stumbled, catching himself against a piece of rubble. He looked down at Vilgax, his heart pounding in his chest. It was over. He had finally defeated his greatest enemy. Or had he? A sudden tremor shook the cavern, more violent than any before. The collapsing crystalline structure groaned, threatening to bury them all. Ben realized something was wrong. The disruption of Vilgax's connection to the Null Void energy source had destabilized the entire dimension. The Null Void was collapsing in on itself. They had to get out, now. He activated his communicator, desperately trying to contact Gwen and Kevin. But there was no response. The Null Void's energy was interfering with the signal, cutting them off from the outside world. Ben felt a wave of despair wash over him. He was trapped, alone, in a collapsing dimension, with no way to contact his friends. And then, he saw it. A faint light, emanating from a hidden passage, previously concealed by the crystalline structure. It was a way out. But where did it lead? And what dangers awaited him on the other side? Ben knew he had no choice. He had to take the risk, to venture into the unknown, in the hopes of finding a way out of this nightmare. He turned and started running towards the light, leaving Vilgax behind, but not forgotten. He had a feeling this was far from over.
As Ben travels into the light, he ends up in a strange dimension. The sky is purple, the ground is green, and there are floating islands everywhere. Ben looks around in amazement. He has never seen anything like this before. He takes a step forward and falls off the edge of the island! As he is falling, he sees a familiar face. It is Eon! Eon smiles and says "Hello Ben, welcome to my dimension. I have been expecting you." Ben stares at Eon in disbelief. How did Eon know he was coming? What does Eon want? Ben suddenly transforms into Ultimate Alien X! Ben, as Ultimate Alien X, has full control over his body and actions, but Bellicus and Serena are still there. They are watching what is happening, but they cannot interfere. Ben says to Eon, "Eon, what is going on? Why am I here?" Eon smiles and says, "Ben, you are here because you are the key to my plan. I need your power to control time itself, and now that you are here, nothing can stop me!" Eon raises his hand, and Ben is frozen in time! Eon teleports away, laughing maniacally. Ben is now trapped in Eon's dimension, frozen in time, and unable to do anything! What will happen to Ben? Will he ever escape Eon's dimension? And what is Eon planning to do with Ben's power? He cannot tell who it is, but they are getting closer. The figure stops in front of Ben and smiles. It is Professor Paradox!
Professor Paradox says to Ben, "Hello Ben, I know you are frozen in time, but I can still communicate with you. I am here to help you escape this dimension, but you must listen carefully. Eon is planning to use your power to rewrite history, and if he succeeds, the universe will be destroyed! I will give you the power to break free from this time freeze, but you must promise me that you will stop Eon!" Ben nods his head in agreement. Professor Paradox raises his hand, and a surge of energy flows into Ben's body. Ben feels himself breaking free from the time freeze! He is free! Ben looks at Professor Paradox and says, "Thank you, Professor. I promise you, I will stop Eon!" Professor Paradox smiles and says, "I know you will, Ben. Now go, and save the universe!" Professor Paradox disappears, leaving Ben alone in Eon's dimension. Ben looks around and sees Eon in the distance. Eon is standing in front of a giant machine, and he is about to activate it! Ben knows he has to stop Eon, but how? He is in Eon's dimension, and Eon has control over everything! Ben is terrified, but he knows he cannot give up. He has to save the universe, no matter what! And so the adventure continues...
